O cenário global e as implicações para a formação continuada de professores

A formação continuada de professores, concebida como um fenômeno global, permeia os debates educacionais desde a década de 90, em consequência, especialmente, das pressões do mundo do trabalho e dos precários desempenhos escolares de grandes parcelas da população, constatado pelos sistemas governamentais. Por ser concebida como meio para a transformação da qualidade da educação, integra praticamente todas as reformas educativas em curso. No Brasil, a LDB/1996 impulsionou as ações nesse âmbito, refletindo esse período de debates. Objetivou-se neste artigo, de natureza teórica, analisar as relações entre a conjuntura global da atualidade e a formação continuada de professores, tendo como fontes de dados a produção da literatura e a análise documental. Constatou-se que os organismos internacionais, como o Banco Mundial, exercem influência nas diretrizes para essa formação, sendo contempladas muitas de suas recomendações nos documentos oficiais, como a ênfase na formação em serviço e na educação a distância. No cenário da nova ordem global e ideário neoliberal, a educação é transformada em mercadoria e a formação continuada, por vezes, é mais que um projeto formativo, é um projeto econômico, configurando-se como um grande negócio que, como tal, deve ser regido pela lógica do mercado.

Caminhos e descompassos do sindicalismo rural paulista

O artigo procura compreender a relação entre o movimento sindical rural paulista e as formas de resistência e lutas dos bóias-frias em uma região privilegiada do ponto de vista de modernização agrícola. Apresenta subsídios para rebater as teses de que a proletarização rural processou-se linearmente sem confrontos e/ou tensões e de que São Paulo não tem tradição no circuito das lutas travadas no campo.

Analysis of the positioning of the head, trunk, and upper limbs during gait in children with visual impairment

Background: This study analyzed the positioning of the head, trunk, and upper extremities during gait in children with visual impairment. Methods: A total of 11 children participated in this study: 6 with blindness and 5 with low vision. The kinematics of the positioning of the head, trunk, shoulders, and elbows in each participant was analyzed during the four phases of the gait cycle: foot strike, support, toe-off, and swing. Results: There were significant differences between children with blindness and low vision in the positioning of the trunk in the sagittal plane during the foot strike, support, and swing phases. Conclusions: The analysis identified postural alterations of the head, trunk, shoulder, and elbow during the children’s gait, highlighting the relevance of appropriate stimulation at an early age in orientation and mobility programs, as well as the essential presence of professionals who work with movement.

The objective of this paper is to discuss the construction of the image of São Paulo state public schools teachers in the public sphere, by the media and the trade union press, and see how that image is formed in both of them, without making any comparisons, from the covering of 2010 strikes by newspapers Folha de S. Paulo and Jornal da Apeoesp. This paper uses as theoretical basis the study of Media Hegemony, the concept of Radical Media and Public Sphere, as well as the relationship between them and social movements. It also considers the observation of the history and characteristics of trade union press and the Standards of Manipulation by the Press, proposed by Perseu Abramo. The chosen method was the identification, selection and organization of stories about education published by Folha de S. Paulo during the period; the application of Abramo’s proposed manipulation standards on the stories about the strike; research, selection and observation of print publications (Jornal da Apeoesp and newsletters Apeoesp Urgente) about the strike, published by Apeoesp during the same period

Estudo de dinâmicas populacionais aplicado a processos de tratamento biológico de efluentes

The purpose of this work is to perform studies of mathematical modeling of the relationship of interaction occurring between microrganisms participants from wastewater treatment processes aimed at understanding, through simulations, such as inter-relationships can affect the performance of such units. The methodology was the implementation in FORTRAN computer language of mathematical models of microbial interactions. The first model addresses the interaction of bacteria-forming flakes and filamentous bacteria in activated sludge systems, which seeks to strike a balance between these bacteria to improve efficiency of the process. Another model is studied the interaction between bacteria and protozoa in activated sludge systems and analyzing the efficiency of the process, observing the changes in daily load. Microbial interactions in anaerobic reactors were dealt a third model, in which there is the mutualistic interaction between acidogenic and methanogenic bacteria. In a fourth and final model was examined the relationship between the bacteria Acinetobacter sp. and Gordonia sp., which are present in activated sludge systems, showing the competitive capacity of Acinetobacter sp. can control the growth of unwanted bacteria.

Uma atividade de educação em saúde para puérperas num alojamento conjunto

The Rooming favors the permanence of the mother with the newborn, thus establishing a stronger link between the mother and baby, in addition, care assistance and guidance are essential to both through the health care team because they recognize the moments critical that their interventions are necessary to ensure the health of both. The educational lecture was an option to have the opportunity to assist, guide and answer possible questions that may arise for mothers, and also to assess the knowledge of puéperas regarding the care of babies and self care. There was participation from 40 patients. In the study methodology was developed a questionnaire containing two subjects (self-care and care for newborns) was given to patients before and after the lecture held by the author in a rooming Maternity HC de Botucatu. The results were analyzed statistically and studied by the author, allowing note that many significant results were obtained after the lecture, which we realize that the same intervention on self-care was significant in respect of: bleeding, infection in the genital tract and urinary tract, surgical dehiscence , care of the lower limbs and constipation, how to care for the newborn was the significance to the questions about the hygiene of the umbilical stump, cramps, hunger, weeping and pacifiers. In the pre-lecture questions 73.00% of 27.00% were right and wrong. Our conclusion is that the mothers have a high level of prior knowledge and educational lectures enriches their knowledge in a creative and participatory
