O impacto da crise do socialismo no partido comunista do Brasil, 1988-1992

O artigo analisa o impacto das transformações no Leste Europeu sobre o Partido Comunista do Brasil (PC do B), entre o 7a Congresso Partidario (maio de 1988) e o 8° Congresso (fevereiro de 1992). Esse impacto levou a mudanças no partido, as quais podem ser assim resumidas: crítica moderada a Stalin, mais importante por ser a primeira na história do PC do B (manteve-se, entretanto, a concepção de partido marxista-leninista de vanguarda); abandono da teoria das duas etapas da revolução brasileira; realinhamento político no plano internacional, em apoio a partidos comunistas dentro e fora do poder; pêndulo à esquerda na política interna brasileira.

Cidadania, crise e reforma democrática do estado

O artigo analisa como a luta pela extensão da cidadania faz parte do conflito social típico da época moderna. E hoje encontra-se na dependência de uma remvenção da política e de uma recuperação do Estado.

Notas de leitura: hegemonia, crise, Estado, totalitarismo

Este artigo é o que o seu título indica: notas de leitura. Na tentativa de vincular atividade docente e investigação, procuro aqui sintetizar temas surgidos a partir dos cursos de Filosofia das Ciências Humanas do Instituto de Letras, Ciências Sociais e Educação da Universidade Estadual Paulista (ILCSE — UNESP, Campus de Araraquara). Temas para discussão, eles procuram alinhar formulações que unem questões Clássicas a problemas contemporâneos: a crise da sociedade burguesa e as origens do totalitarismo, a reprodução da maneira burguesa de ver o mundo, a conquista do aparelho de estado, e a revolução social, o pensamento liberal e o totalitarismo. Constitui tentativa (não certamente acabada) de escrever para o leitor-aluno e, ao mesmo tempo, resgatar uma referência a problemas teóricos que necessitam tratamento mais profundo.

A crise financeira de 2008: os discursos e as estratégias do governo e dos fundos de pensão

This article focuses on the financial crisis beginning in 2008. Drawing on the work of Lebaron (2010; 2011) and (Grün 2010), the study seeks to grasp the cognitive dimension of the crisis through the discourses produced (and reproduced) by members of the Brazilian government involved in controlling the crisis and by the pension fund sector and its strategies. The method was based on analysis of documents produced by the pension fund sector and the Lula Administration in 2008 and the spinoffs of the discourses and strategies. The text indicates the construction of a discourse emphasizing the importance of state regulation (as opposed to market self-regulation) and the central role of pension funds during the process, since they partially abandoned government bonds and migrated to productive investment, in alliance with the private equity sector, especially in financing construction works under the Growth Acceleration Program.

Avaliação dos parâmetros gasométricos dos traumatizados durante o atendimento pré-hospitalar móvel

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate gasometric differences of severe trauma patients requiring intubation in prehospital care. METHODS: Patients requiring airway management were submitted to collection of arterial blood samples at the beginning of pre-hospital care and at arrival at the Emergency Room. We analyzed: Glasgow Coma Scale, respiratory rate, arterial pH, arterial partial pressure of CO2 (PaCO2), arterial partial pressure of O2 (PaO2), base excess (BE), hemoglobin O2 saturation (SpO2) and the relation of PaO2 and inspired O2 (PaO2/FiO2). RESULTS: There was statistical significance of the mean differences between the data collected at the site of the accident and at the entrance of the ER as for respiratory rate (p = 0.0181), Glasgow Coma Scale (p = 0.0084), PaO2 (p <0.0001) and SpO2 (p = 0.0018). CONCLUSION: tracheal intubation changes the parameters PaO2 and SpO2. There was no difference in metabolic parameters (pH, bicarbonate and base excess). In the analysis of blood gas parameters between survivors and non-survivors there was statistical difference between PaO2, hemoglobin oxygen saturation and base excess.

Crise financeira: o caso japonês

This paper aims to analyze the experience of Japan after the collapse of speculative bubbles in assets and the banking crisis in the 1990s. An analysis about the effectiveness of fiscal and monetary policy is conducted and the measures taken with respect to the banking sector are also discussed in this paper. The Japanese financial crisis experience suggests that the nature, speed and order in which the government implements measures determine, in large part, the magnitude and cost of the crisis. Therefore, in hindsight, it can be said that the following tasks were necessary: 1) recapitalize the banking sector; 2) restore credit; and 3) reinvigorate the economic activity through appropriate fiscal measures.

Divergências entre histórico da consulta e diagnóstico médico de agressões físicas registradas nos prontuários de uma unidade de urgência e emergência

There can be several indicators of violence in society. However, in no other health unit such violence acquires visibility as in emergency. This study aimed to examine whether there is divergence between the history of medical consultation and diagnosis of physical aggressions in the emergency unit. A cross-sectional study was conducted in an emergency unit in the city of Araçatuba, state of São Paulo, Brazil, based on medical records, considering data on patients, lesions, history, diagnosis and treatment. Out of 133,537 visits, only 153 were recorded as physical aggressions, and 161 informed violence in the history of the consultation; 59.6% were male, 60.6% were between 20 and 44 years old. Excoriations, pain and injury predominated. There were no associations between state violence in the diagnosis and the characteristics of patients and visits (schedule, routing, gender, age). The conclusion is that in most cases violence reported in the history of the consultation was not mentioned in the diagnosis of injuries. The characteristics of care and patients were not related to the fact that professionals diagnosed the case as violence.

Representação, crise e mal-estar institucional

Assuming from the very beginning that contemporary democracies cannot work without active parliaments, this article deals with the recurrent image of the crisis of representation of the modern State, that is, with the latter's alleged difficulties to fulfill some of the strategic roles demanded by complex societies in recent times. I contend that the problems of legitimacy in today's political systems are linked with the crisis of the State triggered by the new economic and social structures of contemporary capitalism. According to my hypothesis, the transformations of capitalist society - i.e., of hypermodernity - jeopardized and bypassed representation, which is now facing serious operational issues.

From the point of view of aesthetics of existence, therefore, we proposes a particular notion of poetic, fairly close to what can be understood by the dramatic that underlies the pragmatic of you last Foucault, as well as analyzes your chances to problematize the current pragmatic teaching. Thus, we look forward to assist the educator thinking both the possibility of ethics (self) transformation as the meaning of formation of another in his educational activity.

Thus, considering the determinations of the structural value appreciation crisis and the prevalence of machinefacture as a new form of capital production, the degradation of work sets itself not only as wage degradation but also as existential degradation, changing the historical records of the social issue in the 21st century. We will briefly explain the concepts of global capitalism, machinefacture, structural value appreciation crisis, existential degradation, just-in-time way of life, and ideological work.

Aprendizados com a diferença em uma experiência de paternidade: do testemunho ao cuidado

This essay tells a singular experience of paternity, a parent's relationship to his daughter and learning of a child with special needs. This narrated experience has as an objective of the author's own narration of the transformations of this test, the theoretical features that marked his intellectual trajectory and limits them to express it. From this perspective, this essay seeks to give voice to this unique experience of caring with the goal of establishing a counterpoint with the discourse of inclusion and the specialized knowledge, with a view to a discursive event that produces a philosophical thinking and an apprenticeship with the difference that can promote the self-transformation of individuals who act in this field in their educational action.
