Gestão ambiental: um novo desafio para os profissionais de recursos humanos?

Current research analyzes the importance of human resources managers in organizational sustainability through the ack-nowledgement of the external variables and innovatory practices, such as environment management. In fact, the latter is a challenge for organizations and consequently for the human resources’ area. Investigation comprised a revision of the literature: theoretical and empirical articles that deal with the role of human resources’ mana-gement and on the environmental issue which is daily in the news. The essay is divided into three parts: the first section emphasizes the role of human resources’ managers; empirical evidences of the activities of HR managers in international contexts are dealt with in the second part; the third section deals with the environmental ma-nagement issue as a new challenge for HR managers. HR managers should acknowledge and incorporate in human resources practice the environmental dimension from the stages of recruitment, selec-tion and training. If people with attitudes and competences in the environment are rewarded, they will contribute towards an effective environmental management and, consequently, improvements in organizational results will materialize.

Os álbuns fotojornalísticos online e a construção do acontecimento: atribuições de sentido a partir da composição imagética dos protestos de junho

Given that the choices involved in the selection of compositional techniques in photography are mediated by values, this article aims to analyze the compositional techniques of photographs published by photojournalistic online albums during the protests of June 2013 in Brazil. These albums feature professional and amateur photographs considered "the best" of this event and, interestingly, the chosen photographs have several composition techniques in common. We will examine these images from the perspective of significant effects that these techniques engender with the objective of examining the meanings that were attributed to that event in those albums.

Mudança curricular e a construção do conhecimento pedagógico do conteúdo na educação física

To understand how teachers deal with curriculum change proposals, and how their professional knowledge are involved in this process, is critical in order to understand the impact of these changes in pedagogical practice. From L. S. Shulman’s typology of teacher knowledge, we aimed to describe and interpret how a Physical Education teacher deals with the pedagogical content knowledge when developing a theme from Curriculum Proposal of Physical Education from the State of São Paulo (PPC-EF). A case study was conducted with the use of semi-structured interviews and classroom observation. The teacher made adjustments at the approach and activities suggested by the PPC-PE, mobilizing several teacher knowledge, and her autonomy was not removed. On the other hand, difficulties in relating “theory” and “practice” indicate the need for construction of pedagogical content knowledge to better direct the learning of students to the critical appropriation of movement culture.

A construção da ideia de número na educação infantil

This paper seeks to understand-the process by which the child in kindergarten builds the idea of number. Therefore we developed a qualitative study of phenomenological approach that involved field work in the classroom with children of four and five years. Starting from their real-world contexts, their experiences and using the natural language tasks are designed to help the student to go beyond the already known, analyzing how they thinks and what knowledge they bring their lived experience. By interference carried expanded mathematical ideas acquired. The analysis and interpretation of research data shows that the idea of number is built by children from all kinds of relationships created between objects and the world around them, and the more diverse are these experiences, the greater the understanding opportunities and development of mathematical skills and competencies.
