O atendimento por instituição pública de saúde: percepção de famílias de doentes com câncer

This study aimed to analyze how the families of cancer patients perceived the treatment provided at a specialist public outpatient clinic, using Bardin's method of Content Analysis. Seven families consisting of fourteen family members were interviewed. They underlined doctor-patient relationship, judging it to be impersonal and superficial, resulting in a lack of security and trust. Families try to to participate but feel undervalued and excluded from the care. Necessary information that they are not given is sought in the media, while comfort is achieved through religious or spiritual practices. Health care training must encourage professionals to view the family as a unit of care, aligning training to different modes of health care.

Saúde do Idoso: percepções relacionadas ao atendimento

Objetivou-se compreender como o idoso percebe o atendimento na atenção básica.Métodos: Trata-se de estudo qualitativo. Resultados: A análise possibilitou o emergir do tema central: A dualidade na percepção do atendimento na Atenção Básica, que foi analisada a partir de duas subcategorias. Revelou haver controvérsia na percepção do atendimento recebido, emergindo aspectos positivos e negativos. Os discursos pontuam demanda de ações individualizadas de cuidado, embora algumas vezes necessitem de cuidados complexos em saúde, não demandam cuidado em rede integrada. Conclusão: O estudo revela que, embora possa haver integralidade nas ações de uma equipe bem articulada, o cuidado integral à saúde poderá ser alcançado em rede, integrado em todos os espaços organizacionais do sistema de saúde, beneficiando, assim, os sujeitos dessas ações.

Our intention was to describe the case of a six-year-old boy, carrier of a language disturbance associated to neurological disorders, in language therapy. Our goal was to build instruments for the diagnosis of similar cases. Relating the patient's psychopathological characteristics with a neurological disease, we understood that both results in manifestations of verbal and physical aggressiveness as well as in the severe disturbance of the language. We hope we have contributed to the understanding of the disturbances of communication associated to psychogenic symptoms and of neurological disorders.

Avaliação das atividades realizadas em uma instituição de atendimento de crianças e jovens com autismo: contribuições com a implantação de um serviço de terapia ocupacional

O Autismo Infantil é um Transtorno Global do Desenvolvimento que se caracteriza pela presença de comprometimentos severos nas áreas de comunicação, interação social recíproca, interesses e comportamentos. Este trabalho teve como objetivos analisar o atendimento realizado com indivíduos autistas em uma instituição e verificar como a Terapia Ocupacional pode contribuir na atenção voltada aos alunos. A pesquisa foi realizada através da observação e registro em diário de campo das atividades realizadas por cinco indivíduos com Autismo em uma associação específica de Autismo e Transtornos no Desenvolvimento. Também foi realizada entrevista com os profissionais que atuam na instituição. No diário de campo, nota-se a prevalência das atividades pedagógicas. Por outro lado, observa-se escassez de atividades funcionais, de atividades básicas e instrumentais de vida diária, e de atividades direcionadas à comunicação e interação. Nas entrevistas, foi possível constatar que existe interesse dos profissionais na implantação do serviço de Terapia Ocupacional. Considerando as possibilidades de atuação da Terapia Ocupacional junto às crianças e jovens com autismo, conclui-se que a implantação desse setor nessa associação poderia trazer inúmeros benefícios para os usuários e equipe de profissionais da instituição.

Atendimento Educacional Especializado: análise do índice de evasão de professores em curso de pós-graduação, na modalidade a distância

This research aims to investigate the possible causes for the dropout of participants under instruction in distance courses. Data gathered from the Specialization Course in Specialized Educational Support Services - SES, sponsored by the Department for Continuing Education, Literacy and Diversity of the Ministry of Education - SECAD / MEC - and the Open University of Brazil – OUB, will be analyzed. The objective of the course is to graduate teachers who work in classrooms equipped with multifunctional resources in regular schools to give specialized educational support for students with special educational needs marked by disabilities, global development disorders and high abilities/highly gifted students. In order to analyze dropout data in the first semester of the ongoing course, a sample of 1349 participants enrolled in the distance course was considered; 216 of these had their enrollment cancelled on request or because they stopped accessing the Virtual Learning Environment - VLE / Teleduc Platform showing no interest in the course. However, the information below aims to present and discuss only the tabulated data of the 98 participants who requested to have their enrollment officially cancelled by submitting the online dropout term. The findings showed the main reasons for dropping out were personal problems, lack of time to commit to an ongoing distance course, difficulty using ICT and the tools available in the VLE. The research also highlighted the importance of developing digital inclusion initiatives as well as on-site supporting poles as a way to soften the barriers of technological accessibility and the dropout rate in this kind of courses.

Currently the Brazilian construction market is growing like gangbusters and every day grows its competition. With this Brazilian scenario, the government is supporting the construction companies and offering resources for real estate projects. To acquire resources Caixa Econômica Federal requirements you must meet in planning the work, as the development of budgets, timelines and memorials. This study aimed to planning a work according to the requirements of Caixa Econômica Federal, which was done with the aid of two softwares . First the methods and tools that are used to perform a planning were discussed. Then, based on the theory and observing the requirements of the financing bank budgets, memorials and schedules with the help of software were performed. At the end of the project, it was possible to observe the importance of using theoretical methods and software to facilitate and improve the timelines and budgets made , and thus the planning itself, which every day becomes more common in construction companies, because with the increase of competition and market requirements, is critical to reducing the loss and time, thus maintaining customer satisfaction and company

The self-evaluation is increasingly necessary in a competitive environment, and a way for companies to self-evaluate is through your budget. Knowing the importance of this budgetary process, this study aimed to observe and analyze the developing process of a zero-based budgeting (ZBB) highlighting its best practices and difficulties and propose recommendations for other companies in general. This goal was achieved through a case study in an area responsible for the budgeting process in the customer services department from a white-goods company. Also was required to review the literature regarding the customer services area, waste reduction, cost management, budgets in general and the zero-based budgeting. After reviewing the literature and the study, we can highlight good practices and difficulties observed in the studied company, and also propose recommendations on how to develop a zero-based budget and evidence what plans, analyzes and justifications are essential in a good budget process execution

Utilização de água pluvial para fins não potáveis: análise do atendimento da demanda pelo método de eficiências para dimensionamento de reservatório para diferentes regimes pluviométricos brasileiros

Brazil has about 12 % of a life´s essential resource: the superficial fresh water of the planet. However, today it is possible to observe the bad management of this resource, generating serious consequences on the quality that results in the loss of the use´s availability. In this scenario, the catchment of rainwater for undrinkable use is an alternative that has been broadly studied for the scientific community. When planning a system of rainwater catchment, the sizing of the required volume of the tank that will keep the water has a fundamental importance for the project, seeing that the supersizing of the tank can bring high costs and the undersizing can bring shortage in the water supply. This paper used a methodology based on two concepts: the harvesting efficiencies and the attending efficiencies of the system. This method takes as principle that exist a perfect demand that minimize the repayment time, condition that happened when the efficiencies are equal. Brazilian’s cities with different weathers and different rainfalls where chosen to simulate the attending for different demands for a typical residence. The data where parameterized according to the roof area and the number of residents, that way is possible that a future conference can be easily done and it also ensure results closer to the reality. The results showed that cities with a lower period of drought, even those with high level of rainfall on the raining mouths, have lower potential of water supply. The cities where the rainfall is more constant and also more high, even small roofs areas and small tank´s volumes – about half of the size compare to the cities with less propitious conditions – can generate high levels of water saving. With an eye to promote the environmental sustainability, the investment on projects for the catchment of rainwater is a good alternative

Estudo das interferências da ansiedade no estado psicológico de atletas juniores de futebol

O futebol é reconhecidamente o esporte mais praticado no mundo e entre os vários fatores intra e extracampo que podem influenciar no resultado estão os aspectos psicológicos. Muitos jovens sonham em se tornar em se tornar grandes craques e conseguir sucesso, dinheiro e reconhecimento por meio deste esporte. Uma das principais competições para estes é a Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior que é um dos maiores torneios de futebol para atletas juniores do Brasil. Sabemos que um dos fatores que mais afetam os atletas é a ansiedade e está diretamente ligado, a importância da competição, de cada jogo, distância de casa, viagem de avião, mudança de hábitos, adaptação ao clima e fuso horário, entre outros aspectos que provocam um aumento da ansiedade. O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar o nível de ansiedade pré competitiva nos atletas de uma equipe no decorrer da primeira fase da competição, composta de três partidas, sendo estas a 1ª contra a equipe da casa, a 2ª contra uma equipe de grande porte do estado de São Paulo e a 3ª contra uma equipe que já estava eliminada. A amostra utilizada foi de vinte atletas do sexo masculino, na faixa etária entre dezesseis e dezoito anos, representantes do clube ABC Futebol Clube – RN. Foram utilizados documentos armazenados nos Bancos de Dados do LEPESPE (Laboratório de Estudos e Pesquisas em Psicologia do Esporte), do DEF-IB-UNESP, campus de Rio Claro obtidos através da utilização de um questionário adaptado do CSAI2 com questões fechadas, aplicado aos atletas em momento antecessor à partida, contando com a colaboração e disponibilidade de atletas e comissão técnica.
