Milton a poem in 2 books: influência e afluência na linguagem poético-visual de William Blake

Sob a influência de seu predecessor mais forte, John Milton, o poeta, pintor e gravurista William Blake reage a essa influência incorporando-a dinamicamente à sua poesia. Porém, a reação à influência poética é mais abrangente que a incorporação do Paradise Lost, de John Milton, ao seu poema Milton: a Poem in Two Books e conduz o autor a criar uma linguagem poética na qual as referências extratextuais verbais e visuais são transferidas, por meio de metalinguagem, para o interior do próprio poema. Sem referências claras para ajudá-lo, o leitor é induzido a criar suas referências subjetivas e dar sentido ao texto, transformando-se, assim, de leitor passivo, em leitor/criador ativo. Palavras-chave: William Blake; iluminuras; John Milton; influência; reação; sistema verbal/visual.

Several studies have shown that different stretching routines can lead to decreases on acute neuromuscular system performance. Although the deficit in muscle strength mediated by different methods of stretching has been systematically observed, few studies have investigated the possible existence of a dose-response relationship between the amount of stretching and muscle strength deficit in older adults. In this context, the objective of this study was to investigate the acute effect of two different stretching volumes on isometric force-time curve (Cf-t) in elderly women. The study included 13 older women (64.08 ± 4.27 years, 69.98 ± 10.56 kg, 157.90 ± 8.66 cm, 28.25 ± 4.22 kg/m²). The participants visited the laboratory for five consecutive days, among which the first two were used for familiarization. During the other three days the participants underwent experimental conditions: control (C) stretch 30 seconds (AE30) and stretch 60 seconds (AE60). For the AE30 and AE60 conditions, three series of passive static stretching were performed, with duration of 30 and 60 seconds, respectively. The experimental conditions were performed with an interval of at least 24 hours between them and the order of execution was randomized. The recording of isometric Cf-t of the knee extensor muscles was performed in extensor chair connected to a force transducer. Measurements were recorded immediately after each experimental condition, for five seconds. For statistical analysis, descriptive procedures were used and ANOVA one way to check possible changes on the Maximal Voluntary Contraction (CVM) and Peak Rate of Force Development (TDFP) among the three conditions (p <0.05). The ANOVA showed no statistically significant difference for CVM and TDFP, between the three conditions. The purpose of this research project is to analyze the Convergence Culture, a term coined by Henry Jenkins, to refer to the cultural transformation we are experiencing - people want to produce their own content, share their stories, expand their experiences and make connections to different platforms media. That is, individuals have changed their position once considered passive and accommodating to sustain an environment of intense involvement, construction and collective pursuit of new experiences. So that we could reach that culture converged, there was a paradigm shift from an asymmetric communication for communication increasingly bilateral. In this new scenario, communication to different audiences is based on a participatory and collaborative model in which organizations do not have absolute control over the media message. The human social organization has undergone major changes in recent years. The technological and digital revolutions accelerated the process of dissemination and evolution of the knowledge in all sciences, from social studies to nanotechnology. This process led to many advances that have enabled the emergence of new markets. Among these new markets, residential automation shows to be a market of great potential, seeking to meet the needs of residents, in order to make their daily practice and as fast as the rhythm of present life requests. To perform this task the residence stops being a passive place and becomes an active and controllable system, where actions may occur without the need for direct human interaction. The aim of this work is designing the electrical installation of a residence seeking better use of energy and show the technology diversity involving intelligent houses

Controle postural e informação sensorial em idosos diabéticos praticantes e não praticantes de atividade física

O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar o desempenho dos sistemas sensoriais e do controle postural de idosos diabéticos e investigar a relação entre as alterações destes sistemas e do controle postural desta população. Participaram deste estudo dez idosos diabéticos ativos (62±4,4 anos) (GDA), 10 diabéticos sedentários (65,5±7,4 anos) (GDS) e 10 idosos saudáveis ativos (63,2±4.5anos) (GCA) foram submetidos a avaliações sensoriais e de controle postural. As avaliações sensoriais foram compostas por avaliação somatossensorial (sensibilidade cutânea e sensibilidade ao movimento passivo). Para avaliar o controle postural foram analisadas medidas de oscilação corporal durante manutenção da postura ereta (em tandem stance e bipodal). Os resultados indicaram pior desempenho do GDS na avaliação do movimento passivo e de controle postural. Nas avaliações de controle postural, o GDS apresentou uma maior amplitude média de oscilação (AMO) (cm) nas condições de manutenção da postura ereta na posição tandem stance na direção médio-lateral. No teste de sensibilidade ao movimento passivo, o GDS precisou, em média, de um maior deslocamento angular para perceber o movimento das articulações do joelho e tornozelo. Estes resultados indicam, portanto, que as alterações estruturais e fisiológicas decorrentes do diabetes, resultam em piora do desempenho dos sistemas sensoriais e de controle postural. Além disso, a maior deterioração do sistema proprioceptivo em idosos diabéticos pode interferir negativamente no desempenho de controle postural dos mesmos. Desta forma, a atividade física minimiza a perda sensorial e ainda ajuda no controle postural dos diabéticos.

Desidratação de lodo proveniente de ETA através de tubos geotexteis

Currently exists a growing concern for the preservation of the environment Around the world, the environmental awareness in Brazil has strengthened during the past two decades. This concern in Brazil arises from the creation of mechanisms of supervision and punishment on the part of the environmental agencies. In order to meet the pertinent legislation many public and private companies have performed dehydration of waste generated in the process of treatment of industrial effluents, waste water and water treatment in order to reduce transport and disposal costs. The use of geotextile tubes has proven technically and economically feasible to be applied in various situations from water treatment to mining tailings. This work presents the solution adopted for an environmental liability in water treatment plant through the use of geotextile tubes to reduce the water content of the disposal. We evaluated the size distribution curves, Atterberg limits, and chemical composition of the residue. Found high concentrations of aluminum in the waste which would characterize environmental pollution if disposed off directly in nature with no treatment

Marcadores discursivos: uma proposta lexicográfica

Spanish is a language that in recent years has been growing in importance both politically and socially and economically, since some of the major international markets such as Chile, Spain, Mexico and Argentina, among many, have this language as the official language. This fact motivated us to conduct research that could, in some way, contribute to the teaching of this language in Brazil. Thus under the aegis of the theories and practices of bilingual lexicography, we seek to describe and analyze the treatment that some Spanish - Portuguese bilingual dictionaries present in our market give to the sentence connectors. From a textual corpus selected the markers and observe how the dictionaries analyzed work with this type of unit. We found that the information contained in these lexicographical works is not sufficient to meet the needs of Brazilian learners. Then, we proposed a macrostructure of a passive bilingual dictionary of sentence connectors in the language pair Spanish - Portuguese. Our research aims to contribute to bilingual lexicography both in regard to theoretical and methodological reflections on the application of these theories.
