Health education presently experiences the incorporation of information technology, thus making access to information more practical and attainable. The initiatives to make health care scientific content available virtually have shown to be useful for teaching, health care professionals and the general population. A website, however, must be constantly managed. To promote the dissemination of the website at www.educacaoemsaude.fmb.unesp.br among faculty members and undergraduate nursing students and students at Escola Técnica de Enfermagem (Vocational Nursing School) - ETE, by evaluating, among them, its graphic and functional aspects and seeking suggestions for its improvement. This is a descriptive quantitative study for which the participants were asked to fill out an instrument designed for the study. The evaluation was performed among nursing faculty members and students at Univ Estadual Paulista Júlio Mesquita Filho – UNESP and students at Escola Técnica de Enfermagem (Vocational Nursing School) – ETEC in the city of Botucatu. The number of participants totaled 88 individuals, of whom 23 were undergraduate students, 62 were students at ETEC, and 3 were faculty members. Eighty-one were females, and 7 were males. The participants’ age ranged from 17 to 56 years. Among the items that evaluated the website, the answers prevailed from “very good” to “good”. When the participants were asked what they had thought about the website, the answers were mostly positive, and the most frequently description given was “interesting”. Among the facilities, the most frequently reported was “easily understood content”, and as regards difficulties, handling the website was the most often mentioned. This article proposes an analysis of two interrelated contemporary phenomenon, which are - the pedagogy of "learning to learn" and the resources used as learning facilitators. Both are considered as strategic instruments to current educational policy, being referenced and quoted in national and international documents. For sake of them, methodological changes occurred in learning: teaching got to be outside the classroom, the learning mediator instrument stopped to focus on the figure of the teacher, new methods of teaching were invented and the students get a quickly practical and accurate access to the information. However, from a critical-and-dialectical perspective, this study aims to raise questions about these changes and understand through the concept of mediation, the role of the educational practice, especially at school, currently are taking place in our society.

This paper addresses the issue of access the industrial heritagerailway information integrating the EFNOB in the city of Bauru / SP, through the use of new technologiesinformation. For constitute a major challenge in gathering, organizing, scanning and providing such documentary collection, the research aims to organize and disseminate information document, supported by new access technologies, aiming to preserve and create conditions for setting up a database of documents and cartographic this collection. This research is part of our project entitled "EFNOB Bauru: Center for Memory and Virtual Information", which in turn is part of the larger project, called "EFNOB / Bauru, Km 0," FAPESP / CONDEPHAAT. One of the cornerstones of the work is to collect, treat, select and the heritagedisseminate of movable and immovable EFNOB through the creation of a MemoryCentre and Industrial HeritageRailwayInformation of EFNOB.

Aimed to analyze the scientific literature on information management and knowledge management in the most relevant journals in the Information Science field, noting in this way then relevance and impact to this field. It is a qualitative research and analyzed the scientific literature about this subject published in journals (online access) in the Information Science area and classified as Qualis of Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES), specifically those who were assessed as level 'A' and 'B', covering a total of 26 journal titles. We applied the Bradford's Law for the scientific production analysis, especially in relation to the articles distribution in terms of proximity or distance variables. We observed that the terms 'information management' and 'knowledge management' are contemporary and have been gained relevance over time. We also founded that the general rule: few produces a lot and many produces a little is true if considered the characteristics of the studied data distribution.

The Information Society (IS) may be taken as a geopolitical organization which started after the Third Industrial Revolution, having direct impact on the use of information and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). The expression arose as techno-social paradigm change in the post-industrial society, aiming to use information as currency to the society-in-progress at that time. In Brazil it has become stronger with the Programa Sociedade da Informação no Brasil-Livro Verde, lunched by the Ministerio da Ciência e Tecnologia, in September 2000 without any discussion with the civil society to formulate the main document. Our main goal in this article is to discuss the Information Society in contemporary times, and also the organized and conscious use of information, looking for key-concepts to a better understanding of it, from some topics as digital inclusion-exclusion to the use of digital informational resources.
