Contaminação na cidade de Caçapava, SP: exposição ao risco e investigação confirmatória

A Geografia da Saúde é um eixo temático dentro da ciência geográfica preocupada com as questões pertinentes à saúde ambiental e a saúde do coletivo. As contribuições dos geógrafos para o estudo da Saúde tem sido de grande valia, indo para além da análise espacial das práticas em saúde como também investigando e analisando os fatores determinantes ao risco a saúde e, inversamente, ao bem estar-estar do social e ambiental. Dentro deste contexto, esta monografia se propõe a uma investigação confirmatória a cerca de uma contaminação ao meio ambiente por metais pesados, neste caso, a contaminação por chumbo por uma extinta fábrica de lingotes de chumbo situada no município de Caçapava, SP. O chumbo é um metal que não possui função fisiológica conhecida ao corpo humano. Devido a características físicas e químicas favoráveis, esse metal foi largamente explorado pelo setor industrial e hoje, no mundo todo, temos exemplos de casos de contaminação tanto da população e do ambientel, por ser altamente tóxico. Caçapava possui mais um infeliz exemplo de contaminação ambiental por metais pesados, decorrente de uma fábrica que produzia o chumbo secundário e que atualmente está fechada por ordem judicial, abandonada e com toneladas de escória de chumbo armazenada de modo irregular, fato que está colaborando para uma contaminação residual naquele ambiente... Cultura em excesso?: uma investigação dos dispêndios com cultura nos municípios fluminenses

A monografia apresenta um breve panorama dos aspectos econômicos do Estado do Rio de Janeiro com o intuito de destacar o papel da indústria do petróleo na economia do mesmo, assim como as rendas provenientes dos pagamentos de royalties e participações especiais aos municípios produtores. O fato é que enormes recursos são entregues a esses municípios, o que torna extremamente importante a investigação da qualidade da alocação destes. Ambiciona-se por meio deste trabalho a análise das despesas culturais dos municípios fluminenses com o propósito de identificar se as cidades que mais recebem royalties gastam relativamente mais nesta área comparado a outras. Este exame é relevante, principalmente pela dificuldade de definição do conceito de cultura e por as contas culturais municipais não serem auditadas pelos Tribunais de Contas, o que favoreceria um possível canal de desvio de verbas públicas

Our aim is besides de obstacles, to identify the efficacy and effectiveness of SAN social network, highlighting the National Program of School Food – PNAE. The analysis focuses the city of Araraquara and its food security program network in its relationship with the settlements, highlighting its cultural and productive particularities.

A investigação apreciativa como metodologia participativa e as suas possíveis interfaces com comunicação organizacional: um estudo de caso na Nutrimental

This work aims to present Appreciative Inquiry as a participative methodology and seeks to establish possible relationships with organizational communication. For this, we make a literature review about topics such as participation, participative planning, appreciative inquiry, it's basic concepts, it's methodology and possibilities. It also presents the fundamental concepts of communication and organizational culture and public relations, searching to highlight the perceived interfaces through the interrelation of concepts, the main references, authors such as Demo (1999), Gandin (1994) Brose (2010), Cooperrider and Whitney (2006), Varona (2004), Bordenave (1999), Kunsch (2002) and Marchiori (2013). In order to verify the applicability of this methodology, this paper also develops a qualitative study, using the technique of indepth research with the first Brazilian organization using Appreciative Inquiry: Nutrimental, a food company. The results of the application of AI in the organization are presented and then seeks to make the possible connections with the concepts of communication and organizational culture

A violência familiar sofrida na infância: uma investigação na adolescência

This study aims to highlight the prevalence of situations of domestic violence experienced by adolescents during their childhood. It is cross-sectional study with 372 adolescents enrolled in a vocational training institution, Araçatuba-SP, utilizing the Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ), translated and validated. Gender and social class were also investigated. According to the results, 180 adolescents were female and 192 were male. The predominant social class was B2 (39.2%). Seventy two percent of teens reported having experienced at least some form of violence during childhood. Mild (28.7%) and moderate (9.2%) emotional abuse were the most prevalently associated, as well as between: physical and emotional violence, physical and sexual, physical and emotional neglect, sexual and emotional abuse, emotional neglect and emotional. Regarding social class, no associations were found. In conclusion, most teens suffered abuse in childhood, with a prevalence of emotional violence.

The Digital Age, with its new interactive and converging technologies, stimulates original forms of sociability, which are interconnected, intercommunicating and virtualized through hyperscreens. Another kind of interaction arises from the digitization and new speeds of contemporary communicative process. With the new order of knowledge, it is now possible to transgress the limits of physical space and linear time sequence, through the collective development of content through such telematics networks. Youth gives voice to a new type of user, or a social actor, whose thinking is connected to other communication habits, consolidating singular cultural standards, demanding new languages and skills. Here, we address the nature of this Design of new relations, interactions, behaviors and social systems that emerge in the so called Information Society.

Redes sociais na Internet: uma investigação sobre práticas de compartilhamento de arquivos no Facebook

The social networking sites have experienced a large and rapid growth in recent years and bring together millions of users in Brazil and worldwide. Such networks allow adding groups of people with common interests or relationships, enabling members of this group to communicate and exchange information. Some social networks have specific goals, for example, aggregate individuals with common interests and professional relationships. However, they all share information in some way, whether in the form of short texts, photos, videos, among others. Sharing information in files is also a growing activity on the Internet and can be done in various ways, from sending files via email to multiple contacts to make available areas shared by the same contacts. However, applications are not yet available to enable file sharing on Facebook, considered the premier social network today. Given the growing demand for sharing files over the Internet, and a large number of users familiar with the use of these integrated applications for Facebook there is a demand for applications that allow users to share files with their contacts in this social network. This study aims to investigate how users use Facebook, and their practices for file sharing. It is believed that the results will substantiate future projects to develop software for file sharing on Facebook. Due to the exploratory nature of this research, the choice was made for a survey to collect data, applied through the web. From the results obtained, was possible to observe a frequent use of file sharing, but no interest in paid services. Regarding Facebook, was possible to observe their extensive use in both the frequency of access as the hours spent, as well as an increased use of applications (games, quiz, etc.). The full set of results shows a favorable environment for developing applications for sharing files on Facebook.

Mídia e desenvolvimento social no documentário transmídia

The genre documentary in itself characterized by citizen emancipation from the content discussed in his works. Termed as images of the people by Jean-Claude Bernardet (2003), the documentary is gaining traction in social development when added to citizen participation offered by transmedia storytelling. This study presents the results obtained from a literature search, the film analysis and experimentation supported in quasi-experimental methodology, results that support these conditions. Hopefully, from this discussion, consolidate the systematic development of transmedia documentary works in new media ecology and that maximizes the role of journalism by a traditionally audiovisual platform, now with other strands to the representation of the news.
