Propriedades físicas de um Nitossolo Vermelho em função dos sistemas de uso e manejo

O solo, um dos principais suportes da produção agrícola tem seu comportamento regido por um complexo conjunto de fatores físicos, químicos e biológicos, razão pela qual o presente trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar as modificações dos atributos físicos de um Nitossolo Vermelho distroférrico com diferentes manejos, na Faculdade de Ciências Agronômicas - UNESP, Campus de Botucatu, São Paulo, Brasil. O delineamento estatístico foi inteiramente casualizado, com seis repetições em três diferentes áreas, sendo uma área de mata nativa, uma área com sistema de preparo convencional do solo e uma área com plantio direto. Foram determinados: matéria orgânica, argila natural, porosidade total, macroporosidade, densidade do solo, resistência à penetração e diâmetro médio ponderado dos agregados. O sistema de preparo convencional apresentou os menores teores de matéria orgânica na camada até 0,20 m. Na resistência à penetração não houve diferença entre os tratamentos. Para as cinco profundidades do sistema de preparo convencional observaram-se maior densidade e teor de argila natural em comparação aos outros sistemas. O sistema de preparo convencional diferiu dos demais tratamentos quanto ao diâmetro médio ponderado, porosidade total e macroporosidade apresentando os menores valores desses atributos.

Caracterização topológica dos motivos das redes biológicas integradas da Escherichia coli e da Saccharomyces cerevisiae

The reducionism method has helped in the clari cation of functioning of many biological process. However, such process are extremely complex and have emergent properties that can not be explained or even predicted by reducionism methods. To overcome these limits, researchers have been used a set of methods known as systems biology, a new area of biology aiming to understand the interactions between the multiple components of biological processes. These interactions can be represented by a mathematical object called graph or network, where the interacting elements are represented by a vertex and the interactions by edges that connect a pair of vertexes. Into graphs it is possible to nd subgraphs, occurring in complex networks at numbers that are signi cantly higher than those in randomized networks, they are de ned as motifs. As motifs in biological networks may represent the structural units of biological processess, their detection is important. Therefore, the aim of this present work was detect, count and classify motifs present in biological integrated networks of bacteria Escherichia coli and yeast Saccharomyces cere- visiae. For this purpose, we implemented codes in MathematicaR and Python environments for detecting, counting and classifying motifs in these networks. The composition and types of motifs detected in these integrated networks indicate that such networks are organized in three main bridged modules composed by motifs in which edges are all the same type. The connecting bridges are composed by motifs in which the types of edges are diferent

Validação dos parâmetros aeróbio e anaeróbio a partir de protocolo não invasivo aplicado ao exercício resistido - supino reto

The purpose of this study was to investigate the validity of critical force test from maximal lactate steady state (MLSS) during resistance test using straight bench press. Five healthy male volunteers aged (22.6 ± 2.88 years), weight (76.3 ± 11.49 kg) e height (182.6 ± 7.54cm), trained in resistance exercise, and performed four diferent test to determine: one maximal effort (1RM), critical force using the critical power model (force vs 1/time limit - 20, 25 and 30% 1RM). The CF was the linear coefficient and the anaerobic impulse capacity (CIA) was the angular. MLSS was determined using loads of 80, 90, 100 and 110% of critical force. Blood lactate samples were abtained at each 300sec between each stage of total 1200sec. Maximal 30s test (M30) was accomplished with load of 25% of body weight in SBP. The results showed that the 1 RM was 79.4 Kgf (± 16.98), CF 10.1N (± 2.25), CIA 1756.82 N.s (± 546.96) and the R² 0.984 (± 0,02). The MLSS occurs at 100% CF load. The lactate concentration at the MLSS was 2.2 mmol/L (± 0.77). Significant correlation was observed between MLSS and CF on SBP (r = 0.88 p = 0.05). In M30 the minimum, mean and peak power were (25.0 ± 4.9, 28.0 ± 4.9, and 30.0 ± 4.6 kgf.rps, respectively). The fatigue index was 18.0% (± 6,8). The M30 was significantly correlated with Ppeak and Pmean (r = 0.98 for both, p = 0.003). The CF means has been validated to predict the resistance training and the CIA show to be a representative anaerobic parameter in straight bench press.

Análise semiótica do conto Passeio Noturno, de Rubem Fonseca

This paper presents an analysis of the short story Passeio Noturno I, by Rubens Fonseca, from the gerative way of sense, oriented by Greimas´ postulations of generative semiotics. For the semiotics, discourse is conceived as a superposition of levels of diferent depth which are articulated according to a way which goes from the abstract to the concrete (BARROS, 2001). Following the notion of gerative way, the analysis of the short story is three folded: the level of fundamental structures, the level of the narrative structures and the level of the discursive structures. The subject matter that underlies the structure of the short story refers to a critique of the violence present in capitalist society in which "voices of culture" coexist with "voices of barbarie".
