Here we present an exploratory study on the subject of Physics and Music, discussing how this issue is addressed in two high schools belonging to state education network in Rio Claro – SP city. Initially, we conducted a critical analysis of the books that are used as the main tool to support the teacher in the classroom. Alert this analysis , it is possible to realize low-level content when we bring the topic into the classroom. Based in this analysis and an experimental class that was held as part of the course Teaching Practice and Supervised , the Bachelor's Degree in Physical Activity - UNESP Campus Rio Claro was an elaborate educational proposal related to Physics Teaching and Music with a thematic strategy different from the traditional approach , considering the use of experiments built with low cost (Ferreira and Ramos , 2008) materials , which can be an alternative to improve the teaching learning process student , because these experiments stimulate and provide a more dynamic and closer interaction with the objects class. We also seek to study, in greater depth , aspects of wave physics, discussing how a wave propagates in a string with its two fixed ends , which besides being a subject that is usually covered in books , is a phenomenon that is present in string instruments

The Bom Futuro tin deposit is located in Ariquemes, north-central state of Rondônia. Since its discovery in the late 80s, the tin deposit of Bom Futuro has been explored and considered one of the leading Brazilian producers of cassiterite, exploring it mainly in secondary deposits (placers) in the vicinity of the hill Bom Futuro. The primary mineralization occurs in the contacts between quartz veins and pegmatites with the rocks of the hill and its exploitation has been the goal of new studies in the area. These bodies occur in all rock types of the hill, leading edges of hydrothermal alteration with each rock. The focus of the study is the characterization of hydrothermal alteration through the analysis of the edges of pegmatitic veins intruded on each of the main rock types found on the hill Bom Futuro, which are: biotite gneiss, biotite amphibolite, subvolcanic breccia, topaz leucogranite, topaz leucoriolito and micro melassienito porphyry. The analysis and comparison showed familiarities between the edges of alteration encountered, and possible subdivision into three main zones: the inner zone or the vein itself, intermediate zone or transition zone and the change zone where the passage of hydrothermal features to rocks features is gradual. This work deals with the thermal load study of a fictitious aircraft as well as scaling, in terms of the airflow and temperature of the air conditioning system, for heating and cooling of the its internal environment, aiming the thermal comfort of occupants. The first part is presented the techniques and methods utilized for modeling different heat exchanges that occur in the aircraft and then allowed to calculate the total heat load and the airflow and temperature necessary to comply with the requirements of the thermal comfort. Techniques to determine the basic parameters, as convection coefficient and global coefficient of heat exchange, are also presented. The work aims to develop a program, using a computational tool, to automate the calculations so that facilitate this study. It also allows to be used for other airplanes just changing parameters and the control variables related to the specific project. Finally the program performs calculations for a fictitious airplane, to analyze its functionality and the influence of parameters involved in the temperature controls. The program allowed analyzing the sensitivity of portions of the thermal load and the corresponding parameters of influence, as well as the scaling of the air conditioning in terms of airflow and temperature. It was considered, despite the simplifications, a good approximation to the actual values and then can be used in development of the other airplanes

The use of refrigeration and air conditioning systems is of fundamental importance when it comes to air-conditioning of environments. Also important is the use of electricity for equipments’ operation related to these systems. Due to high cost of charging for this type of energy, factors economy and efficiency occupy key roles among design parameters of a system. One of the ways to get this economy is the use of a technique called thermal storage, or cold storage, which intends to move the required loads during peak time and also their equalizing, so that the energy is transferred from the peak time to non-peak time, thereby reducing the cost of energy consumed. Cold can be stored in the form of ice or ice water. This work aims to perform a technical-economic analysis of a mall located in Vale do Paraíba checking the feasibility of deploying a thermal storage system to achieve an economy in the cost of the energy used by the establishment. Through the parameters measured by the concessionaire of energy we can get the values of energy demand and power consumed, which will serve as basis for calculation for the study. The results obtained allow the development of two alternative proposals to the current configuration, one chosen by the criteria and results presented by technical-economic and energy analysis

The study and selection of an equipment of air conditioner for any type of environment, should be made without overestimate or undersizing the project. The undersizing does not provide an adequate comfort temperature if the environment is too hot because the air conditioner does not remove all the heat necessary in the environment. But if the project is oversized, energy consumption is higher and there is an unnecessary cost. To prevent these failures is necessary to make a calculation of the thermal load on the environment and choose the equipment that has a higher cooling capacity than the calculated heat load and closer to the calculated heat load. In this graduate work will be chosen an air-conditioned equipment for bus, showing the calculations made for the thermal load for various types of heat gain in this type of vehicle. The thermal load on vehicles is more complicated to calculate than in areas because there are several factors that vary with the movement of the vehicle. It will also explain the compression refrigeration cycle, which is the cooling system used in vehicles because it is weightless, compact and lower cost. From the calculated heat load, it will be chosen an air conditioner that best suits the project and, finally, a brief presentation of the selected equipment will be made

This paper tries, across research, books, magazines and charts that relate to the architecture of today, establishing a direction as to the technological advances that may be involved in the architecture project. Such that the configuration space has flexibility to meet the basic architectural principles and the wishes of the user, who should participate as a key character of the decisions of spatialization - interface. Both the personal point of view of their social relations within the housing, and the functional environments equipped and qualified to meet expectations during its use. Respecting the power of free choice of human beings, not to put yourself to the detriment by excessive use of technology. This study proposes to present the process of implementation of Digital TV, the available resources found in the Japanese standard employed in the country and the form in which news programs will adapt to the new technology. Following the presentation of the technological tools, the current state of Brazilian television is discussed, focusing on two nationally broadcast programs, Jornal da Band on Bandeirantes channel and Jornal da Record on Record channel. As a case study, three editions of each show are evaluated with an individual and comparative analysis. Following the analyses, perspectives on the future of television journalism in the digital TV age are given. Additionally, the possibilities for interaction between the TV viewer and the channel and the forms of interaction that may exist within particular programs are discussed, thus allowing for active participation from the part of the viewer. The newly developed functions of journalists in the digital age are also broken down in the research. In order to gain a full understanding of the phases of this process of technological convergence and how programs will adapt to these tools, interviews with professionals who work in the production of televised news programs are conducted in the study

This paper presents a study based on literature and examples found on literature of the potential of petroleum gas to be used as a primary source to generate electricity. The steady increase electricity demand in Brazil makes desirable an effective use of all available primary sources, combined with this need the momentum of the country with the discovery of the presalt reserves becomes interesting the use of this gas, often wasted, for generating electricity. The electricity generation in this work is illustrated by the cogeneration in oil refining plants that have the combined cycle thermal operation. The ultimate goal is to provide a text to identify the advantages, disadvantages and trends of this type of generation

Musculoskeletal injuries that occur in horses during sports activities are often disabling and require a long period of treatment and rehabilitation, most resulting in scar tissue, predisposing to recurrence. In search of more effective therapies and tissue regeneration, studies have been carried out with blood derivatives - platelet rich plasma and autologous conditioned serum. In spite of both being blood-derived therapies, platelet rich plasma and autologous conditioned serum are distinct products, with equally distinct indications for their use. Platelet rich plasma shows promising results in ligament and tendon injuries in clinical and experimental trials. This occurs also in osteoarticular lesions with both hemoderivates, autologous conditioned serum and platelet rich plasma. This review aims to present clinical and experimental studies (in vivo and in vitro) in the equine species, as an aid for an appropriate therapeutic choice, when hemoderivates are considered for treatment of musculoskeletal lesions.

Cosmetics have been used since ancient times and, recently, their consumption has increased greatly in many countries, including brazil, which is the third largest consumer market in the world. Thus, concern for the safety and efficacy of these products should be heightened, even though these products are rarely related to adverse reactions that damage the health. Brazilian law requires manufacturers to subject their products to safety testing, to assess the possible reactions that could be caused by them (irritation, sensitization, systemic effects). To this end, in general, animals have been used as the experimental model, but this practice is being increasingly controlled, so that the scientific community is looking for alternative tests that do not require experimental in vivo models. Thus, this review aims to describe the main biological assays used to assess the safety of cosmetics, as well as in vitro assays that can replace them.

O presente trabalho analisa as tendências apontadas pela configuração de uma sociedade pós-industrial colocando em cheque o atual modelo de TV aberta no Brasil. Com isto, toda relação entre a televisão e a audiência está se reconfigurando e estratégias estão surgindo na tentativa de se manter os mesmos níveis de recepção da TV analógica. Este artigo busca chamar a atenção para estas transformações e sua relação com a nova audiência.

Once the use of historical data serves as an articulator of senses in journalistic narratives, this article proposes to study the cases in which the discursive constructions of the future are structured from the evocation of the past. It is possible to discern how images of the future built on stories parting from the past is related to a specific conception of history and how this history is seen, by journalism, as a repository of examples enrolled in a temporal continuum and fixed as a judging instance able to measure and anticipate the future consequences.

Digital Television offers a resolution of highdefinition images and the possibility of interaction with the user. There is an estimate that by 2018 all municipalities in Brazil have digital signal availability and thus there will be a wide spread of Ginga. Ginga is a technology developed for digital television, which runs between the operating system and yours applications. However, the extensive use of Smart TVs would invalidate this technology? This article to cast a look on the topic, arousing reflection that effect and seeking bring issues that link the advantages and disadvantages of the two technologies, considering the current situation of Digital TV in Brazil.
