This text presents some reflections about the educational and virtual processes of mathematics teachers drawing on research on the theme. Thus, in this text, considering our experiences with the development of online courses, we discuss issues such as collaboration in virtual environments, which contributes to more effective results in collaborative learning and reduces the potential of isolation of student/teacher that can occur in virtual environments. Through collaborative learning in a virtual community, students/teachers have the opportunity to practice and think in-depth about their learning experiences by sharing new ideas with the group and receiving critical and constructive feedback. Moreover, the virtuality formed by the environment of online courses supports educational spaces for teachers who teach mathematics. Thus, collaboration emerges as an essential element for construction of meanings and for sharing experiences on the practice of teaching.

Strategies and resources are primary to the participation of students with visual impairments in physical education classes. The objective of this study was to plan teaching strategies and resource adaptations focusing on educational inclusion of students with visual impairment based on the activities held in the Curriculum Proposal for São Paulo State. Three steps were outlined from the analysis of the Proposal: 1) identify the subjects for each bimester, 2) analyze the teacher's book in terms of learning situations and their development, and 3) plan educational strategies and resource adaptations. Ten teaching strategies were planned, four new resources were indicated and two teaching resources were adapted for the classes. The activities of the Curriculum Proposal allow strategy planning aimed at the participation of students with visual disabilities together with students without disabilities.

The primary objective of this article is to analyze situations with discursive interactions in math classrooms, which may prompt student's understanding of teacher's speech. To analyze the situations with discursive interactions, this study used elements from Bakhtin's theory of language, mainly its concept of comprehension, and introduces the new concept of intermediate comprehension . The data used in a qualitative approach were collected from class observation through video-recorded lessons. The results showed three situations with discursive interactions that contribute to understanding of the school teacher's speech: 1) speech referring to everyday situations; 2) the teacher's speech math in a less rigorous way 3) teacher comparing different mathematical objects.

The computer is present in everyday school life and using it with educational software must be mediated and planned in order for this resource to contribute to student learning, including those with intellectual disabilities (ID). Therefore, the aim was to propose specific computer activities for students with ID using educational software, and to quantify and analyze the technical and pedagogical strategies used. The participants were six students with ID enrolled in two public schools. To collect information we used observation protocols and a field journal. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively, based on the concepts of mediation and the zone of proximal development of cultural-historical theory. The results indicated that when the content developed in the computer classes were compatible with the proposed activities in the classroom, students with ID had opportunities to experience different activities that enable them to be successful. We noted that what enabled them to understand and correctly perform the proposed activities were the teaching strategies. Thus, we consider that technical knowledge about educational software and pedagogical knowledge about content that is being worked on, are insufficient to ensure that the proposed activity will contribute to the development of students with ID.

In this research we identified and compared the representations of teachers and students on teaching and learning. The objective was to determine which aspects of these representations correspond to subjects and if they differ between students with high and low academic performance. Data collection was organized through a semi-structured interview. The study included twenty teachers and forty students in the 5th year of elementary school municipal public metropolitan region of Campinas. The responses from the interviews were categorized and analyzed by using the Fisher exact test, chi-square and Proportions. The results show that teachers and students present a partial view of the factors involved in teaching and learning. The learning process is understood as an individual and social factor. Teachers and students with high performance positively represent the environment of the classroom, unlike the students with lower academic performance.
