O mito de Ulisses em Se questo è un uomo

Este trabalho parte do mito de Ulisses retomado por Dante e se concentra na leitura feita por Levi do canto dantesco , bem como da (re) elaboração da última aventura do herói grego no contexto da história pessoal do escritor. Trata-se de um moderno Ulisses apresentando uma visão moderna do Inferno. Em Dante, Ulisses está entre as almas condenadas a pagar eternamente seus pecados e, ao mesmo tempo, testemunhas e narradores, capazes de contar o processo da própria morte. Neste sentido, o viajante grego tornou-se , a partir da publicação da obra de memória do Holocausto escrita por Primo Levi, o símbolo do testemunho dos campos de concentração. O exemplo clássico da presença de Dante na narrativa de Levi é o capítulo XI do livro Se questo è un uomo , intitulado “Il canto di Ulisse”, onde prosa e poesia se encontram. O mito de Ulisses, que representa a exaltação do homem inteligente, ávido de conhecimento, que chega às portas do grande mistério da existência humana torna-se, em Levi, um instrumento didático. Recitar uma poesia assume, no universo do campo de concentração, o valor de um ato político e humano, uma afirmação coletiva dos valores que aquele sistema pretendia destruir.

Experiência, infância e cuidado de si: desafios aos atuais saberes e práticas escolares

This paper deals with the problem of experience and its possible languages between school knowledge and practices. Its objective is to find the different possibilities of thinking the experience in the educational praxis, based on the contemporary philosophical categories of event and childhood as well as on the genres of poetic language and testimony. In order to do so, it is reconstructed a genealogy of the transformation of educational praxis into pedagogical art in its relationships with childhood whether as a government goal or as a subject, revealing the domination states that constitute them and pointing out their potential of resistance to the actual one. It is also stated that this event breaks into in the aesthetic dimension of experience and concurs in order to interrupt the order of discourse, making subjects of educational praxis think about it and causing care of oneself to become an ethic attitude put together with an aesthetics of experience. Thus, this research aims at restoring the dignity of experience among school knowledge and practices.

Estudo de comunidades de foraminíferos em manguezal do Rio Itapanhaú, Bertioga-SP, aplicado à reconstrução paleoambiental

Foraminifera scientific studies became, historically, of your apply in relative dating of rocks, stratigraphic correlations and paleoenvironmental reconstruction. In the last decades, they have been applied on the studies of modern ecosystems, with or without antrhopic influence. Both aspects are interest of petroleum industry. Among other approaches, foraminífera are used as good indicators of the fluctuation of relative sea level. This study aimed to survey and taxonomic study of the community structure of foraminifera in surface samples of a core, 60 cm, collected in mangrove located in Itapanhaú river in Bertioga (SP).It also aims to contribute to the discussion about typical patterns of community structure of mangrove margins and provide elements for discussion on the relative sea level behavior in this area in almost modern times. It was been collected 6 samples along the core of 60 cm of length, each one 10 cm depth. They were made in laboratory and in each sample sought to find at least 100 foraminifera per ml. The species identification was made with reference specified material and collection available on IGCE-UNESPetro, Rio Claro. The community structure was studied in terms of richness, diversity and species composition and was made the results comparison from similar areas to interpret the depositional environment. Were found 21 species within them 13 calcareous and 8 binders, being the most abundant and frequent species Ammonia tepida, Ammonia parkinsoniana e Elphidium spp. Essentially there wasn’t change in the community structure within the period covered by the core which reflects an environment of outer margin of mangrove without noticeable change in relative sea level at the respective time of deposition of muddy sediments. Coroa da terra: a poesia como (re)criação do mundo

This monograph is aimed at reflecting the internal structure of the book Coroa da Terra (1946), the Portuguese poet Jorge de Sena (1919-1978), investigating for this, the guiding criteria for the ordering of poems. Starting from a question posed by an author paratext, we considered the possibility that the book is constituted as a unit of poetic path, in which each poem comprises a stretch of the pilgrimage undertaken by the poet toward the crown of the Earth. Moreover, from the epigraph of the book and the Preface (1960) of 1st edition of Poesia I (1961), we consider the idea that the Coroa da Terra is a search for truth, or even that the pilgrimage made by the poet is on the trail of a poetic word conscious and therefore ethically responsible. This search would set the poetic language of testimony, from which derive two other important vectors for the exegesis of poetry seniana: metamorphosis and pilgrimage. Upholding the unity of the book would be the language in dialectical flow as a formal procedure, which enables the poet be an expression in constant motion. To check the validity of our hypothesis, we conducted an analysis of four poems in sequential order (―Purgatório‖, ―Suma Teológica‖, ―Os trabalhos e os dias‖, ―Espiral‖). To them, it was added to analyze the poem ―Metamorfose‖, poem 23rd of the Coroa da Terra, which acted as a reference point and as close to the research by presenting a character's thought seniano synthesis. It was found that the idea of unity is sustained when we consider Coroa da Terra as a journey of formative poetic direction

This article investigates the universe of women seasonal farm workers, more precisely those women laborers who take the so-called truck, in the newspaper chronicle “Th e Seasonal Farm Workers’ Express” (1976) and the short story “Th e funny face of fear”(1978), both by the journalist and creative writer Murilo Carvalho. Th e hypothesis is that these two narratives, in which the theme is the truck accident, can be classifi ed as testimonial literature.
