Pluralidade cultural e educação física: elaboração de material didático

In 1997, the National Curriculum Parameters (BRASIL, 1997a) proposed the incorporation of the Transversal Themes in all of the knowledge areas. Specifically in the School Physical Education, the teacher working with transversality must stabilish bridges between the body culture practice with these themes. Promote this relationship is not a simple task and there are many problems that stuck the advance of this propose. So, thinking about making didactical formulat teaching stragies and think about the development of their practice. Another challenge is considerate as a beginning in the pedagogic activity the student’s knowledge and experience, as listening during the process of knowledge construction. In this way, the aim of this research is investigate the 8th and 9th grade of the primary school students conception about Cultural Plurality. After this, using the information taken gron the students, we are going to present subisidies to make a textbook, for the teachers and for students, with Physical Education activities possibilies with this Transversal Theme. Keeping in mind the aim of this research, we used the semi-structed interview as a instrument of data collection. The interview was made with 30 students of the 8th and 9th grade the primary school from two statual schools of Rio Claro city. The procediments were executed following the ethics comite requirements. In other to associate the Cultural Plurality with Physical Education, dance and physical adventure activities contents were selected. The results showed that the students know few thinks about this Transversal Themes, because they had apoor knowledge, according to National Curriculum Parameters. In scholar environment and Physical Education classes, there are many cases of prejudice and discrimination, mostly by the leack of ability. Sexualidade e orientação sexual na escola em foco: algumas reflexões sobre a formação de professores

This article discusses the training of teachers to work with sexuality issues in regular school environment after the creation of the National Curriculum (PCNs) in 1997. The authors note that over a decade there have been no official regular and systematic initiatives or incentives to provide teachers with sex education disciplines at undergraduate level in Pedagogy, Teachers’ Training, Continuing Education or Initial Training courses, with rare exceptions. Generally the work with sexuality and sex education carry with it some coadjutors such as ignorance, prejudice, taboo and discrimination. In this way, if teachers are prepared to approach the field, they will experience a significant gain in performance and in the psycho-social development of their students, as well as work in a process of citizenship education.

Educação para a sexualidade na formação de professores na modalidade de ensino a distância: a utilização de um objeto educacional

In inclusive school there are many students and some with disabilities. One of the dimensions of human development of all people's is the sexuality, although there are erroneous beliefs about the relationship sexuality and disability. Teachers must be prepared to deal with the sexuality of their students with disabilities in school, and proposals of education in the form of distance education has been an alternative to the training. This article relate an educational proposal for teachers, linked to a part of the activities undertaken in the discipline "Human Development and Family" on a course of specialization in Special Education in Distance Education mode. Describes an educational object named "Game: challenges and actions in school" , that presented four situations on behaviors involving sexuality of students: question about sexuality, masturbation in the classroom, dating from students and discrimination an obese colleague. In each one, there was potential actions to the teachers choose and, consequently, its unfolding. The choice of actions would lead to the end of a "teacher profile", offering reflections. Teachers reported positive unsolicited comments about the content of the game. It is concluded that the proposal is an important educational tool used in the Virtual Learning Environment that can assist in teacher training courses in sexuality education.

Importância da abordagem precoce no tratamento odontológico de pacientes portadores de necessidades especiais.

Introduction: the patients with specials necessities ne ed a singular dentistry treatment because they have limitations due to theirs deficiency. The quality of oral health is related to the clinical situation of patient. The individuals with motor and understanding problems have poor oral health. Aim: this st udy aimed to review the literature about the importance of the early dentistry treatment of pacients with specials necessities. Methodology: the review of literature was made through t he Pubmed and Bireme. Studies about dental caries and periodontal dise a se of patient s with specials necessities had shown high index of caries and periodontal disease. Therefore it is important that there are capacity p rofessionals and multidisciplinary treatment. It is necessary to supply the dificulties of treatment like an xiety of parents, systemic problems and discrimination. Conclusion: the early treatment results in good coperation during the treatment, and the aquisition of cares for all life. The best way is a program of oral health with instructions about diet, oral hygiene, control of bacterials, motivation and interaction between patients and professionals.

Homofobia familiar: abrindo o armário entre quatro paredes

Sexuality device authorizes families to become the guardians of its members’ sexuality, ensuring the exclusion of any kind of dissidence from heteronormativity by means of reinforcement of homophobia. This paper presents the analyses of female participants who are dissident of heteronormativity. They were accessed through snow-ball technique and were interviewed. After transcribing their interviews, the researcher produced narratives of their lives with were corroborated with the participants. Data were analyzed from a poststructuralist perspective. By then, we privileged the study of the manifestation of homophobia in the family, developing a genealogy of their detractors effects, but also highlighting modes of resistance to it. This locus of manifestation of homophobia, obscured by the intimacy of the private world, is still a fairly discussed topic in national studies and maximizes the damage caused by discrimination in macro social spaces. We pointed out, then, family as an important target of action for public policies which aim the protection of human and civil rights, as well as all kinds of violence and discrimination.

A arqueogenealogia como ferramenta de pesquisa no campo da atenção psicossocial

The aim of this paper is present the archeogenealogy perspective, inspired on Michel Foucault’s theoretical-philosophical proposal, as a research tool for social psychology, more speciically for the ield of Psychosocial Attention. For that, we carry out a theoretical-conceptual problematization about the main concepts that sustain this research perspective, namely: history, power, knowledge and truth. We also present some possible articulations with the Psychosocial Attention proposals. Thus, we aimed, to strengthen the epistemological research with an important tool for the problematization of absolute truths, the hegemonic discourses, the stigma and bias that compose the social imaginary on the mental health ield and of psychological suffering.

Lesbianidades e as referências legitimadoras da sexualidade

This article is part of a master's degree dissertation that studied the way as stigmas and stereotypes regarding lesbianity influence the life, in the sphere of the sexuality, of women that denominate themselves as lesbians, resident in a city in the interior of the State of São Paulo. The stigma here analyzed is that lesbians are women that frustrated with men. We tried to show, through the narratives of the research s participants and basing on gender and feminist studies, how the heteronormativist system naturalizes the masculinity to the men and the sexuality in the masculinity, and how it legitimates speeches about lesbian woman through the heterosexual referential. Also, we tried to show some strategies of the biopoder for the maintenance of that system and, starting from interviews in depth, we presented how the participants of the research (lesbian women) make speeches on that stigma and how they re-significate it through their own narratives. Multiculturalismo, diversidade cultural e cotidiano escolar: uma análise da temática em filmes de escola

This work has as its theme the multiculturalism, cultural diversity and their reflections in school everyday, more specifically on the interactions between the various subjects and social groups that make up a school and the teacher as mediator of the relationship between these guys. The theme Multiculturalism refers in the first instance, to the theoretical movement beginning in the mid-20th century in the United States and that spreads in the Western world as a way of tackling the conflicts generated depending on the economic issues, policies, and, in particular, cultural-ethnic, in an attempt to combat discrimination and prejudice, given the difficulties of individuals and groups to welcome and socialize with the plurality and cultural differences (SILVA; BRANDIM, 2008).At the same time, multiculturalism refers to cultural studies, through the Centre for Contemporary cultural studies, founded by em1964 Hoggart, and connected to the English language Department of the University of Birmingham in England.In contemporary times, due to the phenomenon of globalization and public policy to challenge prejudice and discrimination the subjects and social groups, regardless of color, creed, ethnicity, sexual orientation and nationality, this theme has been recurring in order to recognize plural identities and ensure and directly affects the school as a place of cultural diversity and conflicts generated by the very diversity.The present work aims to analyze and understand how the issue of multiculturalism and cultural diversity in school films. Our study will be based theoretically in Cultural Studies authors and uses the qualitative approach, working with movie content analysis of school, seeking to seize on the same relations of coexistence, conflicts and the mediations of teachers

Percepção de pacientes HIV-positivos de um centro de referência em relação a tratamento de saúde

Introduction: health professionals, in many cases, have defensive and exclusionary practices, patterns of prejudice and discrimination in response to HIVpositive patients. Objective: to verify the perception of patients seropositives from a reference center for STD/HIV/aids in relation to health care. Methods: there were interviews with questions related to discriminatory attitudes suffered, access and health care. Results: 130 individuals participated in the survey, from which 30 (23.1%) reported events of discrimination suffered outside the center of reference, predominantly from surgeon-dentists and 112 (86.2%) believed to have the same access and health care as other citizens. 62 (47.7%) treated with the dental center of reference, of which 56 (90.3%) felt good being treated in a dental unit only for HIV positive and six (9.7%) were indifferent, believed to be more exposed, or have a bias to attend dental seropositive individuals. Conclusion: it is concluded that many patients have already been discriminated against outside the reference center. However, most of them have a positive feeling towards the treatment received at a specifi c place for treating HIV-positive patients, due to the feeling of being welcome at that place due to the humanization and access to health care.

O processo de escolarização de crianças surdas no ensino fundamental: um olhar para o ensino de ciências articulado aos fundamentos da astronomia

The study of the parental educative social skills is extremely important for promoting the development and learning of children within interactive situations. The objective of this study was to assess reliability and validity of the Parental Educative Social Skills Interview Script (RE-HSE-P). It was proceeded: a) the test-retest reliability assessment, with a sample of 41 participants assessed in two distinct moments, with an interval of two months and the Cronbach's alpha was calculated; b) 213 parents of preschoolers (n =114) and school age children (n = 98) evaluated their children,were assessed for the construct and discrimination validity studies, differentiated in groups: a) demand for psychological intervention x community children without problems and b) children with behavior problems x children without behavior problems. The results showed satisfactory values of internal consistency and validity; besides, the factorial analysis pointed a unifactorial structure called positive parent-child interaction

Role-playing como estratégia facilitadora da análise funcional em contexto clínico

In behavioral therapy several techniques are used, among them the role-playing and functional analysis. Role-playing is feasible to model relevant behaviors while functional analysis is used for diagnostic evaluation and to produce self-knowledge. However, some clinical problems have characteristics that hinder the creation of self-knowledge, without which the client may not develop the modeling of alternative repertoires. This study aims to illustrate the combination of role-playing and functional analysis as a procedure to facilitate the development of self-awareness in clients with deficits in discrimination of functional relations and interpersonal difficulties. A session was selected from a total of 12 group meetings. The main result was the increase of self-revelations and discrimination of functional relationships by customers. It is concluded that the role-playing can be an environment to teach the client to describe functional relations and produce self-knowledge when facing interpersonal problems and difficulties on the discrimination of the actual contingencies in place.

p-iodophenol-enhanced luminol chemiluminescent assay applied to discrimination between acute lymphoblastic and minimally differentiated acute myeloid (FAB-M0) or acute megakaryoblastic (FAB-M7) leukemias

Introduction: In this report, we propose the application of the p-iodophenol-enhanced luminol chemiluminescent technique to the determination of peroxidase (myeloperoxidase and/or platelet peroxidase) activity in blasts of minimally differentiated acute myeloblastic leukemia (AML-M0) and acute megakaryoblastic leukemia (AML-M7).Methods: the frozen blast cells from 29 patients were thawed and submitted to the optimized protocol.Results: All cases of AML-M7 and AML-M0 exhibited integrated light emission greater than 73 (10(2) mV x s), which was the arbitrary cutoff point set for the discrimination between AML and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) (mean + 3 x s.d. of ALL samples, n = 10). In addition, five out of seven cases of AML-M0 showed results above the Cutoff point.Conclusion: This highly sensitive enhanced chemiluminescent technique may be applied to discriminate between ALL and AML-M7 or AML-M1 cases, and most AML-M0 cases. It is very simple, cheap and easy to perform compared to other procedures used to measure MPO activity in AML-leukemias including AML-M7 and AML-M0.

Experimental discrimination between charge 2e/3 top quark and charge 4e/3 exotic quark production scenarios

We present the first experimental discrimination between the 2e/3 and 4e/3 top quark electric charge scenarios, using top quark pairs (t (t) over bar) produced in p (p) over bar collisions at root s =1.96 TeV by the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. We use 370 pb(-1) of data collected by the D0 experiment and select events with at least one high transverse momentum electron or muon, high transverse energy imbalance, and four or more jets. We discriminate between b- and (b) over bar -quark jets by using the charge and momenta of tracks within the jet cones. The data are consistent with the expected electric charge, |q|=2e/3. We exclude, at the 92% C.L., that the sample is solely due to the production of exotic quark pairs Q (Q) over bar with |q|=4e/3. We place an upper limit on the fraction of Q (Q) over bar pairs rho < 0.80 at the 90% C.L.
