This paper has as subject autism, and sought to verify how the process of teaching and learning of students with autism occurs in a special education school. The Infantile Autism is today sorted as one of the “Global Developmental Disorders (PDD)” and is characterized by a severe and global impairment in several areas of development, such as reciprocal social interaction skills, communication skills and presence of stereotypic behavior, interests and activities. This study aimed to identify the teaching methodology used with adolescents with autism in special education and see in what ways this methodology assists in the teaching and learning of these students. To this end, participated in this study a teacher, expert in this issue, and three students with autism in a Special Education School located within the State of São Paulo. For data collection, 19 observations of activities performed by students with autism in the classroom were conducted and a semi-structured interview with the specialized teacher was applied. The results revealed that the teacher mentioned above does not use any specific teaching methodology to assist in the teaching and learning of these students, although there are some specific methodologies for individuals with autism, which are used in special education schools. Thus, there is a gap in the teaching process on the part of the teacher and an uncertainty about the learning process of these students with autism in this institution.

The aim of this study was to identify and analyze the conceptions of a group of teachers in cycle-1 elementary school on intellectual disability and assessment of school learning. It is a qualitative research that used a semi-structured interview script for its investigation. The teachers' reports showed some weakness and lack of preparation to deal with the inclusion of pupils with intellectual disabilities, and consequently difficult to assess their learning conditions. It was also found that the assessment used by them was characterized by sluggish and it was based mainly on the use of quantitative measuring instruments. Such instruments shortly guide the process of teaching and learning, consequently do not contribute to effective the inclusion of these school students.

In this paper we discuss the importance of a methodological perspective of solving problems as a sustaining process of teaching mathematics situated on the perspective of concept formation. Organizing a significant didactic situation for students imposes the need to study the interaction between them and the teacher and between them and their mathematical knowledge, learning environment in which the mere transmission of content gives way to contextualization, to historicizing and handling of topics from intuitive and everyday situations for the student. Thus, we understand mathematics as a fundamental language for the creation of theoretical thinking as a whole. We made use of documental analysis and classroom situations aiming at the use of instructional procedure related to the resolution of problems with the purpose of overcoming some representations about the process of teaching and learning mathematics which is strongly marked by imitative-repetitive algorithmic procedures. Considering mathematics as an investigation discipline, we point out renewal prospects for the curricula of this discipline, which are concrete in the movement of cultural action of the school itself as the cell generating discussion.

The individuals, mostly born biologically prepared to develop the many different aspects: cognitive, motor and affective, however, only the biological factor doesn’t possible the full development of these. Theories of the different types of knowledge about the process of teaching and learning and your relation with the affective-cognitive aspects intend explain how this individual can to evolve completely. This end of course work presupposes that the interactions of the individual with the physical and civil are essential to the development of learning. In this sense, the educational institution understood as a socializing environment and disseminator of knowledge, historically accumulated, will be then a space where affectivity and learning should be at least theoretically, favored by the relations that are established inside the same. So, the research presented in this study, have how objective, show how to set in the practice educational the relation between affect and learning considering the observations, interviews that search to highlight real situations, where are confirmed a relation between processes. The subject of research will be a teacher, undergraduate student in chemistry and public school students that the teaching units developed will be applied. The literature presents a large of research indicating the need to include these topics in education and present the results of large withdrawals of original sources of the development of scientific knowledge. Despite of the large number of these works are not very common reports of application of the results of these studies on activities of the classroom, which reinforces the importance of this study

Dissolution representations in Chemistry textbooks: the case of PNLEM. In Chemistry education, so as in other sciences, the use of images is fundamental in the process of teaching and learning. By virtue of this, the textbooks can be a vehicle of such importance, therefore contributing with many images and representations. In this context, the present work has as objective to promote the analysis of the six books approved by the “Programa Nacional do Livro do Ensino Médio, (PNLEM)”, being the main subject of investigation, the dissolution phenomena. Although the recognized importance of opperate in the theoretical and conceptual level to understand chemistry phenomena, our results suggest the need of greater reflection concerning the emphasis attributed to this hability. And so, this paper has as purpose contributing in the reflection of the professor during the choice and use of the LDs and in the process of evaluation of the same.
