What is known today as Oral History is a research methodology which, in Brazil, has been widely used in the field of cultural studies by sociologists, anthropologists, and historians. Oral History was first introduced in Brazil with studies in social psychology and then spread to many other academic spheres, with the field of mathematics education being one of the most recent to adopt this method as one of its theoretical-methodological references. Topics such What Oral History is and How Oral History can be implemented in mathematics education are the foci of this paper.

The purpose of this study is to present the audiences perspectives at the cultural Britannics view. It presents a bibliographical discussion about the mass medium communication and the audiences purpose at the studies of the culturalist chain (flow). Additionally, it emphasizes the cultural studies contribution, at a particular point of view, about the audiences cultural practices when proposing the analyses and reflections on the basis of the relationship among culture, society and history.

his article is the result of an empirical research on the technology and market development resulting from the deployment of Digital TV in Brazil. Two aspects were selected to discuss the proposed question: the economic and political motivations that led to the digitization of broadcast TV in Brazil and the preliminary analysis of the effects on popularization of cyberculture in the Brazilian audiovisual scenario, changes can be observed in the production, dissemination and enjoyment of audiovisual content. For the development of the analysis the following theoretical and analytical tools were used: Theory Empirical Approach (Wolf, 1987), the Cultural Studies (Zallo, 1988; 1992), the digitalization media process (Lemos), the transition from television to cyberculture studies (Manovich, 2005) and (Fechine, 2013).

This paper reports the stage of a research on the corporate identity in commercial buildings. The objective of the research is to develop a system that aims to help the designer to enhance the transmission of the brand identity on the construction. At this step, we looked for the ascertainment of the variables that contribute to it in buildings considered as icons of brand identification in the building. And this paper also presents an analysis of a flagship located in Tokyo, from the Dior brand, which we used Surface Design techniques, combining cultural studies to geometric modeling, to Gestalt and Semiotics.
