Neste artigo discutimos a quest��o da viol��ncia escolar �� luz do referencial te��rico do imagin��rio. A quest��o do imagin��rio a respeito da institui����o escolar �� analisada face a algumas caracter��sticas da sociedade atual apontadas por diferentes autores tais como Sennett, (2006), Taylor(2006), Baumann ( 2005). S��o apresentados alguns dados da pesquisa realizada com os professores de duas do interior do Estado de S��o Paulo, dando-se destaque para o imagin��rio sobre a escola e as rela����es que se estabelecem nesse contexto. Esta pesquisa teve como metodologia de coleta de dados a realiza����o de uma din��mica de grupo. Conclu��mos chamando a aten����o para a import��ncia de que os estudos sobre viol��ncia escolar busquem elucidar os diferentes aspectos institucionais focando n��o somente os alunos e a fam��lia dos mesmos, mas as intera����es que se processam no interior da escola. A an��lise institucional que enfoque os aspectos micro e macro social pode contribuir para que a escola consiga enfrentar os problemas em uma perspectiva mais realista, buscando caminhos no pr��prio grupo em intera����o explicitando barreiras que s��o interpostas pelo imagin��rio institucional.

Para ler nos caminhos de ferro: o Almanach Litterario de S��o Paulo (1876-1885)

Analiso, neste artigo, a circula����o do Almanach Litter��rio de S��o Paulo, peri��dico editado anualmente de 1876 a 1885, com a exce����o de 1882 e 1883. A abordagem inclui o quadro de autores, os g��neros de textos publicados e suas principais tem��ticas. O trabalho com a fonte permite compreender a forma����o da sociedade letrada paulista nas ��ltimas d��cadas do s��culo XIX.

Educa����o contempor��nea - caminhos, obst��culos e travessias, organizado por Arilda In��s Miranda Ribeiro, Irineu Aliprando Tuim Viotto Filho, Monica F��rkotter e Yoshie Ussami Ferrari Leite, �� um comp��ndio de artigos que indicam rumos para se discutir e praticar m��todos educacionais mais humanizados na era contempor��nea. Formadores em cursos de licenciatura e projetos de desenvolvimento profissional de professores, os autores saem do lugar comum ao falar de assuntos complexos como viol��ncia e indisciplina, educa����o sexual, religi��o, uso de tecnologias no ensino e pol��ticas p��blicas para educa����o infantil. No caso de viol��ncia e indisciplina, por exemplo, que a maioria das disserta����es acad��micas aborda como se fossem problemas exclusivos das escolas p��blicas, embora ocorram igualmente nas particulares, os autores lembram que n��o se pode dizer que sejam quest��o, unicamente, de ordem econ��mica e social. O livro sugere que h�� uma perspectiva de mudan��a do mundo contempor��neo, uma vez que a educa����o representa uma possibilidade real de transforma����o da condi����o humana e da realidade objetiva, ainda que n��o seja a ��nica.

Tecendo caminhos: a identidade do microempreendedor t��xtil em Franca/SP

Tra��ar a identidade do microempreendedor da ��rea t��xtil da cidade paulista de Franca, analisando as suas especificidades, seu car��ter inovador e os reflexos de suas atividades no espa��o coletivo �� o desafio a que se prop��s o pesquisador Mateus Beordo. Ele mostra nesta obra que o ramo de confec����es emergiu da crise da ind��stria cal��adista, tradicional na cidade e atrelada �� hist��ria de seu desenvolvimento econ��mico (Franca firmou-se como importante polo de cal��ados a partir dos anos 1930). Desde a d��cada de 1990, no entanto, com o processo de globaliza����o e a abertura do mercado brasileiro, a ind��stria cal��adista viu-se em dificuldades diante da concorr��ncia internacional. Com o conhecimento obtido na produ����o de cal��ados, por��m, mulheres passaram a montar microconfec����es em suas resid��ncias, j�� que a atividade exigia baixos investimentos iniciais - em geral, bastava adquirir uma m��quina de costura, tecidos e outros artefatos para a montagem e modelagem de lingeries. E o que era, a princ��pio, uma simples alternativa de renda familiar, foi ganhando vulto: hoje parte da produ����o das microempres��rias �� exportada para Europa, Estados Unidos e Jap��o. De acordo com o autor, o estudo permitiu n��o somente a identifica����o do car��ter empreendedor das microempres��rias da ��rea t��xtil de Franca, como uma reflex��o sobre suas condi����es de vida e trabalho, por meio de seus problemas concretos, potencialidades e estrat��gias

A precariza����o do trabalho: migrantes nordestinos no munic��pio de Leme-SP : caminhos, estradas e sonhos

This paper aims to examine the genesis of migration to the city of Leme-SP, as well as the influence of the social matrix northeastern expansion and redevelopment through the territorialization of the migrant population, particularly workers from the state of Cear��, migration from the 1970s. This process is evidenced by the territorial division of labor, through the economic, political and cultural insecurity through the work of cutting sugar cane, the territoriality of culture and northeastern faith in the city, and becomes another object before the materiality in which occurs. In this aspect, through dialogue between the sciences and arts, it was possible to show the historical importance of the phenomenon of migration in the country, in different scales and relationship that encompasses everything and everyone

Rela����es P��blicas: o articulador dos relacionamentos na cultura da converg��ncia

The purpose of this research project is to analyze the Convergence Culture, a term coined by Henry Jenkins, to refer to the cultural transformation we are experiencing - people want to produce their own content, share their stories, expand their experiences and make connections to different platforms media. That is, individuals have changed their position once considered passive and accommodating to sustain an environment of intense involvement, construction and collective pursuit of new experiences. So that we could reach that culture converged, there was a paradigm shift from an asymmetric communication for communication increasingly bilateral. In this new scenario, communication to different audiences is based on a participatory and collaborative model in which organizations do not have absolute control over the media message. Therefore, this study tried to demonstrate what steps to be followed by public relations in convergence culture

Desenvolvimento de um sistema para navega����o de rob��s m��veis por caminhos em planta����es

The use of mobile robots in the agriculture turns out to be interesting in tasks of cultivation and application of pesticides in minute quantities to reduce environmental pollution. In this paper we present the development of a system to control an autonomous mobile robot navigation through tracks in plantations. Track images are used to control robot direction by preprocessing them to extract image features, and then submitting such characteristic features to a support vector machine to find out the most appropriate route. As the overall goal of the project to which this work is connected is the robot control in real time, the system will be embedded onto a hardware platform. However, in this paper we report the software implementation of a support vector machine, which so far presented around 93% accuracy in predicting the appropriate route.

Mem��ria ambiental, cultural e turismo no vale hist��rico do Rio Para��ba do Sul: design de uma pesquisa

This text is aimed at disseminating cultural and environmental wealth of a region little known of major tour operators - which is strongly marked by historical traditions, in a bucolic rural still and by the hospitality of its residents. The Historic Valley of Rio Para��ba do Sul, although located in the Rio - Sao Paulo road lives in the shadow of the remarkable progress of the industrial cities in the main Valley. This paper presents results of research that deepened the knowledge of this region, with notable findings from the standpoint of culture and tourism, regional and national history. Isolated by considerable geographical barriers, this region has two aspects: the rebirth of nature after the decline of coffee plantations, with ecological sanctuaries that can now point toward environmental sustainability, and the formation of a culture with two historical times - refinement inherited from the barons coffee, paradoxically linked to the rustic countryside and modernity derived of its proximity to major centers. The results presented here are part of exploratory research, but were presented at different events, emphasizing the baroque character of practices derived from these two historical times and tourist potential related to the ���cultura tropeira��� and to hospitality that marks this countryside.

O mercado da TV digital: cultura, tecnologia e pol��tica

This article aims to map the development of the market of digital TV in Brazil, under the aspect of the relation among culture, technology and politics. We start with a history of analog TV, since its inception, showing matrices of Brazilian TV. Then we try to show current conditions of the TV market in the country, its ambiguous relation with the internet and the possible ways for survival of open digital TV: respect for cultural diversity, the observation of the habits acquired from other media, the consistent use of digital language and the modifi cation of public policies in favor of the collective and not protectionism of large private communication companies.

Pesquisa etnogr��fica com crian��as: caminhos te��rico-metodol��gicos

This paper discusses methodological issues in educational research with young children. It approaches qualitative ethnographic research, highlighting participant observation as one of the most appropriate strategies for research developed in schools for children in the first two years of basic education, in other words, students between six and seven years old. It is suggested that ethnographic research and participant observation can diminish the differences between observer (adult) and observed (kids), when considering the peer culture in childhood , allowing the researcher to insert itself in a more properly way on a cultural reality of a given group. Furthermore, it is necessary to respect ethical principles, consider the specificities of young children and use various strategies to generate empirical data in order to enable them to participate more actively in educational research in which the object of study is childhood. Thus, young children could be recognized as producers of knowledge and subject of the investigative process.
