Este estudo tem o objetivo de apresentar uma análise do conto “Fleurs de Ténèbres” publicado na obra Contes cruels (1883) de Villiers de l’Isle-Adam (1838-1889). O trabalho visa, ainda, de forma particular, destacar elementos que permitem apontar relações de aproximação entre o conto villieriano e os poemas em prosa “La corde” e “Le tir et le cimetière” de Charles Baudelaire. Com efeito, a influência baudelairiana na escritura de Villiers de l’Isle-Adam diz respeito tanto aos procedimentos estilísticos quanto ao idealismo filosófico.

The Doctrine of the method of the Critique of judgement concerns the faculty of teleological judgement (§ 79-91). In the beginning of this Appendix (§ 79), Kant aims on clarifying how teleological thought, according to the principle of final cause, interprets the essence and the phenomena of nature. And we will look for attaining it having as supposition that teleology, though if not having the doctrinal character of science that requires a Methodenlehre, may be seen as a critical science of passage, because it can intermediate the ambits of nature and freedom, and, as such, oscillate between natural science and theology.

Hegel’s identification with idealism may not apprehend adequately his philosophical thinking if one takes it as a definitive and absolute determination because he is a dialectical thinker or even better speculative. In this sense the moment of materiality cannot be just put aside as a contingency but it is more the opposition through which the spirit fulfills itself. This one cannot be what it is without assuming the materiality as well as the matter cannot be effective without being overtaken in the spirit. The totality appointed by Hegel in the absolute spirit means precisely to know and to recognize one another in the other and also by the other as itself. The spirit only raises to itself insofar it assumes its opposition in matter and by being determined it determines itself but this cannot be fulfilled anywhere but in the matter. In the same way the matter cannot be effective without going beyond itself or being considered in thought, that is not as well establishing itself. If the spirit and the matter are effective insofar they are in relation with one another then the primacy of one over the other can only be understood as a result and not as a starting point. In this way the first moment must not be taken as something static but as coming to be.

If art is the moment of sensible intuition that Hegel considers carefully, then it is possible to conclude that the idealist perspective attributed to Hegel must be taken with reservations or its own idealism needs to be seen beyond all subjective levy.

Exact Solution of the Elastica with Transverse Shear Effects

A new derivation of Euler's Elastica with transverse shear effects included is presented. The elastic potential energy of bending and transverse shear is set up. The work of the axial compression force is determined. The equation of equilibrium is derived using the variation of the total potential. Using substitution of variables an exact solution is derived. The equation is transcendental and does not have a closed form solution. It is evaluated in a dimensionless form by using a numerical procedure. Finally, numerical examples of laminates made of composite material (fiber reinforced) and sandwich panels are provided.

O presente trabalho objetiva realizar uma leitura analítica dos aspectos extemporâneos implicados na criação da denominada tragédia carioca “Os sete gatinhos” escrita em 1958, pelo dramaturgo Nelson Rodrigues, com destaque para seu valor estético enquanto obra artística na abordagem de temas morais levantados pelo autor ao revelar, na expressão e no convívio entre os entes de uma família de baixa classe média, um modo de vida transcendental cunhado sobre valores historicamente cristãos. Construction techniques with ruler and the compasses, fundamental on Euclidean geometry, have been related to modern algebraic theories such as solving equations and extension of bodies from the works by Paolo Ruffini (1765-1822), Niels Henrik Abel (1802-1829) and Evariste Galois (1811-1832). This relation could provide an answer to some famous problems, from ancient Greece, such as doubling the cube, the trisection Angle, the Quadrature of the Circle and the construction of regular polygons, which remained unsolved for over two thousand years. Also important for our purposes are the notions of algebraic numbers, transcendental and the criteria for constructability, of those numbers. The objective of this study is to reconstruct relevant steps of geometric constructions with ruler (unmarked) and the compasses, from the elementary to the outcome buildings, in the nineteenth century, considering those mentioned problems.

O sublime e o problema da modernidade em Pedro Kilkerry

Current paper discusses manifestations of the sublime in Pedro Kilkerry´s poetry as one of the distinguishing characteristics within the Parnassian orientations predominant in his cultural context. The particular way that Kilkerry employs the sublime´s expedients demonstrates the dialogue of his poetry with Romantic ideals, whose traits in his lyrical stance are directly linked to Symbolist influence, far from traditional Parnassian models. The sublime in Kilkerry develops through an elliptical and suggestive language that demonstrates the impossibility of the ideal being directly expressed and shows the affinity of his poetic work with the idealist crisis that marks post-Romantic poetry and provides the basis on which the poetics of Modernity is structured. The poetry of Pedro Kilkerry develops within a complex zone of convergence between the models provided by the Parnassian aesthetic, Romantic idealism with an atavic presence to Symbolism, and the search for new answers to old idealistic concerns. The meeting of these three conflictive currents, perceptible in the manifestations of the sublime in Pedro Kilkerry´s poetry, demonstrates his lyrical sensitivity to the trends of Modernity.

Information technologies have enabled new forms of interactions among individuals, and can also be found in various educational institutions. However, despite appropriating new technological tools, educational practices continue to be based on a supposed pedagogical subject conceived as a transcendent way, ignoring his emergence and his origin in a particular historical period , and the control mechanisms by which is immersed. as well. This article aims to present results of an analysis on technology and education based on the thought of philosopher Michel Foucault. We analyzed proposals and discourses found in articles in a magazine entitled Patio - Revista Pedagógica.

The purpose of this paper is to present the thought of Hannah Arendt on the historical narrativa, as the reading of theories of cognition and the sign of Peirce. It is not categorial parallelism, but to highlight some approximation in order to conceive the thought and language. For both, communication is important in the formation of your thoughts. While one has broader interests, the other directs its efforts to human society, politics and history. However, both authors agree on the fallible nature o four opinions, and reject the traditional philosophies, advocates of transcendental schemes, which are imposed, silencing the experience, the source o four opinions. The proposal, to seek the experience, the origino f opinions, ou interpretations, excluding transcental rules, but the community is what gives the character of the narrative indeterminacy. They do not escape from the temporal and social factors. Therefore, are subject to what gives them legitimacy, ie, freedom.

Vias oblíquas da trasncendência: aspectos do idealismo em Augusto dos Anjos e Pedro Kilkerry

This essay analyzes the manifestations of the idealism of romantic orientation in the poetry of Augusto dos Anjos and Pedro Kilkerry, showing the points of contact between their oeuvres and demonstrating that many of the innovative aesthetic procedures of their poetry appear as a reaction to urgencies of an idealistic conception of poetry. Augusto dos Anjos and Pedro Kilkerry attest the anxiety of apprehension of connections with a super-sensible sphere in phenomenal reality. Although this takes a different form in each of the poets, it can refer to a common poetic ideal that transcends the concrete reality. To accomplish this, they use aesthetic procedures that modernize the language of the romantic sublime – Augusto dos Anjos uses a hybrid philosophical repertoire that marks his poetry with a tense and innovative prosaic language, and Pedro Kilkerry opts for the indirect representation, made by an evocative and metonymic language, that evidences the mystery of the transcendent ideal without deciphering it.
