O livro trata da utiliza����o da Televis��o Digital na Educa����o, mais especificamente do uso do t-learning na Educa����o a Dist��ncia (EaD), discutindo as possibilidades de avan��o e os limites estruturais da modalidade. Para o autor, o t-learning aplicado ao EaD poderia, se bem trabalhado, ensejar uma inclus��o cidad�� por meio de uma educa����o inovadora, com base em Tecnologias de Informa����o e Comunica����o inclusive j�� dispon��veis na sociedade brasileira. O principal foco de an��lise do trabalho s��o as alternativas criadas pela TV Digital interativa (TVDi), uma m��dia inovadora capaz de canalizar diversas converg��ncias - tecnol��gica, de processos e de conte��dos -, e com enorme potencial para dar suporte a ambientes colaborativos de ensino-aprendizagem, abrindo fronteiras para a real universaliza����o da educa����o. A Constru����o do Conhecimento na Atualidade: Um Olhar Sobre o Impacto da Tecnologia

In the paper analyzes the process of knowledge construction in the news regarding the emergence of massive information and communication technologies. In this context, through a qualitative approach, first we examine the potential of production, dissemination, access and use information in a technocratic perspective, and secondly, the negative impacts stemming from the computed mediation, mainly linked to the complexity of policies of democratization of access to information and loss of criticality of science. The focus of this review focuses on the current model of information search and knowledge construction through the Web, outlining aspects inherent to the process in general. Similarly, envision different contributions of information science for the systematization of human knowledge, guided through the social actions of professionals working in various fields, with emphasis on the information representation and retrieval. It is hoped that work can contribute to the current thematic reflection on the production, dissemination and use of information as well as on digital inclusion policies.

Tecnologias de Informa����o e Comunica����o em Bibliotecas Escolares: em busca de um espa��o din��mico

The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) can be combined with the acquisition of academic knowledge and cultural development of students, as they improve their information literacy, and why not say, also digital. Weaim in this research seek references and present experiences that encourage a new concept of school library with the use of ICT in teaching and learning in individual and collective development of the student community. To complement this study we prioritized the following objectives: to insert the technology into the routine of a school library; identify the informational and technological profile of adolescents; understand the needs and technological resources they use to obtain information in daily life and also analyze the importance the effective participation of the school library in the educational context of the school, through greater interaction between the librarian, teacher and pedagogical coordination seeking a cooperative and informal ICT teaching and learning for along with the students, sharing the search for information and knowledge, in a conscious and responsible way. Chosen as theoretical foundation the cognitive studies of Jean Piaget, witch explains how the stages of assimilation and accommodation of knowledge in cooperative practices work. As a methodology was developed a participatory-action research, to learn the behavioral state of young people and adolescents, based on the model of information search for the everyday life (Everyday Life Information Seeking) ��� ELIS, developed by Finnish researcher Savoleinen (2006), as well as identify the informational and technological profile of adolescents from two selected approaches in the scientific literature (HUGUES-HASSEL; AGOSTO, 2007; UCL, 2008). Thus, came up the initiative to create a Confraternity of the Library in a collaborative digital environment, providing the participants discussion and learning technologies as well as digital information literacy enhancement.

Problemas ��ticos em representa����o do conhecimento: uma abordagem te��rica

Considering that knowledge representation consists in a constant decision-making and that its products must be reliable, this paper highlights the existence of ethical problems in this context with undeniable damage to the user. Thefore, from a theorethical excerpt of the international literature regarding the ethical aspects involved in knowledge organization and representation, this study gets to the reflection of: a) the biases in knowledge representation; and b) non-neutrality of its processes, instruments and products, as subsidies to the outlining of possible ethical problems regarding the user as well as the role of information professional.

Geografia e novas tecnologias: o centro integrado de alertas de desastres naturais (CIADEN) como proposta de pr��tica pedag��gica para o ciclo I do ensino fundamental

This research work aims to analyze and understand the teaching of geography in the perspective of historical and critical pedagogy, with the object of analysis, the Center for Integrated Natural Disaster Alerts (CIADEN) for students in Cycle I of the Elementary School, located in Etec ���Astor de Mattos Carvalho���, in Cabr��lia Paulista-SP. Deepening the knowledge of geography teaching in a critical and controversial about the bad weather and the use of new technologies to transform the social order and its relationship with the environment. Contributing to the students and the community have a new proposal for action from the content learned, capable of solving the present and future with respect to weather, climate and natural disasters. Tecnologias, conceitos e propostas de materiais de constru����o sustent��vel do Centro de Viv��ncias da UNESP, Rio Claro/SP

Due to the great impact caused by construction, the university has a major role in the development of alternative projects and studies aimed at sustainable development. This project presents the advantages and importance of building in a sustainable manner from the beginning to end of the Center of Experiences at UNESP, Rio Claro / SP. It will be presented alternative building materials that have high environmental performance and that bring the least negative impacts as possible. Providing a Center of Experiences through a sustainable building is in need of the university to renovate the new trends of society in which the construction is in harmony with the environment in which it is inserted. This sustainable building will serve as a model for students and residents of Rio Claro, since the building itself will serve as a way of learning to the audience goer, as well as for the other campuses of UNESP. Thus, this project will serve as a guide for decision makers facing the huge amount of building materials available in the market

The information society is increasingly incorporating the immense volume of content available on the net. Access by electronic devices and the resulting ease of mobility and portability feed discussions on actual capacity of appropriation of this knowledge that circulates through cyberspace. Address and discuss the possibilities of educating across the network, therefore, gains more and more importance. On models of educational quality well developed ��� as is the case in Finland, for example-, Brazilian education is, year after year, failing in international marathons to achieve below average indexes required. Creates a field of analysis, in which this article arises, in the quest to understand more deeply the opportunity of use of Information and communication technologies (ICT) for a quality education, plunging by cultural issues that fall in the construction of objective conditions offered to students. This is an effort in understanding the historical factors that limit efforts to offering a quality education in Brazil.
