A busca de linguagens contemporâneas em artes: reflexões na universidade a partir de Centro de Pesquisa Plástica

This work is about the extension project “Plastic Research Centre”, developed at Unesp (Bauru/São Paulo/Brasil) by the author along with the students of Artistic Education (Plastic Arts). Aiming to encourage the students on supports and alternative techniques, the Audiovisual and Visual Arts Study Group - GRAVA was created as a place for reflexion and creation. The group has been seeking a personal language, improving it as the means to communicate its interpretation of the world are investigated, being it in the urban space or in cultural and virtual centres. By extending the university knowledge to the local community, it is intended to motivate the student’s research along with the professoriate and promote the creation process and artistic works focusing the group’s view on the context it is inserted.

O recorte proposto prioriza as relações de afetividade e intimidade que se delieniam na poética da artista em ações que transitam entre o interior e exterior e dão sentido à paisagem enquanto permanência sensorial e imaginária.

Fayga Ostrower: estudos sobre a pesquisa plástica e teórica nos processos criativos

The way we look express our soul, so there is no way to disregard the presence of intuitive processes in the creation of any work, like say Fayga Ostrower. Based on the theories of the artist, intends to investigate how their own texts read his plastic production, heavily influenced by German Expressionism. The concernment of the research is in the approach how their publications favor the understanding of artistic making as a moment against the intuitive and the fullness of the original creation and true to the thought of the artist.

A potencialidade da arte contemporânea ao transcender linguagens favorecendo a vida

Reflection about the contemporary production artistic, the own make artistic and the creative process that involve them it is noted that, comes to the poetic construction the action to greater understanding the being as artist and from the being while humanity. In current procedures that do not prioritize more materials, supports or languages for the production of works, but human being and his complexities, the art is manifested as the essence, need of renovation. From the documentary "Window of the Soul", directed by João Jardim and Walter Carvalho, and from personal creations is studied the transcendence of materiality in hybrids process, actions at resignify the look that investigates and reinterprets. In this exercise, art is justified as experience necessary, metaphors for the life, to teach us to see, fell and restructure us.

Effects of phonophoresis with Arnica montana onto acute inflammatory process in rat skeletal muscles: An experimental study

This study aimed at verifying the effects of phonophoresis associated with Arnica montana on the acute phase of an inflammatory muscle lesion. Forty Wistar male rats (300 +/- 50 g), of which the Tibialis Anterior muscle was surgically lesioned, were divided into four groups (n = 10 each): control group received no treatment; the ultrasound group (US) was treated in pulsed mode with 1-MHz frequency, 0.5 W/cm(2) intensity (spatial and temporal average - SATA), duty cycle of 1: 2 (2 ms on, 4 ms off, 50%), time of application 3 min per session, one session per day, for 3 days; the phonophoresis or ultrasound plus arnica (US+A) group was treated with arnica with the same US parameters plus arnica gel; and the arnica group (A) was submitted to massage with arnica gel, also for 3 min, once a day, for 3 days. Treatment started 24 h after the surgical lesion. on the 4th day after lesion creation, animals were sacrificed and sections of the lesioned, inflamed muscle were removed for quantitative (mononuclear and polymorphonuclear cell count) and qualitative histological analysis. Collected data from the 4 groups were statistically analyzed and the significance level set at p < 0.05. Results show higher mononuclear cell density in all three treated groups with no significant difference between them, but values were significantly different (p < 0.0001) when compared to control group's. As to polymorphonuclear cell density, significant differences were found between control group (p = 0.0134) and US, US+A and A groups; the arnica group presented lesser density of polymorphonuclear cells when compared (p = 0.0134) to the other groups. No significant difference was found between US and US+A groups. While the massage with arnica gel proved to be an effective anti-inflammatory on acute muscle lesion in topic use, these results point to ineffectiveness of Arnica montana phonophoresis, US having seemingly checked or minimized its anti-inflammatory effect. Optimal clone identifier based on dynamic rules and process algebra

The rule creation to clone selection in different projects is a hard task to perform by using traditional implementations to control all the processes of the system. The use of an algebraic language is an alternative approach to manage all of system flow in a flexible way. In order to increase the power of versatility and consistency in defining the rules for optimal clone selection, this paper presents the software OCI 2 in which uses process algebra in the flow behavior of the system. OCI 2, controlled by an algebraic approach was applied in the rules elaboration for clone selection containing unique genes in the partial genome of the bacterium Bradyrhizobium elkanii Semia 587 and in the whole genome of the bacterium Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. citri. The knowledge conversion SECI process as innovation indicator analysis factor

It highlights the innovation importance in the current society and presents innovation indicators applied in 125 countries. We made an analysis in the 80 variables distributed through seven GII pillars, trying to identify the direct, indirect or null incidences of the knowledge conversion way described by the SECI Process. The researched revealed the fact that knowledge management, in this case specifically the knowledge conversion SECI Process, is present in the variables that, according to the GII, make clear innovative activity in countries.

Morfologia urbana na animação

The production and concept of the animation process adds not only technical aspects to it, but also the huge amount of detail and study of every single reference used to create that said animation. From costumes and fashion to urban morphology, those researches are needed for the creation of a final product that has a truth feeling to it, making the viewer feel like part of it and receive not only a literal aspect, but a conceptual feel from the project. Photos, maps, technical studies and much more are tools of trade when dealing with the animation process. The animators have to give attention to every single detail in order to make the production feel alive for the viewers, making the animations flow in a charming way. To analyse the inverse way of the animation process – from the final product to the sketch studies of the base reality from which it was based at- is a good way to comprehend the research line of the animators, and that’s the main focus of this project
