In this paper expounds on the major phases or generations of the evolutionary process of wireless mobile communication, emphasizing their characteristics and changes over time. The main benefit of this process is the rate of data transfer remembering capacity spectral and methods of harnessing and improving its efficiency. Changes are occurring worldwide, including the area of positioning using Global Navigation Satellite Systems in mobile devices such as mobile phones or laptops. This is due to the great improvement and availability of Internet services to these mobile devices. The accuracy and speed of data transmission for these devices makes the technology of sending / receiving data via an internet targeted for optimization. The optimization could allow obtaining, in real-time, coordinates (latitude, longitude and altitude) of suitable quality for users of GPS (Global Positioning System) devices that have wireless Internet access, such as those used to control the eet, locomotion, navigation, agriculture, etc. . The use of the protocol NTRIP (Networked Transport of RTCM via Internet Protocol) in GPS applications is growing every day. Applications are available in C, which creates an opportunity for development with a focus on multiplatform environments. In this context, we propose an application, implemented in a multiplatform environment and the use of NTRIP, able to run on a mobile device for receiving GNSS data

Didactic texts compose communication and representation systems. By them societies communicate with their children, their youth, transmit them live representations, symbols, ways of understanding speeches and delimit their study fields. This article presents a discussion about the medias used by Portuguese language text books selected by the Ministry of Education Textbook National Program (PNDL – in Portuguese), in order to observe the foundation of actions, movements and media insertion at school. The analysis allows us to see the consolidation of an individualist profile among the strategies of using medias at school, among others aspects.

This paper presents a study based on bibliographic research on LTE technology, chosen for the fourth generation of mobile phones, and the current status of implementation of 4G network in Brazil. The change in user behavior, which now uses data over the voice services, requires transmission networks to be increasingly robust and fast to enable the viewing of videos and use of other platforms that require internet connection. The retrospective of the development of mobile technologies, from 1G up to 4G that is currently used, shows the long road until it came to appliances and how the phone is used nowadays. Finally, the popularity of smartphones and hence the growing number of people with access to 4G networks, demanded new researchs for the development of future generations technologies in order to achieve the demand for speed enabling significant changes in user experience

Sistemas certificáveis de gestão ambiental e da qualidade: práticas para integração em empresas do setor moveleiro

O principal objetivo deste artigo é propor, a partir do referencial teórico e de um estudo de caso em uma empresa moveleira, práticas para integração de sistemas certificáveis de gestão ambiental e da qualidade. A coleta de dados do estudo de caso se deu por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas com o responsável direto pelos dois sistemas e com alguns colaboradores-chave do nível operacional, além de análise documental e de visitas in loco. Ao final deste artigo, são propostas práticas para integração desses sistemas, relacionadas aos seguintes elementos: alta administração; apoio administrativo, financeiro e pessoal; serviço de consultoria; coordenação do programa de integração; interface entre os sistemas; capacitação técnico-gerencial; sistema de liderança, prospecção, avaliação e desenvolvimento de fornecedores; sistema de informação; indicadores; comunicação com o cliente, e integração contínua.
