Nesta obra, Roberto Leme Batista analisa a ideologia da nova educação profissional no momento histórico criado e vivido pelo capitalismo globalizado. O ponto de partida da análise é a crise estrutural do capital a partir da década de 1970, que motivou a ofensiva do capital contra o trabalho como uma forma de superá-la. Batista trata a reestruturação produtiva como um dos componentes essenciais da ofensiva capitalista, explicando como se processou a transformação do conceito de qualificação para o de competências, e como a reforma da educação na década de 1990, no Brasil, assimilou essa ofensiva no âmbito da educação profissional. Para o autor, busca-se com um novo tipo de educação profissional um sujeito social palatável e útil ao capital, um trabalhador flexível e adaptável às transformações organizacionais e técnicas do capitalismo global, cujo momento predominante veio a ser o toyotismo, a experiência mais bem sucedida de flexibilização da produção e do trabalho da moderna sociedade industrial.
Resumo:
This article questions some elements that can help to make early work understood nowadays. From a local reality, the city of Franca in São Paulo, it records the production restructuring, the expansion of the informal, autonomous and domestic work, and the early inclusion of boys and girls in the work market, as well as the maintenance of the distance between the paradigm of whole protection to children and adolescents and the daily reality in which they are inserted.

This article presents a discussion about the fetishism of the intellectual capital, analysing the ideology of knowledge and the need of adaptation of the worker in connection with the restructuring of capital in recent decades. We analyze the emergence of this ideology - through the concepts of knowledge society, information society, intellectual capital, among others - in some authors of the area human resource management, following it presents the critique of this notion based on the analysis of some authors of critical social thought. Finally we position ourselves in order to assert that this is a new version of fetishism in the time of globalization of the capital.

Este trabalho trata das cidades médias, em particular das cidades de Marília, São José do Rio Preto, Londrina e Mossoró. Dentro desse estudo, o enfoque se dá para a compreensão e análise sobre o modo como estão combinados os espaços não edificados e os vazios urbanos, os espaços construídos e as vias de circulação e suas transformações ao longo do tempo. A proposta é analisar o processo de expansão do tecido urbano dessas cidades para compreender sua morfologia, bem como procurar fazer uma reconstituição, tomandose a dimensão espacial e temporal, com o intuito de que esta contribua na conferência das identidades próprias de cada cidade, viabilizando a identificação das semelhanças entre elas, como também de suas especificidades. Durante o desenvolvimento do trabalho procuramos identificar elementos promotores da reestruturação urbana pela qual as cidades têm passado nas ultimas décadas, tentando relaciona-los com as novas formas de produção e organização espaciais... This work presents an intervention at the Guaratinguetá Railway Station and its surroundings, including this area in the urban context, at this moment isolated of the activities and citizen attentions, offering new activities on this commercial area. The selected area finds itself in a state of neglect and forgetfulness from the urban relations. Located between the periphery of the commercial center and the Paraiba do Sul River, the correlation is tension between the advancement of shops, the railway line, and the natural barrier of the Paraiba River. On the context of these limits, the railroad and the river stand as barriers for the center expansion and the flows that connect the old part of the town with the new part, which is growing and is called “post-city river”. These barriers have relegating properties around them to isolation, despite being located in the center. The area choice and this intervention seeks to break this isolation and the barrier flow, linking areas of opposite sides to form a leak through the barrier of the railway line. The pedestrian flow is prioritized in the project, this flow will be attracted by the program offered and by the new created areas, increasing the space utilization by users and breaking the isolation of urban activities. And entering the area in the context of life of city residents. The attraction of these new flows will be through the implementation of a Cultural Center, supplying a lack of city by spaces that offer this type of activity. Its implementation aims to attract and modify the activities of these spaces and the surrounding areas, one side facing the commercial center, and another facing the river, linking this two sides at the same time that this link provides the expansion of distance traveled and known

In industrial plants, there is a department responsible for planning the use of productive resources to find the best possible way to set out plans in strategic, tactical and operational levels. This department is known as PCP or PPCP, which means Planning and Production Control and Planning, Programming and Production Control, respectively. This work presents the use of some of the tools from this department, in particular the Aggregate Production Planning, to propose a new layout of electronic nutrunners for an auto parts industry output line. Through some process indicators analyzes, was identified some productivity losses. The higher loss rate occurred by the electronic nutrunners breaking, and so this work was focused in these devices. Some premises were adopted for the use of electronic nut runners, setting an ideal cycle time for the operation of the production line and making calculations to define the minimum amount of electronic nutrunners to find the production demand without damaging the equipment. With this work we observed that a relevant factor for the constant breaks of electronic nutrunners is because these are working with overload, in other words, the amount of installed equipment is not enough to supply the demand without failures

Founded in 1921, the company currently known as Lupo S/A is one of the most ancient textile and clothing industries in Brazil. In this article we aim to describe the general lines of the trajectory of this family company, currently producing socks, nightwear and sports articles. The focus of this paper is on the analysis of some strategies used by the company along its formation and development process, and, particularly, the way these strategies made possible the productive restructuring associated to the overcoming of the strong crisis which began in the end of the 80's and early 90's, contributing to its recent consolidation in the clothing industry. The leading hypothesis of the study is that pioneering connected to a strong organizational culture that has been formed and constructed since its foundation and that was reestablished in a more recent management were the factors which were responsible for the advances able to generate an innovation environment in products as well as in processes and management. The theoretical reflection selected to subsidize the cognitive construction of the study of the company is based on the historical approach of the development of the textile industry in Brazil and in studies about the importance of the action of the entrepreneur, in the role of the organizational culture and of innovation to choose strategies in companies. The research involved the analysis of documents and data of the company, as well as interviews with directors and employees. The results show a traditional company model, but also show the presence of a very advanced entrepreneurial dynamic. Modern world – known as a fordist industrial model – could already be noticed in the company when this production pattern was not clearly defined yet in the Brazilian industry. Nowadays, the company faces the challenge of globalization and the open competition in the international market which brings the rivalry of the greatest and best globalized companies.
