As representações das mulheres no filme garotas e samba (1957)

Este artigo visa apresentar uma análise das representações femininas contidas no filme Garotas e Samba (1957), dirigido por Carlos Manga, por meio de seu enredo, personagens e marchinhas carnavalescas. Essa produção pertence ao gênero cinematográfico conhecido como chanchada, considerado um tipo de comédia musical que recebeu influências diversas, advindas do circo, do carnaval, do rádio, do teatro de variedades e do cinema estrangeiro. O carnaval representado no filme é o das músicas das rádios – principalmente das marchinhas carnavalescas, que favoreciam sátiras e inversões – e dos bailes de salão – onde eram utilizadas fantasias estilizadas e curtas, típicas do período. Este filme evidencia, de forma clara, o “mundo às avessas” apresentado pelas chanchadas, uma vez que as mulheres aparecem em uma posição muito mais ativa no espaço público em relação à situação real de grande parte das mulheres dos anos 1950. Não obstante, o filme expressou representações ora conservadoras, ora ousadas a respeito da mulher, demonstrando a ambiguidade de uma sociedade em fase de transição.

O uso do rádio e da TV por instituições religiosas: um fenômeno crescente nos mais variados canais de comunicação

In the present study aimed to study the use of radio and television in Brazil by the various Christian aspects rooted in the country. The main objective was to analyze how the churches define the orientation or the use of strategies of both comprehensive and traditional media vehicles, which are still the most popular mass media, both for the formation of culture and national public opinion in both states and municipalities, which demarcate and retain regional traits that differentiate culturally, economically and socially diverse Brazilian populations. Christian churches are increasingly seeking loopholes and legal facilities, public spaces and broadcast media to facilitate the achievement of followers of their theological ideologies. On the radio, on television and also through social networks of the Internet, pastors, priests, bishops and lay Christians to seek their potential both in public space and home individually, using old and new individual devices and portable reception of audiovisual content. All preachers fiercely competing for space leased the open television networks, in national and local radio stations and invest in the organization of broadcasters Community legalized or informal. A importância de Scotus na concepção de história de Arendt

The objective of this study is to discuss the notion of history in Arendt, from the importance that needs the thought of Duns Scotus, particularly with regard to the primacy of the will. For the author, Scotus was a medieval thinkers to emphasize the role of free will as power in the face of intellect attached to the natural activity. The freedom to get an act featuring a world ruled by contingency. Now, for Arendt, that freedom is consistent with your idea of authentic political, and base a public space, defined by word and action of individuals. The history, which takes place from political activity, received various treatments, from Greek antiquity to the modern conception of process. It joined the idealistic conceptions, establishing universal ways of defining the future. However, if freedom is to characterize the vita activa, the history must seek the meaning of the facts to scrutinize their singular aspects, which fell to the continuo of universal explanation of the official history. It is, therefore, to approach the history from the perspective of singular narrative, from the spectators, those who founded the public space. Hence the importance of bipolar concepts such as nature and freedom, necessity and contingency, will and intellect, as Scotus.

The effects of an intervention in social skills were assessed in four university students with ages between 19 and 31, with social phobia diagnosis. The performance in social skills as well as performance-compatible disorder was assessed before, after the intervention, and follow-up in four months later, by the instruments: SCID-I, Mini-SPIN, QACC-VU and IHS in a multiple baseline design among participants. The intervention programmed twelve weekly meetings in which the researcher discussed socially skilled alternatives to the described difficulties; leaded dialogued theoretical explanations about the theme of the meeting and also performed functional assessments and repertory training of the participants. It was observed deficits such as public speaking, starting and maintaining conversation in the participants’ social skills repertory, which are consistent with the criteria for social phobia and the difficulties into the adapting to university. After the intervention, the participants left difficulties in public speaking, performance characteristic compatible with the social phobia diagnosis and they also increased social repertory, although it is still necessary the improvement of other skills, such as expressing positive feeling.

Tumblrs fotográficos como lugares de memória: a profanação do acontecimento e a lógica de arquivo

From the assumption that digital photography not only opened new photographic practices, but also formulated new forms of image appropriations, including how photos are linked to our collective memory, this paper aims to study the Tumblrs pages that use historic photographs in its compositions. From the notion that the archives are an opening to the public space and a place of symbolic assignment, we will discuss the notion that the function of these photographs suffers a displacement that gives priority to the file itself as an object of interest over the event alluded. In other words, it is the file that becomes the object of the representation of a place of memory.
