Fazendo gênero em jornalismo: os projetos editoriais da Folha de S. Paulo em perspectiva dialógica

O trabalho investiga os projetos editoriais e gráficos da Folha de S. Paulo produzidos desde a década de 1970, de modo a tentar compreender a evolução histórica recente do veículo, além do amadurecimento de seu conceito de jornalismo e de sua visão como empresa, os quais o alçaram à condição de jornal mais importante do país, posição que raramente perdeu e ainda mantém. Com ferramentas metodológicas emprestadas de Mikhail Bakhtin, a autora demonstra que, apesar das estabilidades estruturais desse jornal enquanto gênero discursivo se ampararem em elementos como conteúdo temático, traços formais e estilo verbal, esses mesmos elementos seriam sutilmente transformados ao longo dos anos, de modo a adaptar continuamente o veículo ao universo mutável que o circunda, constituído pelos leitores, anunciantes, governos, o desenvolvimento tecnológico e o próprio conceito de jornalismo. A pesquisadora mostra o quanto a Folha de S. Paulo precisou se modificar para enfrentar a concorrência dos outros jornais, da televisão e, em especial, da internet, que impôs um novo tipo de tratamento à informação. E como, nesse percurso, o jornal conseguiu consolidar sua visão de mundo e sua noção particular de informação como mercadoria

Impactos e características nos projetos hidrelétricos Sul-americanos: o caso de Inambari no Peru, o investimento brasileiro e a lei de consulta prévia, 2006-2011

Esta pesquisa trata de um grande projeto hidrelétrico, Inambari, que estava se transformando em realidade como parte de acordos entre o governo do Brasil no segúndo período de Lula (2006-2010) e do governo peruano de Alan Garcia – AG (2006-2011). Inambari é um dos mais recentes projetos hidrelétricos peruanos feitos para exportar ao Brasil. Mas, apesar de formar parte de um acordo entre esses países, por agora está detido devido a protestos e mobilizações da população dos territ´porios de Inambari contra a política hegemônica de AG. Analogamente ao caso da estrada Interoceãnica Sul, a construção e operação da Usina Inambari pode ser entendida como um caso emblemático no cenário Latino Americano atual. Esta não seria apenas o maior projeto hidrelétrico da amazônia peruana, custando aproximadamente 4 bilhões de dolares e prometendo um potencial de geração de energia elétrica de cerca de 2.200 MW para exportar ao Brasil por ano, mas também concretizaria o vínculo energético estratégico entre estes dois países através de um complexo de usinas e linhas de transmissão interconectados. Para sua concretização se conta com o amparo financeiro e legislativo dos dois governos e suas instituições de fomento, além de instituições de internacionais de investimento (como o BID e o BM) e do capital internacional (este útlimo proveniente principalmente de empreiteiras brasileiras beneficiárias do modelo de concessões federais). Aqui se estudam os potenciais impactos na economia amazônica do modelo vigente de exploração de recursos naturais hídricos amazônicos através do caso INAMBARI. A conclusão aponta que inexistência de participação popular como o maior entrave ao desenvolvimento amazônico e tenta explicar a novaconfiguração dos movimentos sociais que buscam voz para os povos da Amazônia bem como o pioneirismo peruano em relação a lei de consulta prévia

Currently there are numerous social projects scattered through out the country, including the sport, for the most part, aimed at children and teens considered at social vulnerability. These projects end up having as main guiding sports, these in turn take several purposes, among them, the sport recreation/socialization and professionalization of sport, which often end up being worked disassociated from one of another, forgetting that, in the same place, these different purposes can live therefore are the subjects that give meaning to their practice. In this sense, this research sought to understand the meanings that the participants in a social sports project water polo attribute to the practice. This project happens in a provincial city of São Paulo, serving about 2.300 children and teens and has as main objectives the social inclusion and training of high-performance athlete. The research, qualitative approach was characterized by an exploratory study and used the interview as collection technique. The study included 40 children and adolescents attending the project, as well as two social workers and two physical education teachers that working on the project. The results showed that there is a convergence between participants, teachers and social workers regarding their expectations regarding the project, but we identified another bias that goes against the practice of leisure, in showing that in the same place if can find to the two purposes of the sport, even this

The objective of this paper is to present the relationship between higher education with other levels of education. In Brazil, some challenges were launched to fulfill improvement in teaching / learning covering a scientific development with the involvement of several bodies, among them the science and society. Therefore, according to the National Postgraduate-PNPG, the close relationship between science and society requires a scientific-cultural training that should start in higher education, teacher training, and that this knowledge can follow the company, traversing all levels of education prior to higher education. Thus, we analyze the formation of teachers as one of the pillars of our discussion, trying to understand that at different times, men have paid attention to the re/organization of society, to masters/teachers have the knowledge that enabled individuals to convey an apprenticeship favoring the theoretical reflection on practice. So, we have considered some classics, as Bonaventure of Bagnoregio, that dealt on the training of teachers (as) in different periods, expressing concern about the quality of teaching and documents dealing with the situation of education in Brazil

Redes sociais na Internet: uma investigação sobre práticas de compartilhamento de arquivos no Facebook

The social networking sites have experienced a large and rapid growth in recent years and bring together millions of users in Brazil and worldwide. Such networks allow adding groups of people with common interests or relationships, enabling members of this group to communicate and exchange information. Some social networks have specific goals, for example, aggregate individuals with common interests and professional relationships. However, they all share information in some way, whether in the form of short texts, photos, videos, among others. Sharing information in files is also a growing activity on the Internet and can be done in various ways, from sending files via email to multiple contacts to make available areas shared by the same contacts. However, applications are not yet available to enable file sharing on Facebook, considered the premier social network today. Given the growing demand for sharing files over the Internet, and a large number of users familiar with the use of these integrated applications for Facebook there is a demand for applications that allow users to share files with their contacts in this social network. This study aims to investigate how users use Facebook, and their practices for file sharing. It is believed that the results will substantiate future projects to develop software for file sharing on Facebook. Due to the exploratory nature of this research, the choice was made for a survey to collect data, applied through the web. From the results obtained, was possible to observe a frequent use of file sharing, but no interest in paid services. Regarding Facebook, was possible to observe their extensive use in both the frequency of access as the hours spent, as well as an increased use of applications (games, quiz, etc.). The full set of results shows a favorable environment for developing applications for sharing files on Facebook.

Uma mirada em dois projetos e concepções sul-americanas de TV pública digital: análise comparativa entre TV Brasil e Canal 7 Argentina

Esta tesis es resultado de un intenso trabajo de investigación realizado de agosto de 2014 a agosto de 2015, con financiación de la Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (Fapesp). El objetivo se centró en la realización de un análisis, aunque preliminar, del papel de la TV pública con tecnología digital, como también de las tendencias, desafíos y perspectivas para consolidarla, tanto en Brasil como en Argentina, países con diversas similitudes en contextos económicos, sociales, políticos y culturales. Para cumplir los objetivos, estudiamos los recientes proyectos gubernamentales de televisión pública en los dos países suramericanos. El gobierno argentino invirtió en modernización en Canal 7 (antiguo Argentina Televisora Color-ATC), una emisora de casi seis décadas de funcionamiento, que ha sido prácticamente refundada a partir de los investimentos públicos del gobierno nacional argentino, realizados para digitalizar los sistemas de transmisión y de recepción de televisión abierta. El nuevo Canal 7 pasó a servir de cabeza de red del sistema de televisión pública de Argentina. En Brasil, el gobierno creó a fines del 2007, la Empresa Brasil de Comunicación (EBC), estructura administrativa que opera la red de televisión pública de TV Brasil. Ambos proyectos prometen construir y gestionar sistemas nacionales abiertos, modernos y competitivos de TV Pública Digital Abierta (TVPDA). À margem da lei: a criminalização da homofobia e seus reflexos políticos e sociais

Earlier this year, took office in Congress deputies and senators regarding the Legislature from 2015 to 2019. Most elected officials has been identified as more conservative character, which should change the work schedule in the Legislative Houses. In this context, this experimental project consists of a journalistic reporting that aims to analyze how this new composition can affect issues involving the agenda of the LGBT community, in particular, the bills criminalizing the practice of homophobia. The work aims to reach politically minded readers between 21 and 60 years, in order to educate them about the importance of this issue. Therefore, we performed the calculation of violence perpetrated against this population, studied the new profile of the Congress, analyzed how Judiciary acts front of legislative inertia and made interviews. Water is an economic, strategic and social valuable resource of the utmost importance to society. This renewable natural resource is increasingly scarce with the growing of populations, industries and agriculture, in addition to the pollution surface and underground water and the waste have aggravated this situation. Investments in the sector of water resources so that this resource meets in quantity and quality the demand from its multiple uses, represent a significant portion of national and regional budgets. Therefore, the use of alternative sources of water capture can reduce the pressure on conventional public water supply systems. In this work was designed and executed a rain water collection system to a residence in the city of Barueri (SP), which can be applied to other residences. In this system, the rooftop of the residence was used as the waterproof and capture area. The gutter and the PVC conductors were used for driving the water to two connected reservoirs. The stored water was designed to address activities that are not potable, such as washing clothes and external areas and garden irrigation. The system showed economic viability, with 34-month return of investment time, wherein after that period, in addition to environmental and social benefits derived from the implementation of the project, the economy made with the payment of public supply rates should be considered. This rainwater capture system is inexpensive and uses materials available in the market. Therefore, its application to a greater number of households should be encouraged as a measure of sustainable water management
