Dentre os reagentes alternativos, têm-se destacado o peróxido de hidrogênio, visando atender às demandas de produção de celulose ECF. Reagentes como cloro e dióxido de cloro reagem com a lignina residual, levando à formação de compostos organoclorados, fator negativo para as questões relacionadas ao meio ambiente. O fator kappa (FK) é determinante para a dosagem de dióxido de cloro em seqüencias de branqueamento que determinarão a alvura requerida e reduzirão a formação de compostos organoclorados no licor residual. O presente estudo avaliará o efeito da lignina residual através do número de permanganato, após o estágio D1, no branqueamento com peróxido de hidrogênio. Foram realizados cinco branqueamentos de polpas iguais por seqüências ECF em ensaios laboratoriais, variando-se o fator kappa entre eles. O branqueamento foi realizado com uma polpa kraft de eucalipto, prédeslignificada com oxigênio, utilizando a quantidade de reagentes requeridas para cada estágio, em sacos de polietileno e mantidas em banho de vapor com controle de temperatura pelo tempo requerido. A seqüência D(E+P)DP proposta foi comparada com a seqüência D(E+P)DD. Os métodos utilizados para realizar este estudo são os de procedimento padrão conforme as normas TAPPI e CPPA para branqueamento em laboratório de polpa celulósica. Foram avaliados os parâmetros de qualidade da polpa branqueada com os valores de alvura, viscosidade, número kappa, número de permanganato, reversão de alvura e custo do processo de branqueamento e a influência do fator kappa sobre cada uma das condições propostas. Os resultados foram interpretados com base para as polpas que atingiram a alvura objetivo de 90 %ISO. Verificou-se que o FK ideal obtido foi de 0,20 para as seqüências avaliadas. We present herein an experience report, followed by the analysis of some of its aspects. We discuss teacher’s education for the integration of Digital Technologies for Information and Communication (DTIC) in the teaching-learning process in public schools, based on actual practices experienced in extension projects developed at the Sao Paulo State University (UNESP). We aimed at providing a reflection on possible means for training of initial teachers in Basic Education for the use of technology, by assuming that it represents unique opportunity to investigate the process of learning the teaching process. The relevance of this discussion is not only to consider that teachers are essential for any novelty expected in education, but also as a reflection on the knowledge that teachers and initial teachers should have and need to overcome an old technology-mediated education.

This article aims to show the results of an institutional research in Applied Linguistics, which tries to comprehend how the initial teaching practice occurs in diversely figured contexts of foreign language teaching-learning (on-site and virtual), as well as how such contexts may mutually favor and encourage reflective and critical training of the language teacher in/for a contemporary world. It´s possible to notice a reflective attitude of four Brazilian foreign language (Spanish, English and Italian) teachers in initial training, especially regarding some aspects related to the teaching-learning languages process, such as roles of the participants; relevance of meaningful interaction; engaged cultures; teaching of a foreign language and mother tongue teaching as foreign one; teaching and learning typologically similar languages; constitution of the place to learn-teachIt´s possible to notice a reflective attitude of four Brazilian foreign language (English, Italian and Spanish) teachers in pre-service education, especially about some aspects of language teaching and learning process, such as the role of the participants; the relevance of significant interactions; the involved cultures; the teaching of a foreign language and the teaching of the mother tongue as a foreign language; the teaching of similar languages as Portuguese and Spanish; and the constitution of the place of teaching and learning languages. The results indicate that the experience of experiencing the dynamics of a conventional didactic context of language teaching (classroom), alongside to the experience of teaching and learning in a context of virtual educational settings (teletandem), it was especially important for the critical training of the future language teachers and to the awareness about the practice of teaching languages in times of technological innovation.

This article aims to approach, under a critical perspective, images about German language and their speakers, presented by Brazilian university students interested in or engaged in learning this language in the first stage of studies. The purpose is to deal with evidences of the occurrence of stereotypical images and to discuss their implications in/for the teaching-learning process, aiming with this study to show the importance of considering and establishing as a relevant goal in the teaching of German, the necessity of a destrangement route or period, through a methodological approach aimed at helping the students in the process of developing intercultural competence. Such discussions are founded in theoretical conceptions related to the notions of other and self, intercultural competence, intercultural approach, as well as in results obtained through an investigation conducted within the field of foreign language (German) learning.

The study presented here aimed to understand how the traineeship supervisor can act for this moment to be a valuable learning for future teachers, with a view to her operations to expand the knowledge of students. For this, we analyzed the pedagogical actions that occurred during the supervised training of a pedagogy course at a public university situated in the state of Paraná, Brazil. Supported in qualitative research this investigation shows that the supervisory actions, in the view of interns, favored teacher education: respect for the supervisor to people; her orientation to the importance of reflecting on aspects recognized as negative, her help in the preparation of interdisciplinary lesson plan and the need for a flexible lesson plan; her presence in moments of interventions; feedback given and appreciation of the role of the educator in the teaching / learning.

The research intends to discuss the process of reception of radio content in the current process of digitalization of media noise. So there will be a retrospective of the formation and consolidation of the radio medium in the country until the current stage of media convergence, focusing on the habits of today’s teens that comprise the calling Generation Y or Generation Internet. They constitute a strategic corpus for research on reception and media culture since they are under intense infl uence of the cultures of computing, audiovisual communication and also the economic and cultural globalization.
