Motivação e adesão no esporte infanto-juvenil

O esporte infanto-juvenil vem sendo apontado como um importante aliado na promoção de uma vida mais ativa, bem como um forte instrumento de inclusão social. Por isso, é fundamental investigar quais fatores mais contribuem para a adesão no esporte infanto-juvenil. Pensando nisso foram investigados 15 adolescentes com idades entre 13 e 15 anos, participantes de um programa de iniciação esportiva; duas vezes por semana; com duração média de uma hora/dia. Para a coleta dos dados foi aplicado um questionário fechado, composto por 8 categorias, no qual, foram citados como motivos para a adesão os seguintes fatores, dispostos do maior para o menor motivo: Para competir; Ficar em forma; Fazer algo em que sou bom; Ficar mais habilidoso; Diversão; Amigos; Poder vir a ganhar dinheiro; e Outros. O conhecimento dos principais motivos para a adesão no esporte infanto-juvenil pode facilitar a adoção de uma conduta mais apropriada de: pais, técnicos e dirigentes, e servir como forma de incentivar a prática esportiva destes jovens, diminuindo assim, a grande rotatividade e abandono precoce das modalidades esportivas destes indivíduos.

Emoção e afetividade na aprendizagem: breve revisão bibliográfica

This work has as its theme the role of emotions and affectivity in learning, particularly in science learning, being developed from a literature review. We start from the idea that learning occurs through changes in the neural networks of each individual and that these changes are caused by a combination of genetic and biological factors also influenced by emotions and affectivity. We seek information on the functioning of the human brain, highlighting the neuroanatomy and neurocognition, to understand how the brain processes information, including the feelings and emotions experienced by the individual. Once we try to understand which roles are assigned to the feelings and emotions in different learning theories, emphasizing the cognitive and humanistic theories. Finally, we found some more recent contributions to the understanding of the learning process, to the field of neuroscience. We were led to conclude that there is great scope for research in applied neuroscience to education, since the work, especially in the national literature are still scarce

This paper was developed with students of the second year from high school, in a private school, identifying their motivation for the study of physics contents, when they are discussed in an not ordinary class, but critical. We incorporated the critical class as a didactic tool, able to stimulate and motivate the physics study and to help the teacher. Through questions, we evaluated how this class motivated the students, as well as how we investigate the type of class and teacher the students consider to be the most motivator for their learning

Discurso e motivação: um estudo semiótico sobre livros de autoajuda de desenvolvimento profissional

The success and recognition for their dedication put into the work are the need of every worker, and for that there is a constant quest for success in organizations. In this scenario, the Brazilian publishing market offers self-help literature as a practical method of acquiring the fundamental knowledge for professional development. The self-help literature for professional development addresses motivation as an essential characteristic for success, as a motivated worker earns more visibility and prominence to motivate other team members, thus arousing a spirit of leadership among the players. The motivation of workers also meets the expectations of organizations, because they improve productivity without requiring new investments. Thus, the literature on professional development is positioned as one of the best selling literary styles sold in Brazil over the years. To have an understanding of the discourse of literary style and persuasive methods known in them, we present a semiotic analysis of the five introductory chapters of selected works. Greimassian Semiotics offers great tools for understanding the introductory speeches of professional development books, which are intended to present the synthesis of the work, or demonstrate the values and knowledge of the authors, coaxing the reader to read on and be receptive to the idea of motivation presented in the books

Motivação para a prática da natação competitiva

A prática esportiva oferece excelentes oportunidades para o enfrentamento de desafios, desenvolver habilidades, planejar metas a serem atingidas e participar de atividades variadas e complexas. A (des) motivação extrínseca no contexto escolar: análise de um estudo de caso

The motivation of the pupils has been pointed as one of the factors that have influenced directly about what and as they learn. The boardings social-cognitivists of the motivation point two orientations: the intrinsic, that it is seen as natural trend of the individual, in which it executes an activity for considering it attractive, and the extrinsical, with the purpose to take care of to requests or pressures of other people, or to demonstrate to aptitudes and abilities. This research investigates the extrinsical motivation and its consequences in the pertaining to school performance of a pupil considered for the professors as having learning difficulties. The results of the research indicate the influence of the pertaining to school and familiar environment in the motivation and, this in the pertaining to school performance of the pupil, pointing the relevance of studies on the thematic one.

Um modelo cognitivo baseado na atenção para consciência em robôs inteligentes

Understanding consciousness is one of the most fascinating challenges of our time. From ancient civilizations to modern philosophers, questions have been asked on how one is conscious of his/her own existence and about the world that surrounds him/her. Although there is no precise definition for consciousness, there is an agreement that it is strongly related to human cognitive processes such as: thinking, reasoning, emotions, wishes. One of the key processes to the arising of the consciousness is the attention, a process capable of promoting a selection of a few stimuli from a huge amount of information that reaches us constantly. Machine consciousness is the field of the artificial intelligence that investigate the possibility of the production of conscious processes in artificial devices. This work presents a review about the theme of consciousness - in both natural and artificial aspects -, discussing this theme from the philosophical and computational perspectives, and investigates the feasibility of the adoption of an attentional schema as the base to the cognitive processing. A formal computational model is proposed for conscious agents that integrates: short and long term memories, reasoning, planning, emotion, decision making, learning, motivation and volition. Computer experiments in a mobile robotics domain under USARSim simulation environment, proposed by RoboCup, suggest that the agent can be able to use these elements to acquire experiences based on environment stimuli. The adoption of the cognitive architecture over the attentional model has potential to allow the emergence of behaviours usually associated to the consciousness in the simulated mobile robots. As demonstrações experimentais e suas implicações na motivação dos alunos para o aprendizado de conceitos científicos

As demonstrações experimentais são atividades de grande tradição na História da Ciência, sendo realizadas desde 1660 na Royal Society, por grandes expoentes da Física, com o objetivo de promover a divulgação dos conhecimentos científicos desenvolvidos.Com o objetivo de contribuir com a melhoria e o interesse dos alunos pelos estudos das Ciências Exatas, bem como a conscientização destes sobre conceitos relacionados à Energia e seu impacto sobre a sociedade e sobre o meio ambiente, temos realizado atividades de demonstrações experimentais, denominadas de “Show de Energia”, nas escolas públicas de Ensino Médio de cidades da Região de Guaratinguetá, interior do Estado de São Paulo. Em cada um dos shows realizados entrevistamos os alunos, através de um questionário estruturado, buscando avaliar o impacto dessa atividade na motivação dos estudantes para o aprendizado de conceitos científicos. Os resultados apontam para a grande influência que a realização dos shows tem exercido sobre a motivação dos estudantes.

Motivação e personal trainning

Currently, health is one of the issues of concern of society. Health can be understood as a direct link between the practice of regular exercise and quality of life. Within this course of reasoning, comes the role of physical education professional. In this perspective, we have the Personal Trainer. Personal Trainer is the professional who makes exercise prescription, individually, with improvement goals fitness and others. This professional is someone trained in Physical Education and has qualification and training for that function. Thus, the aim of this study is to identify the reasons why the practitioners of physical exercise to train under the supervision of a Personal Trainer. To achieve the above goal was accomplished, a review of major studies on the subject. Thus, this work it is a research bibliography. On the literature review it is evident the professional demand due to a cultural change and, moreover, the need for and accessibility of this professional, the Personal Trainer.
