The present study aimed to describe the scales (tests or inventories) commonly used to evaluate the development of babies, in terms of objectives, population in which it is destined to, suggested material, what is evaluated and evaluation criteria. It also intended to analyze studies which employed instruments here described, from the late 90s, considering the objectives,the population evaluated, and the main results obtained and, finally, it aimed to identify health professionals who have employed it, since the articles published. The study highlights the important role of evaluating babies, as information source which help decision taking about the elaboration of essential or early intervention programs. However, it is difficult to find standardized instruments for Brazilian child population.

The package inserts for drugs represent the main source of written information provided to patients, but the deficiency in the page layouts of informational texts (readability), the excess of information and use of techno-scientific language hamper the effectiveness of communication between the author (manufacturer) and player (patient) in addition to the physiological conditions of patients are often elderly. This article discusses these issues from theoretical predictions, and proposes solutions to the adequacy of information graphics package inserts of drugs and facilitating the identification of drug cards.

Religi��o, pol��tica e elei����es na Folha Universal

The Folha Universal, newspaper produced by the Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus (Iurd, abbreviation in Portuguese for Universal Church of the Kingdom of God), reaches an average weekly circulation from 2.5 to 3.5 million copies. Studies indicate that the Folha Universal is not merely an institutional newspaper. It is systematically dedicated to be a source of political information to their readers, in order to publicize candidates and politicians who defend the Iurd���s proposals for the Brazilian public life. This paper describes results of an empirical study on the frames built by the Folha Universal about the social demands, economic and political governance considered as priorities to the public management by the Iurd around five themes of analysis: public safety; children and adolescents care; public health; environment; politics and economy. The results indicate that, as characteristics of the Folha Universal in the four months prior to the 2010 Brazilian elections, aspects that differ from those indicated by previous studies on the newspaper. Previously detected in the pages of Folha Universal as a mean for finding solutions to social problems, the theology of prosperity was in our sample replaced by the formulation of public policies.

Informação e mobiliza����o: a atua����o do jornal O Estado de S. Paulo na campanha constitucionalista de 1932

No levante paulista de 1932, o jornal O Estado de S. Paulo ocupou papel de destaque ao noticiar, com eloq����ncia, as informa����es da guerra que lhe convinha e, principalmente, participar das articula����es que redundariam no entrincheiramento. Entretanto, a atua����o do peri��dico na conjuntura n��o se resume �� manipula����o da not��cia ou deriva meramente do projeto pol��tico de seus diretores. Na ���Revolu����o Constitucionalista��� O Estado de S. Paulo agiu como o porta-voz da elite paulista. Neste texto, portanto, pretendo problematizar a participa����o do jornal O Estado de S. Paulo no levante de 1932, enfatizando sua condi����o de fonte e objeto para a produ����o do conhecimento hist��rico.
