A resistência e o mecanismo de corrosão das ligas de alumínio 2024, 7010, 7050 e 7475 foram estudados em solução de NaCl. Os efeitos do tratamento térmico nas ligas, concentração de oxigênio, pH, adição de oxi-ânions e temperatura do meio constituem algumas das variáveis estudadas. Primeiramente, procedeu-se à caracterização físicoquímica dos materiais através de análise química e metalográfica, mediante microscopia eletrônica de varredura e espectroscopia de energia dispersiva. As ligas 2024, 7010, 7050 e 7475 como recebidas, recozidas e envelhecidas, revelaram a existência de partículas ternárias e quaternárias, constituídas por Al:Cu:Fe e Mg ou Zn. Também foi observado um maior número de partículas pequenas de composição variável situando-se, preferencialmente, nos contornos dos grãos. Os resultados dos ensaios de corrosão em meios aerados e desaerados indicam que o cromato é efetivo como inibidor da corrosão localizada em ambas ligas e que o molibdato somente na liga 7050. O efeito inibidor do tungstato se revela em meio desaerado e é comparativamente menor daquele observado com os outros oxi-ânions. As análises quantitativas de superfície das ligas após os ensaios de imersão indicam que ainda na presença de inibidor, se pites foram nucleados, eles crescem.

In order to to research, the region of Perau, base metal mineralization, Grupo Votorantim Metals conducted a soil sampling on targets predetermined holding its chemical analysis. These reviews have been provided by the company for this work was to evaluate the potential use of these data pedogeochemical multi-element for refinement of the work of geological mapping. We selected six targets: Varginha, Salvador, Guararema Taquara Lisa and Coffin of Mendes, in the municipalities of Adrianople, Cerro Azul and Tunas do Paraná, located in Vale do Ribeira (PR). Both have about 10 km2 and situated in the geological context of the Fold Belt Terrane and the Massif de Joinville. The main rock types are present metasedimentary rocks of low to medium grade metamorphic, interspersed the amphibolites ortoderivados, both belonging to the Complex Perau, gneisses and migmatitic Complex. Applied to the geochemical data descriptive statistical techniques (variogram, kriging and histogram). From the correlation between the distributions of elements with the geological data, we could assess the potential of the proposed methodology.

In the Serra de Jacobina, localized in the North Central portion of the state of Bahia, occours the Jacobina Group. It’s a sedimentary basin and the gold deposit is stocked on the basal portion, which consist on quartzites intercalated with oligomítico metaconglomerates of Serra do Córrego Formation. There are controversies about the origin of the gold mineralization, but the currently most accepted hypothesis corresponds to a paleoplacer deposit with subsequent ore remobilization and concentration by hydrothermal process. The sulphidation is one of the main results of hydrothermal process, which was more detail characterized, besides identifying if there was more than one sulfides phase generation and its relationship with gold mineralization. The analyzes were performed from the main reef's (metaconglomerates mineralized levels) of Mine Canavieiras: Maneira, Holandez, Liberino, Piritoso, MU and LU. Chemical analyzes semi-quantitative were developed with EDS in MEV and also petrographics analyses. The main sulfide is pyrite, followed by chalcopyrite. Six groups of pyrite were classified according with chemical composition, however they show similarities in their habit and occurrence. Were identified four types of chlorite, labeled A, B, C, D. Gold occurs in free form, associate to pyrites, to Fe-Ti-Muscovite, to chlorite type B and to microfractures with iron hydroxide. Gold presents three different compositions: pure, with Ag or associated with U-Zr. The results of chemical analysis showed that the hydrothermal process have as their main source, ultramafic rocks present in the Jacobina Basin

In the present study it was investigated, in plant and population scale, the relationship between the amount of resource and body size, species diversity and abundance and biomass of bruchids and their parasitoids. Possible effects of resource quality (soil quality and concentration of tannins in seeds) in response to the variables mentioned above were also analyzed. Mimosa bimucronata fruits were collected in two areas during the occurrence of bruchids during the years 2009 and 2010. Only the species of bruchid Acanthoscelides schrankiae was found infesting the fruits of M. bimucronata. The parasitoids belong to families Braconidae, Encyrtidae, Eulophidae, Eupelmidae, Eurytomidae and Pteromalidae. Most local-level analysis showed no significant results for both years of collection and study areas. There was only significant result for the relationship between the biomass of parasitoids and the concentration of tannins considering the year 2009 (negative trend). The soil from Lageado showed higher percentages of silt and clay. With respect to chemical analysis, pH, cation exchange capacity, and concentrations of organic matter, potassium, calcium and magnesium were all significantly higher in soil from Lageado. Therefore, it was found that the plants from Lageado are growing in more fertile soils. However, it was found that the amount of fruits and seeds was significantly higher in Rubião. Comparisons of the abundance of bruchids and parasitoids diversity among the areas that showed the highest values were observed in Rubião. In this study it was found that the abundance of bruchids and parasitoids, as well as the diversity of parasitoids was greatest in the area that had higher amounts of fruits and seeds, suggesting a significant relationship between the amount of resources and the abundance and diversity. The objective of this study was to characterize energetically beersmade withhoney. The tests of beer production weremade withninetreatments,threecombination of the originalextract concentrations (11, 13and 15 °Brix) and threepercentagesof honeyin the wort formulation(0, 20 and 40%).The experimentwas completely randomizedwith two replications, totaling eighteenplots.Themashingprocesswas performed byinfusion, with honey added in the boiling step. After clarified, the wort had its extract contents corrected with the addition of filtered water and was inoculated withlowfermentation yeast .The fermentation occurred at 10 ° C. The beer was manually bottled and stored in a freezer at 0 °C for 15 days, formaturation. The beers were chemically analyzed on proximate composition (moisture, protein, lipid, ash, and carbohydrate), alcohol content (% m / m) and then calculated the energy value. The results ofchemical analysis andenergetic valuesof the beerswere subjected to analysisof variance (F test) and the means werecompared byTukey testat 5% probability. The commonbeershad the lowestenergy value (31.05 to 31.95 kcal100g-1) in relation toextra(36.42 to 38.42 kcal100g-1) and strong(38.20 to 40.17 kcal100g-1) beers. Theincrease in the original extractin beerraises theircaloric values. The presenceof honeyin the formulationincreasedthe energetic valuesincommon andextrabeersand decreasedin strong.The levelsof alcohol andcarbohydratewere predominant in thebeer energetic values,beingpossible to observeadirect relation amongthese components ofbeer and theircaloric value.
