Identidade e reconhecimento na cultura de rua

Direct descendant of the music of the Black Atlantic, hip hop became the spokesman of excluded minorities, for example setting up of the reunification that is geographically separated through communication. The hip hop appropriated new forms of mass communication, allowing the reworking of the story through a counter-hegemonic discourse that seeks self-knowledge and appreciation of the roots of black people. The street culture is the narrative of disenfranchised youth, generating narrative of inclusion, which gave a space of enunciation periphery enabling them to intersubjective recognition. This project aims to discuss the role of hip hop as an agent conscientizing youth peripherals in order to bring to the debate the form of identity construction around the peripheral street culture since, as an intervention that acts as a symbolic system guiding cultural practices and attitudes of these young people. Methodologically, we analyzed specific bibliographical about hip hop and literature originating from the periphery itself. Selected discography of some rap groups. They are Racionais Mc's, 509-E and DJ Hum and Thaíde that constitute the vanguard of hip hop in Brazil. We use music from rapper Emicida this while some contemporary exponents of rap, with national and international. Os rapazes da Rua Panisperna e os centomila Majorana: os fatos e as versões literária e audiovisual

While a certain novel ponders about the traces left by Ettore Majorana and expounds some theories about the fate of the character mysteriously disappeared, a movie by Gianni Amelio also inspirited by facts goes through another path, of the story of Via Panisperna boys, stressing the enigmatic figure of Ettore Majorana and the exciting episodes surrounding some of the greatest physicists of the world. When Leonardo Sciascia publishes the novel in which he uses the actual fact of Ettore Majorana’s disappearance in order to create what he calls a “philosophical novel of mystery”, the public had already probably forgotten the intriguing events of 1938: the young and bright physicist disappeared, by all accounts, voluntarily, without leaving proofs of his death or reliable evidence of his whereabouts. In 1972, Sciascia learns about mysterious clues by means of Erasmo Recami and considers the motives that could have made Majorana leave Italy and later abandon his life almost in the mode fictionalized by Pirandello.

Presença de fatores de risco dependentes ou não de esforço físico em praticantes de corrida de rua

In order to reduce the sedentarism and to improve population's health condition, many physical activity incentive programs have been stimulated. As a result, many people have adhered to street racing, but their health condition is almost always ignored. The aim of this study was to evaluate street racers' health condition, identifying the presence of cardiovascular risk factors as well as problems associated to street racing. The study case was composed by 111 racers from the town of Bauru (94 men and 17 women) aged in average 39±13 years old, who were evaluated in 4 street race competitions. The subjects answered to an anamnesis with questions about their socioeconomic status, medicine use, cardiovascular risk, physical exercise practices, and issues related to racing and injury. Weight (kg) and height (m) were measured to calculate the body mass index (BMI, kg/m²) as well as systolic and diastolic blood pressure (BP), heart rate (HR), abdominal circumference (AC), and flexibility. It could be observed that the majority of racers were Caucasian, married and belonged to social classes over C. The prevalent age was between 18 and 35 years old (42%). Among the participants, 38.7% have already undergone some kind of surgery and 13% declared having some health problem. The questionnaire pointed out that 36% had low and moderate cardiovascular risk. It could be noticed from the AC that 10% of men and 18% of women had high cardiac risk. Among the tested, 43.2% (24.3% altered and 18.9% borderline) showed high BP on the day of the test, but only 2.7% had self-declared hypertensive. In relation to injury, 36% had already had lesions of some kind, 27.5% of which had occurred in the last 8 months. 66.6% had derived from training or racing competitions and the knee was the mostly affected body part. This paper aims to present a study about the importance of Education as a public policy for the integral development of children and adolescents in street situation. As theoretical foundation, the authors used constructs from the National Policy of Special Education in the perspective of Inclusive Education, the Statute of the Child and Adolescent emphasizing the importance of family and social networks as a way to protect children and adolescents who left school and live under the precarious situation of street. In this sense, the National Policy of Special Education in the perspective of Inclusive Education has just pointed to the issues that pass by the inclusion of these children and adolescents to put them back to school. To do this, it is necessary to implement policies designed to the care of children and adolescents victimized by the living on the streets.

A estética japonesa na cultura brasileira: reflexões a partir de um estudo etnofotográfico sobre a performance ritual da festa da Cerejeira de Garça-SP

Aiming to understand the Japanese aesthetic in Brazilian culture and to produce a photographic exhibition of artistic and ethnographic nature, we performed a symbolic exegesis of the ritual performance of Garça Cherry Festival - SP (Brazil). The event takes place annually and is held in memory and honor of oriental culture. The festival features various elements of Japanese culture through expressive forms such as dance, music, costumes, martial arts and cooking. Therefore, the study was based on the anthropology of performance and visual anthropology with regard to symbolic exegesis of the party and look artistic and ethnographic photographic records of the proceedings. Such procedures supported the realization of artistic display that contributed, in turn, in promoting the local culture to a wider audience, and, methodologically, have contributed in visual identification and interpretation of the cultural elements of the ceremony.

Avaliação econômica das perdas de banana no mercado varejista: um estudo de caso

O objetivo do presente estudo foi a determinação das perdas físicas e econômicas de banana em diferentes equipamentos varejistas na Cidade de Botucatu - SP e suas possíveis causas. Os equipamentos foram sorteados aleatoriamente. As informações foram coletadas através da aplicação de questionário para a determinação das perdas de três variedades de banana. O resultado mostrou perda global de 39 toneladas, correspondente a 11,1% da quantidade comercializada, sendo 10,5% em supermercados, 15,0% em quitandas/sacolões e 10,6% em feiras livres. O valor total das perdas anuais atingiu R$ 35.038,00, em valores de maio de 2002. A manipulação excessiva do cliente, excedente de oferta, uso de embalagem inadequada e baixa qualidade da fruta foram as principais causas de perdas. Conclui-se pela necessidade de conscientização do cliente, do uso de embalagens plásticas e de cuidados no manuseio da fruta durante toda pós-colheita.

A tripla perspectiva: a vinda, a permanência e a volta de estudantes angolanos no Brasil

Este artigo é uma reflexão sobre o papel que as universidades paulistas e paranaenses desempenham no processo de formação acadêmica dos estudantes dos Países Africanos de Língua Oficial Portuguesa (Palop), em particular os angolanos. Essa formação na instituição de ensino superior propicia novos diálogos e novas sínteses identitárias possibilitadas por outras práticas culturais apreendidas no contato com alunos, docentes, funcionários, instituições acadêmicas e de pesquisa que ignoram a realidade vivenciada por eles em Angola. Constituiremos, assim, o cenário histórico-cultural; o percurso acadêmico e identitário do estudante angolano; o contexto estudantil angolano; a história recente desse país; o lugar do intelectual e do professor universitário; o papel e o uso da língua portuguesa no Brasil e em Angola no ambiente estudantil, familiar e na rua. Buscamos entender o imaginário do jovem estudante intercambista angolano que convive com os conflitos do estigma do migrante temporário e do estereótipo do refugiado de guerra.

Saúde do trabalhador no SUS: desafios e perspectivas frente à precarização do trabalho

Refletir sobre o campo saúde do(a) trabalhador(a) é o objetivo deste estudo. Busca-se sublinhar o significado das condições de trabalho para o ser humano do ponto de vista da saúde. A premissa não é quantificar, mas inferir que as condições de trabalho podem gerar danos à saúde, mas nem sempre apresentam de imediato a sua relação com o trabalho. São discutidas, a partir da abordagem qualitativa, três situações, as quais contemplam os trabalhos rural, informal e infantil e, como resultado, verifica-se a contradição da categoria trabalho, que, se por um lado é sinônimo de sociabilidade, por outro, contraditoriamente, constitui-se em mecanismo de exclusão social na medida em que é realizado sem o reconhecimento dos direitos sociais e trabalhistas. Verifica-se a expansão de formas de trabalho sem regulamentação, tais como o domiciliar e o familiar e os realizados em locais como a rua e o lixo. Encerra-se a reflexão com destaque ao papel do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) na assistência integral à saúde dos(as) trabalhadores(as) e ao desafio de atuar na perspectiva de prevenção e promoção da saúde do trabalhador de modo integrado e articulado aos demais órgãos públicos que atuam nesta área.

Ce travail présente l'image du diable qui jouait un rôle important dans la culture populaire du Moyen Âge. Des fêtes comme le Carnaval, la Fête des Fous, la Fête de l'Âne, m'ont permis voir, a travers le symbole du diable, l'interaction de deux formes de culture: la première, sérieuse, religieuse, féodale - ayant un rapport avec le monde des institutions du Moyen Âge; l'autre, comique, irrévérencieuse, profane liée au monde médiéval en dehor des institutions.
