Intervenções com a atividade física em crianças e adolescentes com deficiência intelectual: uma meta-análise

Abstract Intellectual disability is development atypical conditions that involve issues on a number of factors, such as intellectual skills, adaptive behavior, interactions and social roles. Furthermore, they report higher rates of physical inactivity than the general population, as well as participating less and less of regular physical activity, as they grow and age. The participation of people with intellectual disabilities in physical activity programs promotes, benefits of prevention of diseases, particularly cardiovascular, improvement of intellectual and cognitive ability in addition, regular physical activity promotes reduction of body fat. Therefore the aim of this study was to identify through a systematic review, physical activity programs for adults with intellectual disabilities and their extension of the benefits, limitations and recommendations, moreover, the following objectives: to analyze the types of physical activity programs and determine which is the most suitable for adults with intellectual disabilities, and to determine the benefits that physical exercises programs entail for adults with intellectual disabilities. The initial electronic search resulted in 2808 manuscripts. The predetermined exclusion criteria were: review process of the studies involved reading titles, abstracts and full texts checking. After all these phases, eight manuscripts met the inclusion criteria of the review. Articles presented participants aged between 18 and 67 years with mild to moderate intellectual disability. The intervention period was from 2.5 months studies ranged up to 9 months and the weekly frequency was from one to three times a week. In this research, qualitative, aimed to analyze the meanings assigned by Physical Education teachers to the relationship between continuing education and professional development stages. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with eight state public school teachers of Bauru/SP. The data were analyzed following the theory referential of HUBERMAN (2000), relatively to the concept of professional life cycles, and found that as well as other factors of the teaching career, on the extent of continuing education teachers also have different needs at each moment professional. In summary concluded: the early stage to teaching, they seek activities to improve pedagogical practice; stabilization phase: to solve problems in the educational context and to disseminate the academic content between teachers; diversifi cation phase: to provide a basis to work new content and to make constant updates according to educational innovations; serenity/exit: they feel the need to attend training activities in different spaces of the school.

Entre fadas e alienígenas: desenhos animados televisivos, ética e educação física nos primeiros anos do ensino fundamental

This paper seeks to understand the mediation of cultural products devoted to childhood in the children's play culture. This research focused on a dialogue between the TV cartoons, which are foods to playfulness and fantasy that characterize childhood cultures; the ethics, because the questioning of symbolic mediators (ideas, values, norms, rules) are essential to reflect on the society we want to live, and Physical Education as a curriculum component, shall contribute to the critical mediation of the body culture and the sports arising out from the media, which has close relation with the practical and moral problems that arise in the classroom. To analyze the narrative structures of cartoons we have adopted the comprehensive methodology of Joan Ferrés. Such method suggests a hermeneuticphenomenological approach, which allowed to access Paul Ricoeur’s hermeneutics; as one interpretative method, it allows the reflection on our values, and also the values presented by the audiovisual product, and possible changes. Successive readings indicate that the narrative structure of TV cartoons responds to a double moral standard, which are constructed from stereotyped models between good and evil, right and wrong, villain and hero, and propose universal role models of conduct. However, some cartoons, mostly based on animé productions, have broader visions of the human common living experiences. We concluded that the current symbolic production of childhood cultures proposes one challenge to the Physical Education teacher: the critical mediation of values related to the movement body culture. Along with the support of moral philosophy, it can target his/her practice for understanding the different manners of (re)creation of the ways, and the living in society.

Interpretando la estrutura curricular de programas brasileños de licenciatura en Física, a partir de una perspectiva epistemológica de la Didáctica de la Física

This study aims to contribute to understanding the complexity related to the definition and practice of "Didactics of Physics" in initial physics teachers training. We intend to make evident how is understood the Didactics of Physics in curricular organizations, since an "observation" from a perspective based on an analysis of theoretical frameworks of Science Teaching, according to which "Didactics of Physics" is an articulating axis between different disciplines and constitutes the knowledge body to be taught in order to teachers learn to teach physics. For that, we used techniques of documentary analysis, constituting a text from a systematic search of information about Physics teachers’ initial education programs, looking for criteria justifying their organizations and contents of disciplines that aim to contribute to the training for teaching, in a study carried out during 2011. We found on these curricular organizations the presence of disciplines in fields such as: Exact Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences and Teaching Practice, which indicates a consideration of interdisciplinary training which must receive the future teacher. However, without being consistent with Science Education' epistemology, requesting the integration of interdisciplinary knowledge to solve problems related to teach physics in high school, with some exceptions in the preparation for the subject "traineeship" or training for "Didactic transposition", but since different interpretations.

Entre os muros da escola: o saber experiencial emergente nas aulas de educação física da periferia

This study aimed to analyze the teachers´ knowledge of a physical education teacher network state of São Paulo. The interviewed reported having problems regarding the use of the court, especially because there is invasion of the community to smoking marijuana and/ou playing football, revealing the predominance of experiential knowledge to work in a new school, whose location and local culture do not seem to prioritize this social space as learning, dissemination and preservation of other bodily manifestations of the process of human civilization. It was found in such a setting an imbalance of the relative strengths of power between teacher and students, from schools, football and drugs in relation to body movement culture, it being understood that the relationships between these individuals are interdependent and dynamic. Finally, it urges an integrated process in educational, family, social and political fields from the perspective of balancing forces in relation to the use of that space, providing conditions for teaching and propagation of content (games, sports, gymnastics, dances and fights) of the body movement culture.
