As organizações e a ISO 26000: revisão dos conceitos, dos motivadores e das barreiras de implementação

ISO 26000, published in 2010, focuses on corporate social responsibility. This study presents a systematic review conducted in ISI Web of Knowledge (Web of Science) and Elsevier's Scopus databases to answer the following question: What are the barriers and motivators affecting the adoption of ISO 26000 by organizations? The articles were selected using filters that applied two inclusion criteria. The data were summarized in a table covering the concepts of ISO 26000, the motivators, and the barriers. The motivators were globalization or competition in international markets, congruence with management systems, reputation or image, relationship with employees and improvement of the organizational environment, improvement in the relationship with external stakeholders, competitive advantage and strategy, guide to corporate social responsibility (CSR), and reduction of business risks. The barriers were lack of alignment between CSR and organizational strategy; business (national and international); unfamiliarity with ISO 26000; lack of communication, tools and sensitivity to the subject; short-term focus; knowledge management; fear of not fulfilling the standard; and financial resources. Finally, an agenda for future studies was prepared.

Aplicações de um potencial reativo no estudo da interação entre moléculas e superfícies bidimensionais

In materials science, the search for technological improvements have become one of the main subject of study of researchers. This is especially true in the case of materials with reduced sizes, in the nanometer scale. Important phenomena to be studied in these cases are the desorption and adsorption on two-dimensional materials, such as graphene. These phenomena are of great importance in the study of interactions between organic films, synthesis or catalysis of reactions on surfaces and even in the creation of nanoscale devices [1, 2, 3, 4]. Between the most important topics related to these phenomena are the storage of gases in low-dimensional systems and the study of nanostructured fuel cells or batteries. In this context we used two different parametrizations for the reactive force field ReaxFF to study the potential barriers and reaction barriers of our system. First we made a study about the Reaction Barriers and Energy Barriers for bonds between graphene and the following atoms: sulfur, fluorine, hydrogen, nitrogen and oxygen. It is important to have this information in order to make it possible to understand how these atoms react with the graphene sheet. Subsequently, we calculate reaction barriers for mixed structures where fluorine is a fixed element bonded to graphene and other element is simultaneously bonded to graphene. This other element (N, O, H or S) is varied in its possible relative positions (ortho, meta and para in relation to fluorine in either: the same side and in the opposite side of the graphene membrane)

Mudanças estruturais nas cadeias de valor na indústria do vestuário: um estudo de caso

In the early 1990 Gary Gereffi and Miguel Korzeniewicz published the book Commodity Chains and Global Capitalism. In the two decades prior to the publication, industrialization worldwide, had undergone significant changes, made more segmented and dispersed in certain regions. In the book, the authors produce a new set of categories to analyze the new standards for establishment and operation of global value chains, their organization, the new geography of manufacturing and the role of the countries in this scenario. Today, in the middle of the second decade of this century, world trade has expanded and multiplied continuously throughout this period, encouraged by reducing barriers and national borders promoted by 'peddlers' of this new era. This paper sought to deepen, investigate and analyze the institutional and organizational obstacles of public policies for food security programs, in a period of change in municipal management. Our aim is besides de obstacles, to identify the efficacy and effectiveness of SAN social network, highlighting the National Program of School Food – PNAE. The analysis focuses the city of Araraquara and its food security program network in its relationship with the settlements, highlighting its cultural and productive particularities.

Oportunidades e desafios para lidar com as barreiras à adoção de práticas de green supply chain management: guidelines à luz de um estudo de múltiplos casos no Brasil

This article aims to discuss how leading companies of the automotive battery industry installed in Brazil are dealing with barriers to the adoption of green supply chain management (GSCM) practices. From these discussions, we list the opportunities and challenges to the automotive battery sector in incorporating GSCM actions. We conducted a multiple-case study with the top five companies in this sector. The highlight factors are “organizational values” and “human resources” for internal barriers, and “suppliers” and “consumers” for external barriers.

Arte reversa: aplicando a engenharia reversa na arte

This study aimed to examine the reverse engineering and respond to a concern about the possible application of this concept in art, breaking down barriers and breaking paradigms. Using 3D scanning, the art of computer aided design and manufacturing – CAD/CAM, machining by computer numerical control - CNC, engineering, and applying this methodology in the arts especially in sculpture, it is possible to dematerialize a artwork, virtualizes it in 3D programs, make speeches, and process a new work, a new art elsewhere. By the example of surgeries at a distance, the artist, or technical author could produce their works, and materialize them anywhere. In other words, do the reverse gear. It discusses the relationship between art and technology, the role of the author, the viewer, which can interfere with the interactivity that case by stating that art, exists only in the look and feel of the viewer.

Inclusão escolar, necessidades educacionais especiais e ensino de ciências: alguns apontamentos

We can notice in the different sectors of the society a significant increase of individuals that possess some type of deficiency. Although there is an increasing process of inclusion, we find, even in Educational Institutions, barriers and limited conceptions on this subject. Thus, aiming at clarifying some questions related to this subject, we present some debates found in the literature about the Inclusive Education, Special Education and the construction of inclusive education strategies.

Análise das dificuldades e viabilidades para a inclusão do aluno com deficiência visual em aulas de termologia

This article is part of a study that seeks to understand what are the main barriers and alternatives for inclusion of students with visual impairments in the context of physics education. Presents and discusses the difficulties and feasibility to include the blind for birth student in thermology’ classes. Through content analysis identifies four classes of functioning implies difficulties and feasibility. In conclusion, emphasizes the importance of creating appropriate communication environments, the inclusive function of element interactivity, as well as the need for dismissal of a segregated environment within the classroom.
