The technologies are advancing at a pace so expressive that allow the increase of the power quality from generation until the distribution to end customers. This improvement has been made possible through the automation of the energy that follows to a better quality of the energy provided, a lower energy supply disruptions and a very short recovery time. The trend of today and the near future is the distributed energy generation. To keep the automated control of the chain, the presence of Smart Grids is needed and that will be the most efficient and economical way to manage the entire system. Within this theme, is going to be necessary analyze the electric cars that promise to promote a more sustainable transport because it doesn’t uses fossil fuels, and more healthy because it does not emit pollutants into the atmosphere. The popularization of this type of vehicle is estimated to happen in a few decades and the case study analyzing its influence on the demand of the electrical system is something that will be very important in the near future. The most usual method to fix supports that hold the vast majority of electrical cables on an aircraft is accomplished by using, for this purpose, rivets. However, this procedure may some cause some inconveniences such as the need of effecting holes in the structure that is intended to fix these supports, thus decreasing resistance of the structure. In order to have an alternative to seek an increase in the performance of structured materials, the aircraft industry, like other industries, have been studying the use of collage as a method of replacing this usual forms. Against this backdrop, this paper aims to assess the strength and durability of a joint bonded using the adhesive EA9394, manufactured by company Henkel Corporation, and perform a careful survey of the mechanical performance of riveted structures, taking into account different types of conditioning environment and thus create a database that can be used by the aerospace industry

This work presents a proposal to replace thetraditional system of traction electric car that usesone electric motor and a mechanical differential, by two electric motors of lower power, controlled byelectronic control low cost. The proposed control isopen loop and uses the technique of Pulse WidthModulation (PWM), discrete and synchronizedaiming to reduce the generation of harmonics. The implementation of two smaller motor one on each wheel-drive distributes the weight of the vehicle, improving the heat exchange of the windings,beyond enable the power components supporting a current of 50% predicted for only one motor . The solution adopted for being open-loop, has a similar behavior to the mechanical differential, where theeffort imposed by the trajectory makes the velocity distribution between the wheels be appropriate tovehicle trajectory

Due to the high level of service required by customers and the constant need to reduce costs, the logistics can be considered as a strategic area for a company. In particular, the order picking is responsible for most of the operating costs in a warehouse. Therefore it’s necessary to plan the materials storage in order to maximize the space available and minimize the total distance traveled to meet customer orders. For these reasons, this study aims to examine and propose a way to organize the electrical materials storage in distribution centers through a study on an electronics company in Cajamar

This paper presents a technique to add flexibility in the control of power electronic converters. The power converter can function as an active power filter, as a local power source interface or perform both functions i. e. mitigate current disturbances and inject power into the grid simultaneously, configuring it as a multifunctional device. The main goal is to extract the full capability of the grid connected power electronic converter to achieve maximum benefits. To achieve this goal, the orthogonal current decomposition of the Conservative Power Theory is used. Each orthogonal current component is weighted by means of different compensation factors (k_i), which are set instantaneously and independently, in any percentage by means of the load performance factors (λ_i), providing an online flexibility in relation to compensation objectives. Finally, to validate the effectiveness and performance the proposed approach, simulations and experimental results are presented.

As relações entre Brasil e China vêm se estreitando ao longo dos anos, principalmente após a entrada da China na OMC em 2001, o que os tornou grandes parceiros comerciais. Esse padrão de comércio é marcado pela exportação de produtos brasileiros abundantes em recursos naturais e importação de produtos chineses de alto uso tecnológico. Sendo assim, é notável que a grande expansão da economia Chinesa reproduz grandes impactos no meio ambiente. Entretanto, o governo Chinês mostra sinais de preocupação e está buscando formas de amenizar os problemas. Como a prioridade do governo é a prevenção de mais danos ambientais, o uso de barreiras não tarifárias de caráter ambiental é cada vez mais frequente. O presente trabalho analisa o uso dessas barreiras técnicas e seus impactos na exportação de produtos brasileiros à China. Foram calculados coeficientes que mostram, junto a outros dados empíricos, que há uma forte proteção dos produtos Reatores Nucleares (HS84), Máquinas e aparelhos elétricos (HS85) e Automóveis e tratores (HS87) quanto a essas barreiras

The industry of sugar cane has become an important contributor to the generation of electricity in Brazil. Currently there are 434 sugar and ethanol plants operating in the country, 23% of the total export electricity to the National Integrated System (SIN), the state of São Paulo has 182 plants and 30% of them export energy to the SIN. The objective of this study is to compare parameters of electrical efficiency in the sugar and alcohol industry. For the study, three plants localized in the midwest region of Sao Paulo state with great potential for production and exporting bioenergy were chosen. Five energy analyzers LANDYS + GYR SAGA were used for measure the electrical parameters. The variables studied were energy consumption (C) and power factor (PF). For the statistical analysis it was adopteda randomized block design in a factorial 3 5composed of three companies and five sectors of energy consumption,in which: reception(1), milling (2), boiler (3), supporting activities / juice treatment (4), and distillation (5), totaling 15 treatments. Each group comprised 192 repetitions (48 hours 4 measurements per hour). It was concluded that there is no interest for the plans to fix the FP and reach a value 0.92, which is considered the ideal power factor.This,because the plants generate their own energy and are not penalized. Regarding the energy consumed, all sectors had significant differences. When comparingsector to sector, the plant called USB showed no significant differences in sectors 1 and 3, and the plant USC, in sectors 1 and 4. Considering the production units of this sector and selling power this type of evaluation is essential to perform this analysis, since the analyzed sectors are most important in the production of sugar and ethanol, and analyze and monitor these parameters, use and consumption energy can provide a greater supply of energy to be commercialized.

É comum nas áreas rurais a utilização de métodos de irrigação que consistem em bombear a água de açudes, lagoas e rios para irrigar a terra onde está sendo cultivada determinada cultura. Em geral esse bombeamento é feito por motores movidos á energia elétrica ou á óleo diesel. Este trabalho visa avaliar os motores elétricos de baixa potência que são usados para irrigar pequenas áreas plantadas através de bombeamento de água de açudes, lagoas etc. Os métodos a serem usados competem á aplicação da Física e do Calculo Diferencial e Integral, através do uso de conceitos,integrais definidas e do uso de sólidos de revolução para simulação. Poderão ser feitas associações entre vazão de água, potência necessária para o serviço, a quantidade de tempo que a reserva de água sustenta o bombeamento. Depois de feito os cálculos pode se concluir sobre o tipo de motor e potencia mais adequada para tal serviço. Este projeto visa avaliar o desempenho de motores elétrico de baixa potencia no bombeamento de água através de métodos pertinentes ao calculo diferencial e integral e ao mesmo tempo poder mostrar uma das várias aplicações desta disciplina. Após os cálculos realizados espera-se obter conclusões sobre os motores elétricos e fazer a associação do serviço que é recomendado para o seu uso. Serão utilizados métodos do cálculo diferencial e Integral para a avaliação do desempenho do motor e conceitos da Física para determinação e associação entre potência dissipada e vazão de água.
