The purpose of this article is to identify the contributions of Information Systems (IS) for environmental management practices, as well as the opportunities and challenges in this relation. Thus, we performed two case studies with Brazilian enterprises certified ISO 14001, by conducting interviews, document analysis and direct observation. As results, we present the identification of the main contributions of information systems for environmental management practices in the studied cases, the verification that a more advanced stage regarding IS is a factor that implies a more effective contribution, besides finding challenges and opportunities in this relation. The main contribution of this research consists of the presentation of a framework that identifies the support of information systems for environmental practices.

Análise da relação instituição escolar e família na revista Nova Escola

O trabalho buscou investigar como uma revista de grande circulação entre os professores do ensino básico trata a questão da relação entre escolafamília. O motivo pelo qual buscamos pesquisar sobre o assunto é o fato dos professores recorrerem a este tipo de material, que acaba normatizando a sua prática. No entanto, será esta leitura adequada? Qual a real contribuição da revista? Fazendo uma comparação com a literatura científica o que poderemos constatar? Como metodologia foi feita uma análise documental das Revistas Nova Escola durante os últimos 5 anos, do período de junho de 2006 à junho de 2010. Analisou-se todas as revistas correspondente ao período indicado e selecionado somente os artigos que falavam sobre a relação escola-família. Posteriormente foi feita uma análise quantitativa e qualitativa dos artigos através da Análise de Conteúdo dos mesmos, analisando os dados à luz do embasamento teórico sobre o assunto, fazendo uma comparação com a literatura. Observou-se com a pesquisa que embora a quantidade de reportagens abordando o assunto família-escola fosse em pequena quantidade, eram muito coerentes e continham embasamentos teóricos indiretos.

Uma análise nos livros de ocorrência de uma escola periférica

O objetivo geral desta pesquisa foi dar continuidade aos projetos de investigação sobre a temática: Jovens e Violência, e analisar uma parte do Projeto aprovado pela Fapesp “Violência de Jovens e violência escolar: estudo sob a ótica do imaginário escolar e da Inserção Social.” Tendo como objetivos específicos, identificar as principais ações registradas nos Livros de Ocorrência pelos professores e as principais providencias tomadas pela escola. Para tanto foram analisados os livros de ocorrência de uma escola situada em um bairro da periferia da cidade de Rio Claro. As TIC nos cursos de pedagogia da UNESP: análise do currículo para formação de professores

Over the years, society changes, renews and creates conditions for the use of new technological devices. The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to expand in our society and are used also in teaching and learning, making it necessary that the teacher knows them. This study was first to analyze the curriculum of teacher training at the campus of UNESP, specifically in relation to courses Full Degree in Education in order to understand how these courses are structured in relation to the subjects they deal with ICT. For this, we searched the literature on the main issues involving technology and teacher education, curriculum and document analysis of Pedagogy of UNESP. It was noted that only the Faculty of Education offers the campus of Bauru disciplines working technology issues centrally. From this result, the second objective of this research was to understand, through a questionnaire, the views of students of Bauru, enrolled in these disciplines, on the Distance Education. With the results of the questionnaires it was concluded that students rated as important the knowledge of technological tools, made possible by specific disciplines during their training was noted the positive contribution of a comprehensive curriculum with respect to knowledge of ICT for reflection and formation of critical thinking in teachers training

Marcas da formação escolar, acadêmica e docente: uma análise dos memoriais de formação de alunos(as) do PROESF

This work describes and contextualizes the PROESF - Special Program for Teacher Training Exercise in the early grades of elementary school and children education in municipal schools of metropolitan region of Campinas. The PROESF was organized by University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and remained from 2002 to 2005 graduated about 1600 teachers. The objetives of this course was provide pedagogy formation to teachers in activity in elementary schools and children schools from municipalities of this region. The course also intended to improve the quality of the education and teachers formation. At the final part of course, the teachers had to elaborating a memorial of formation. These materials can be accessed on the website of UNICAMP. The contribution of these memorial of formations can help to think about the teachers formation. This study was a qualitative research from these materials for 2008, and the objective is to identify the marks the formation perceived by these teachers and contributions for them formation. It is understood by marks the formation school memories significant for this group of teachers, stressing the points of what the academic formation contributes for the teacher in day-to-day in the school and what life in the classroom as a teacher marked the teaching practice. Educação ambiental nos anos finais do ensino fundamental em uma escola do campo: uma análise a partir do projeto político pedagógico

Environmental education (EE), a critical component to face the environmental crisis, must be present in formal education in a continuous, permanent and transversal way. Studies show, however, that EE occurs, often, in a sporadic and discontinuous way, and that it is mainly linked to Sciences. The objective of this study was to investigate the inclusion of environmental subjects in the Political Pedagogical Project (PPP) of a rural school, in Araraquara, SP. Through documentary analysis of the PPP, proposals for the Environmental Education for the last years of elementary education were examined. The results allowed the understanding, in a complex and contextualized way, of aspects related to the presence of environmental subjects in the school curriculum. They reveal that the suggestion of working with Environment attend the recommendations of the conference of Tbilisi and of Brazilian National Curriculum (PCN).
