This experimental project consists of a proposal for an editorial product in a magazine format that approaches in its pages the aspects on the use of social media on internet. For the production of the reports the spheres of sociability, leisure and professional development were explored. The editorial product approached the editorials of sociability, leisure, culture, ethics, consumption, politics and sports. The influence of the social media was demonstrated in the scope of each of these editorials. The magazine, named Follow, was elaborated in order to reach readers ranging from 21 to 60 years old, with an accessible language. The first edition of Follow was concluded in November 2010, with the format 17,5 X 25,4 cm. The magazine has 40 pages of editorial content and 4 pages corresponding to the cover and back cover. Follow’s production proposed itself as a contribution to the practices of editorial innovation in the communication market

Jornalismo nas redes sociais: o uso do facebook pelos jornais Estadão e Folha de São Paulo

This study aims to discuss the social media presence of the Brazilian newspapers Estadão and Folha de São Paulo, and how both have been working their way of communication on Facebook, the world famous social network. This study conducts a theoretical and conceptual review on the social media field and the digital media tendencies of journalism. It is also pointed out how the fanpages development was conceived -- recently, these fanpages have been aiming to find a way to approach their readers and interact with them. How both newspapers found a brand-new model on their social networks and how this model contributed to a more participative and equal communication, which involves the social network users, are worth of mention goals in this research

Relações Públicas e as ferramentas de análise das Mídias Sociais: uma parceria de sucesso

This paper aims to analyze the social media monitoring as a specific instrument of Public Relations. Indeed, in the current context this is the most suitable professional to establish the relationship between organizations and their online audiences. Its function is to be manager of communications, mediating and instituting relationships, caring image and reputation of the organization and conducting strategic planning. This case study sought to monitor the Virada Cultural de Bauru through social media's own audience. For this purpose, two types of free tools - Socialmention and Topsy - sustained the diagnosis that turned data into information to be used by this professional communication. The balance shows the power of social media and how they are able to reflect the wishes of consumers, providing often the necessary tools for an efficient communication

A imprensa em Lins: análise das dinâmicas sociais e urbanas em O Progresso, 1925-1927 O Linense, 1928-1929

O trabalho de conclusão de curso, que tem por tema “A imprensa interiorana: análise das dinâmicas sociais e urbanas em O Progresso, 1925-1927 e O Linense, 1928-1929”, visa analisar os periódicos aqui apontados, enquanto representativos dos jornais circulantes no interior paulista do início do século XX, inseridos dentro de um contexto de urbanização das cidades do noroeste do estado de São Paulo, mais especificamente, Lins. Esses periódicos serão, portanto, objeto de estudo e, concomitantemente, as principais ferramentas de pesquisa sobre a cidade aqui estudada e de identificação das temáticas relativas ao assunto cidade/urbano. Este trabalho serve como um complemento à pesquisa de iniciação científica “A Imprensa em Lins: temas da cidade e do urbano em O Progresso, 1925-1927 e O Linense, 1928-1929”, que teve como proposta fazer o levantamento de temas sobre a vida, as transformações e as dinâmicas urbanas de Lins, município do oeste paulista, mapeando diversas dimensões da cidade publicadas nos jornais O Progresso, do período de 1925 a 1927 e O Linense, de 1928 a 1929. Dessa maneira, o trabalho visa contribuir para os estudos sobre as cidades da Zona Noroeste paulista e, a partir da análise dos jornais, realizar uma leitura da imprensa interiorana do início do século XX em São Paulo. Cabe salientar que a pesquisa está vinculada ao Projeto Temático “Saberes Eruditos e Técnicos na Configuração e Reconfiguração do Espaço Urbano – Estado de São Paulo, séculos XIX e XX (processo 05/55338-0)”, com coordenação do grupo de professores da Faculdade de Arquitetura, Artes e Comunicação da UNESP-Bauru. O subtema desse projeto, sob a responsabilidade específica do orientador Célio José Losnak, chama-se “As dimensões política e cultural da circulação dos saberes nas cidades do oeste paulista: legislação, processos decisórios... A legitimação das redes sociais como fonte para o jornalismo sob a perspectiva dos códigos padrões de narração

From the study of the news, it is possible to notice a substantial and progressive increase in the number of reports that use social networks as a source for the composition of the news in recent years. This paper discusses precisely this process of legitimation of social networks as an authorized source for journalists from the perspective of the standards narration codes historically marked that journalists use to tell their stories, in a crossover between the ideas of Michel de Certeau, Paul Ricoeur and Roland Barthes. We will study the notion that this increase is due to a repositioning of journalistic values in vogue (who put those sources within the boundaries of acceptable) and has visible consequences in the writing and structuring of journalistic report as an enunciative technical.

Representatividade das redes sociais no processo educacional: potencialidades dos grupos virtuais como ferramentas de ensino-aprendizagem no Ensino Médio

One tool that has been in evidence, especially among young people, is Facebook. It can be classified as a synchronous communication tool that allows communities of people with similar interests to discuss and exchange experiences in real time, promoting the sharing of information and the creation of collective knowledge, even if they being in different parts of the globe. In this paper we show that Facebook can be used as an educational tool to aid the work done in the classroom and the impact of creating closed groups in online social networking for educational purposes. The survey was conducted with a group of students at a private school in Bauru/SP. We investigated the interaction profile of students with a closed group created on Facebook and through a questionnaire analyzed whether students use virtual environments for personal or educational. The survey reveals students perceptions about relevant aspects and the potential use of this tool as teaching-learning strategy

O uso das redes sociais online nas interações de produtores e receptores de televisão

This paper discusses the possibility of receiver’s participation in the production of television content mediated by online social networks. Buoyed by media convergence, this research demonstrates how the receiver has been working in online digital media such as TV can take advantage of the specific interaction between the medias to promote the creation of collaborative content, in which the user of social network may interfere the result of the product developed, becoming a new mediatic protagonist. Tool not so used for the production of television that slowly begins to enter the virtual reality, the forging of this new compose process would not only entertain the receiver, but also enrich the language and content television constantly criticized. This study shows the influence of the television medium in which is discussed online, the attitude still shy of the user in content production, and discusses the potential of social networks as a channel of communication between producers and receivers. This work is structured from the definition of social network, in addition to conducting the study what kind of interaction between TV and online social networks is practiced today. Finally, debate whether the potential interaction between TV and social networks is used to its fullest.

Scientific collaboration network among Brazilian universities: an analysis in Dentistry area

This paper analyses the scientific collaboration network formed by the Brazilian universities that investigate in dentistry area. The constructed network is based on the published documents in the Scopus (Elsevier) database covering a period of 10 (ten) years. It is used social network analysis as the best methodological approach to visualize the capacity for collaboration, dissemination and transmission of new knowledge among universities. Cohesion and density of the collaboration network is analyzed, as well as the centrality of the universities as key-actors and the occurrence of subgroups within the network. Data were analyzed using the software UCINET and NetDraw. The number of documents published by each university was used as an indicator of its scientific production.

The behavior of brazilian senators: analyzing the exchange of votes inside the fixed committees during the 52nd legislature

Using the method of Social Networks Analysis, we’ll try to see if politicians swap votes between them seeking support for their projects, to this end, we’ll first map the behavior, activities and contacts of the Senators of the Brazilian Federative Republic within all the fixed committees which had some vote during the 52nd Legislature, then we can see the most popular and central Senators to each committee. After this analysis we wish to answer the following question: did logrolling exist in the Brazilian Senate? Previously the empirical analysis and response to the problems posed, we’ll present the necessary theoretical introduction understood by reviewing the literature on relevant subjects, whether they are purely theoretical with respect to the exchange of support, or analytical about the Brazilian political system.
