By understanding art as a particular form of knowledge is possible to think that sociology has much to learn from it. One thesis that we share in this essay is that the art is able to perform the synthesis of the historical time for its specifi c capacity to be in the world, because, while scientifi c knowledge search universal categories, intending to reduce as much the infl uence of human and social aspects in the apprehension of phenomena, aesthetic knowledge, even if it seeks abstract referentials, can not get rid of the experience and the world around it. This premise, based on the reading of Fredric Jameson, worth as much to the art authorial as for the one performed in series, this is, the production of the cultural industry. Both one and another, in their own way, translates the social time, task that fi ts to criticism unravel.

Ensino Médio e Educação Profissional no Tempo Presente: Para Além da Dualidade Escolar

A pesquisa foi realizada mediante procedimentos de levantamento e análises bibliográfica e documental, e teve como objetivo analisar as principais alterações sofridas pelo Ensino Médio e Educação Profissional decorrentes da aprovação do ordenamento legal vigente: Constituição Federal de 1988, Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional – Lei nº. 9.394/96 e Decreto nº. 2.208/97, revogado pelo Decreto nº. 5.154/04. Parte de breve retrospectiva histórica acerca do surgimento e organização de tal escolaridade e, na sequência, examina as principais alterações sofridas pelo Ensino Médio e Educação Profissional trazidas pelo atual conjunto legal, consoante às orientações de reforma e racionalização do Estado, hegemônicas a partir dos anos 1990. Os resultados da pesquisa indicam que, até o momento, não foi possível ainda superar a dualidade histórica que tem prevalecido na etapa final da educação básica. Conclui, que o “Ensino Médio Inovador” pode ser um caminho viável para integração Ensino Médio e Educação Profissional.

Avaliação da sobrecarga em cuidadores familiares de pacientes de um Centro de Atenção Psicossocial

Com a reforma psiquiátrica o modelo de atenção à saúde mental sofreu transformações, retirando a centralização do poder do hospital psiquiátrico por meio da implantação de programas e serviços substitutivos de atenção e cuidado aos sujeitos em sofrimento psíquico, sendo que uma das principais estratégias adotadas é a consolidação dos Centros de Atenção Psicossocial. O retorno do sujeito ao convívio familiar após longos anos de internação coloca em questão a dificuldade do convívio social e familiar, assim como a retomada dos cuidados da família em relação a este. Assumir os cuidados de um paciente psiquiátrico pode gerar sobrecarga e muitas vezes, significa renunciar às próprias necessidades, projetos e desejos, colocando os do paciente/familiar em primeiro plano. A presente pesquisa tem por objetivo investigar a presença de indicadores de sobrecarga em cuidadores informais de pessoas com transtornos mentais atendidas em um Centro de Atenção Psicossocial - CAPS de um município do interior de São Paulo. Participaram da presente pesquisa 37 cuidadores informais de pessoas com transtornos mentais. Para coleta de dados foram utilizados dois instrumentos: um roteiro de entrevista para caracterização da amostra e o protocolo ZaritBurden Interview (ZBT) para avaliar a presença de indicadores de sobrecarga. Os dados foram analisados de acordo com os escores atribuídos no manual de aplicação da escala padronizada. Os resultados obtidos revelam o predomínio da sobrecarga moderada e modera da severa (78%), indicando a necessidade de intervenção junto aos cuidadores no sentido de desenvolver estratégias que favoreçam o cuidado e ao mesmo tempo preservem sua saúde.

Avaliação in vitro da resistência adesiva de braquetes ortodônticos variando-se o tempo de armazenamento e o tipo de fotoativação: luz halógena e led

O objetivo deste estudo in vitro foi comparar os efeitos da fotoativação pelos sistemas luz halógena e LED na adesão de braquetes ortodônticos em diferentes tempos pós-colagem (imediato, 24h e 7d). Braquetes com adesivo pré-aplicado (Gemini series; APC adhesive precoated brackets; 3M Unitek, USA) foram colados na superfície vestibular de dentes bovinos. O esmalte dos dentes foi condicionado utilizando-se o primer auto-condicionante (Transbond SEP, 3M Unitek, USA) em todos os espécimes, conforme recomendações do fabricante. Setenta e dois dentes foram divididos em 2 grupos (n=36), conforme o sistema de fotoativação (luz halógena ou LED) e sub-divididos (n=12) de acordo com o tempo pós-colagem. Para os grupos luz halógena, o tempo de fotoativação foi de 20s e para os grupos LED foi de 10s. O teste de resistência ao cisalhamento foi realizado com auxílio de uma máquina de ensaios universal nos diferentes tempos pós-colagem: imediato, 24h e 7d. O valor médio de adesão para os grupos luz halógena foi de 20,01±5,24MPa e, para os grupos fotoativados pelo sistema LED 17,35±5,07MPa, sendo estes resultados estatisticamente diferentes. Quando comparado o efeito do tempo pós-colagem, os resultados revelaram que os valores de adesão foram significantemente maiores para o tempo de 7d. O resultado do teste ANOVA 2 – fatores revelou não existir diferença estatística entre a interação sistema de fotoativação e tempos pós-colagem. O teste de Tukey mostrou que para as 4 condições experimentais nos tempos imediato e 24h, os resultados não diferiram estatisticamente, independentemente do sistema de fotoativação. Somente com relação ao grupo luz halógena-7d, os resultados mostraram diferenças estatisticamente significantes. O grupo LED-7d desempenhou comportamento intermediário entre os grupos. O retorno: identidades à deriva no romance português contemporâneo

This paper concentrates on the analysis of how the typical voices of History are manifested, which is achieved by the aesthetics of the contemporary Portuguese narrative, as it aims at the same time the reflexion and the reformulation of the Lusitanian cultural imaginary in the course of O retorno, a novel by Dulce Maria Cardoso. The hypothesis that arises is that the trajectory of Rui’s individual experience, as wells as the other’s characters “retornados” looking for identity, is parallel to the proposed revision of the Portuguese nation collective cultural imaginary in the decolonization context, after the 25th April Revolution. It is its objective to investigate how the historical processes concerned to the concepts of exile and uprooting, displacement and belonging (BAUMAN, 2005) are fictionalized in the novel, seen as motes for Rui’s pursuit for identity and for the revision of the Portuguese Destiny theme

Increasingly the business for large companies tend to sustainable actions. Such actions may have motivated social, environmental and economical too. Thus, the study of small actions or investments aimed at improving a product or a process may impact on financial return and even the exposure of a sustainable paper company, a fact that is increasingly wel l regarded in the market. This study presents proposals raised in the market and in the literature showing the cost of each investment, the payback over time and the benefits of each project to be implemented in a corporative building located in the city of São Paulo. It was analyzed the energy consumption, determining the amount of consumption of each device through measurement of some parameters such as voltage and operating current, and lifting nominal values supplied by the manufacturers. By understanding the conditions of each equipment and the processes involved, were raised possible energy improvements, focusing on the cooling system of the building, the tariff system and the installation of an energy management system

Proposta metodológica para a correção do coeficiente de retorno de esgoto sanitário em unidades com sistemas de aproveitamento de água pluvial

The use of rainwater for non-potable purposes generates a reduction in the consumption of treated water, however, this reduction is not observed in the generation of wastewater, as this is independent of the water source. In Brazil, the pricing on the services of collection and treatment of sewage, in general, is based on the coefficient of return of the sewage disposal system, which has a relation sewer / water proportional to the consumption of treated water measured at the consumer unit. The use of rainwater originating from utilization systems infer on the coefficient, underestimating the volume of wastewater generated. Therefore, this study presents a methodology for setting the coefficient of return. Different roof areas, reservoir volumes and rates of water consumption situations were simulated. The behavior of adjustment of the coefficient of return were also analyzed for the average area per capita roof (m² / inhabitant) of Rio Claro - SP. As a result, it can be seen that the adjustment of the coefficient of return is directly proportional to the increase of the roof areas and the volumes of reservoirs, and inversely proportional to the total water demand. The corrected coefficient of return showed the minimum value of 0.83 and a maximum value of 1.45, this variation corresponds to the maximum ratio between the demands of total water and rainwater, since the exploitation of rain water should be used only for non-potable uses, according to NBR 15527 / 07. To the municipality of Rio Claro - SP was noted an adjustment of the coefficient of return ranging from 0.99 to 6.61

Seeking the integrated management of water resources and financial compensation especially as a management tool, according to the Law No. 9433 of 1997 and No. 9985 of 2000. This research's main objective is measuring the flow contribution of Núcleo Santa Virginia, the State Park of Serra do Mar, starting from the hydrological regionalization method, developed by the Department of Water and Power. According to the Law 9985 of 2000 Conservation Units have the right to receive in the form of an investment a portion of the amount paid by Power Plants, being passed directly to the Conservation Units, differently from the 9433 Act. By dividing the area of Núcleo Santa Virgínia, in Sub-basins, it was possible to find the minimum flow during seven consecutive days, with a return period of ten years, Q7,10, and steady water flow in 95% of the time, Q95 for the Center and from these data to calculate the monetary value of law under Articles 47 and 48 from Law 9985 of 2000
