Vivências anímicas e percepção subjetiva de qualidade de vida: perspectiva de servidores públicos nos âmbitos da saúde e da educação

This study was qualitative in nature and aimed to investigate the possible interference of spiritual experiences with the subjective perception of quality of life. The perspectives of civil servants in education and health services were compared. The study was developed through bibliographic and exploratory research, and the instrument used for data collection for the exploratory research was the WHOQOL-bref, which was applied in two stages: before and after experiences with spiritual activities. The purposive sample used in this study was composed of civil servants working in health and education administrative sectors of the Brazilian Unified Health System and a State University, respectively, with the intention of broadening the understanding about the perception of quality of life in civil servants from different sectors. The exploratory research of the study was carried out in three stages. The first was a two-phase data collection, before and after experiences with spiritual activities offered to civil servants who worked in the health care field, as well as the analysis of the results of this step. The second stage was the collection of data before and after experiences with spiritual activities offered to civil servants who worked in the administrative sector of education in a public university, besides the analysis of the results of this step. The third stage consisted of a comparison of the results obtained in the preceding two steps. The data resulting from the use of the research instrument for both samples were analyzed via Thematic Content Analysis. A questionnaire containing 26 questions based on four main themes was used. The first two questions were related to perceived quality of life and health satisfaction and they were not part of the specific domains. Cine física: estudo de vídeos e filmes e possibilidades para o ensino de física na educação básica

In this work we present a didactic proposal of the use of movies and videos for the Physics teaching directed to the Basic Education and we bring a discussion about how the materials addresses this topic. For this, we selected three cinematographic works, one chapter of the TV show and videos found in the web and we analyse the physics concepts found particularly about the issue electromagnetism. We developed the activity denominated Cine - Física in a public school from Rio Claro - SP, through presentations of these movies, shows and videos. Those works were exhibited in full and then we discussed the concepts involved in these movies. With the perform of this didactic proposal we verified that is possible insert the use of movies and videos in the classroom activities, and go beyond the entertainment or using those materials as supplements of classes. Dialoguing with students was possible to realize that they visualize the effects and physical concepts in a different way than other that used to be shown in the blackboard through formulas, providing positive effects to the learning of Physics

Avaliação normativa das salas de vacinas na rede pública de Saúde do municipio de Marilia, Estado de São Paulo, Brasil 2008 -2009.

Objective: to evaluate the standardization of vaccination rooms in the Municipality of Marília, State of São Paulo, Brazil. Methods: descriptive and exploratory study, realized in 2008-2009; the instrument used was the Supervision in Vaccination Rooms, of the Ministry of Health; variables analyzed were general aspects of the vaccination room, technical procedures, cold chain, information system, post-vaccination adverse events, special immunobiologicals, epidemiological surveillance and health education; the score achieved classifies the room (90.0-100.0% = ideal; 76.0-89.0% = good; 50.0-75.0% = fair; <50.0% = insufficient); overall index for each point was calculated as the average score of all rooms. Results: technical procedures, information system, post-vaccination adverse events and special immunobiologicals were scored as ideal; cold chain, epidemiological surveillance and health education were scored as good; and to general aspects of the vaccination room, the evaluation was fair. Conclusion: general index for vaccination rooms in the municipality was considered ideal.
