Articulação entre política agrícola e ambiental: uma análise do caso brasileiro

O modo de produção agrícola vigente é causador de impactos ambientais. Estes impactos podem ser representados, por exemplo, pela devastação de matas e florestas com o intuito de expandir a fronteira agrícola, a erosão do solo e a poluição das águas, da terra e do ar. Este trabalho mostra que a relação entre a atividade agrícola e o meio ambiente não precisa ser litigiosa, podendo conviver de forma harmônica. Para isso, foram estudados os programas criados pelo Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento (MAPA) que articulam as políticas ambientais e agrícolas em prol do desenvolvimento sustentável. São exemplos destes programas a Integração Lavoura-Pecuária-Floresta (ILPF), o plantio direto na palha e o programa Agricultura de Baixo Carbono (ABC)

Relações Públicas: a importância das relações humanas

This monograph has as objective to study the human relations and the Public Relations in the contemporary time in witch the new technologies of the information got closer to the various existent cultures, but who make of the informative society of the global era, the expansion of the capital and of the culture of the more value. Man kind is backing away from the human relations, because the social interactions in the global world are done by objects such as the television, the internet and the telephone in witch cases the subjectivity and the human contact are traded for the informative quantity, because man kind doesn’t have anymore time to think, reflect and to exchange information. Man kind isolates itself and fills it’s subjective emptiness with the products offered by the neoliberal capitalism. The public relations in the organizations seek the human values created from a complex network of social interactions in all the heterogeneous of the organization. Through the communication the public relations tries to manage the relationships with the dialogical communication, between the public-organization, to harmonize the conflicting differences of the organizational environment. Thus, the public relations has to assume the roll of the information manager, and administrator of the human relations in this new global world, informative and that functions from the capital

Perfil sanitário e pesquisa de Salmonella em frangos e lingüiças pela metodologia tradicional e pela PCR

Novos hábitos alimentares da população e as mudanças nos sistemas de produção e distribuição dos alimentos podem estar fortemente relacionados aos casos de doenças transmitidas pelo consumo de alimentos contaminados por microorganismos. Isso faz com que a preocupação com a qualidade microbiológica dos alimentos aumente mundialmente. Dentre os principais patógenos, destaca-se a Salmonella sp, que pertence à microbiota gatrentestinal de animais silvestres e de animais domésticos criados para o consumo humano (aves, bovinos e suínos). Este fato torna o problema de grande relevância para as autoridades de saúde pública, pois esses microrganismos podem estar associados às infecções ou surtos provocados pela ingestão de alimentos contaminados. Foram coletadas 35 amostras de lingüiças e 25 cortes de frango, nos principais supermercados do município de Botucatu-SP e avaliados quanto à qualidade higiênico-sanitária através da determinação do número mais provável de coliformes termotolerantes (CT), além da presença de Salmonella sp. Os resultados obtidos mostram que 31% das lingüiças e 84% das amostras de frango estavam fora dos padrões higiênico-sanitários estabelecido pela ANVISA (RDC n° 12), que determina uma quantidade máxima de 5x103 CT/g em lingüiça e 104 /g em carne de aves. Em relação à Salmonella sp, estabeleceu-se a ausência dessa bactéria em 25g de lingüiça e não determina nenhum parâmetro para o frango. Intervenção midiática e a cobertura dos Jogos Olímpicos de Pequim/2008: subsídios para a difusão do atletismo

Como todo fenômeno de massa, os acontecimentos esportivos são, atualmente, um dos preferidos da mídia, sobretudo por questões de ordem mercadológica ou simbólica, já que o esporte tem papel fundamental na construção de identidades e subjetividades. Tendo como base este fato, o objetivo desta pesquisa consistiu em identificar como a mídia esportiva refere-se ao atletismo, quando da veiculação de reportagens jornalísticas. Para tanto, foram coletadas reportagens do jornal “Folha de São Paulo”, mais especificamente, do caderno “Pequim/2008” num período de 15 dias antes dos Jogos Olímpicos de Pequim/2008, durante o seu desenvolvimento e 15 dias após o término desse evento, isto é, de 22/07/2008 a 08/09/2008. Nesse período, foram coletadas 49 edições desse jornal, nas quais analisamos 88 reportagens relacionadas ao atletismo. Em revisão bibliográfica e com base na Análise de Conteúdo foram identificadas as principais características dessas reportagens, além dos temas mais recorrentes (unidades de registro) e o contexto (unidades de contexto) de cada uma delas. Foram criados 5 blocos de categorias, a saber: 1. Breves notas informativas sobre o atletismo; 2. Curiosidades acerca do atletismo mundial; 3. Resultados obtidos nas provas do atletismo; 4. Preparação dos atletas e expectativa em relação ao desempenho e 5. Destaques do atletismo nos Jogos Olímpicos de Pequim. A descrição de cada um dos blocos de categorias favoreceu a exposição dos resultados, dentre os quais: a falta de informação que é dedicada ao atletismo pela mídia em períodos em que não ocorrem grandes competições esportivas, a ênfase dada por ela por ocasião de eventos de repercussão internacional e a atenção especial voltada aos atletas que estão no auge da carreira e que, de alguma forma, passam a ser reconhecidos...(Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo)

Diagnóstico dos resíduos de construção e demolição para elaboração e implantação da gestão integrada dos RCD no município de Guanambi – BA

Taking as starting the environmental, social and economic impact of construction and demolition waste in Brazilian cities were created legal mechanisms for management and administration, seeking to minimize the impacts to the maximum, since the irregular deposition can be characterized as environmental crime. CONAMA Resolution No. 307 of 2002 establishing the mandatory implementation of an Integrated Management System Construction Waste and Demolition, guiding the classification and designation of the waste generating agents, collection agents and transporters, and the areas of culling and disposal of waste. The technical partnership between the Ministry of Cities, the Environment Ministry and the Caixa Econômica Federal, coordinated by Pinto & Gonzales (2005) Management in the work and management of construction waste, proposed a guidance manual to guide the implementation of a System Integrated Management of Construction Waste in Municipalities. The municipality of Guanambi in the state of Bahia, in full economic rise, lacks a waste management of construction and demolition, since there has areas for the disposal of waste being proposed in this paper the diagnosis of waste generation in the municipality as part of the methodology proposed by the work of Pinto & Gonzales (2005).

Acervo lúdico do CPA: organização, classificação e manutenção

We know that play is directly linked to the development and growth of the child. Thinking in this context, were created recreational spaces, more known as playrooms or toy libraries. This research seeks to understand the playful objects used in more visits with children, realized CPA, FC UNESP - Bauru. Therefore, it was necessary to identify the objects necessary to the demands of users of CPA, they were psychology trainees, fellows extension projects, graduate students, teachers and the subjects treated population served. Composed over 1000 objects, the collection must be appropriate to the needs of the CPA. The research in question is characterized as a case study, is related to our shares a scholarship project Playing in the Center for Applied Psychology - CPA, held in the collection playful and Toy CPA, FC UNESP - Bauru, used, in this case, as a field for this research. Watching the playful collection, daily, some questions have arisen about this space became in this study. The data collection period was from September 2011 to September 2012. As an instrument for data collection was mounted a notebook control in order to check the movement of the objects of the collection, also applied a questionnaire to teachers and trainees working in the CPA. At the end of the study we can say that the symbolic games and rules are the objects that are related to care provided in the CPA because of its capabilities to assist in various aspects of the development of children, with the most frequently used symbolic games with children aged 2 to 7 years and the games rules with children aged 7-12 years or more

O número de técnicos e técnicas que comandam equipes masculinas e femininas

It is known that gymnastics and sports, for the most part, were made by men for men, and its practice was almost exclusively for males, especially until the First World War. Vestiges of this strong male influence in sports still remain to this day, especially in leadership positions. It is clear that most sports, both male and female, are mostly coached by men. Thus, this study aimed to examine, through quantiqualitative research, the number of women and men who lead male and female volleyball, basketball and soccer elite teams, participating in the most important national championships, and the number of men and women graduated in physical education courses in Brazil in order to check a possible relationship between the low number of women working as a coach and the percentage of women graduated in physical education. For the acquisition of data, Internet searches were made on the sites of confederations, leagues and sports leagues selected for the study, and on the site of the National Institute of Educational Studies Anísio Teixeira (INEP). It was identified that the total number of graduates from 1995 to 2008 was 192,707, with 99,869 men and 92,838 women, showing a balance between these numbers, which did not happen with the numbers of male and female coaches. The data indicated that no women worked as a coach in male and female volleyball teams in the seasons 2006 to 2010, no woman worked as a coach in the male basketball teams in the seasons from 2000 to 2010, and only an average of 1.67 women led female basketball teams in the seasons 1998 to 2010, and no woman has ever worked as a coach for male soccer teams, while only an average of 2.67 women acted as a coach of female soccer teams. Utilização da instrumentação virtual em Labview para criação da interface gráfica do amplificador lock-in utilizado em estudos fisiológicos a partir da comunicação via porta serial

This work presents the development of a graphical interface to the Lock-in Amplifier, which is used in physiological studies on the motility of the gastrointestinal tract in rats and signal processing. With a simple and low cost instrumentation, the resources offered by the virtual interface of LabVIEW software allows the creation of commands similar to the actual instrument that, through communication via standard serial port, transmits data between a PC and peripheral device performing specific and particular needs in the amplifier. Created for the lock-in amplifier model SR830 Stanford Research Systems, the remote manipulation gives the user greater accessibility in the process of configuration and calibration. And, since the software is installed, there is the advantage of eliminating the need of purchase new devices to upgrade the system. The commands created were made to perform six basic modifications that are used in routine of the Biomagnetism Laboratory. Companies that invest in current technologies maintain themselves updated, improve their business rules and anticipate themselves against rivals providing a better service to their customers. This project aims to develop an ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning module for Android which complements an existing manager system and, that attends the needs of a rental equipment business for civil building, i.e., it improves the communication channel company-client and betters the identification and control of products. During the developing of this project, it was necessary to study the company business rules, analyze the requirements and the appropriate technologies. This project was organized in two parts, contemplating e ach of these needs. It were implemented specific modules for generate budgets and pre-orders in the first part and, the use of radiofrequency tags in the second one. Thus, it was possible to assign mobility to company business rules so that a better rental service can be provided and the equipments can be better managed

Produção e utilização de material didático sobre fisiologia da audição e neurofisiologia

The teaching of hearing physiology requires an knowledge integration of Human Anatomy, Biophysics, more precisely Bioacoustics and Bioelectrogenesis, as well as Neurophysiology. Students present difficulty to build knowledge about functional mechanisms of sound conduction and sensory transduction, especially if the elements are not visible forms, as the middle and inner ear structures. To make the teaching about hearing physiology and sensory perception easier, was produced a set of didactical materials about the subject. At first, a resin model that faithfully describes the anatomical relationship of the ossicles with the tympanic membrane was developed. Subsequently, a second model that, besides illustrates the mechanism of acoustic impedance overcoming, also reveals how acoustic sensorial transduction occurs in inner ear, was designed and produced. In the third didactical model, are visualized, through students interaction, areas of the cerebral cortex that interpret the different sensory modalities. In addition, were created three educational videos about hearing problems and a site on Human Hearing Physiology, available on Institute of Biosciences website. The results of this course conclusion monograph are presented in the form of articles that were submitted to Journal Physics in the School and the Journal of the Nucleus of Teaching

A inclusão financeira no Brasil: uma análise da contribuição dos bancos sociais

O objetivo maior deste trabalho é contribuir para se diagnosticar qual a conjuntura atual do setor microfinanceiro no Brasil. Para tanto, inicia uma exposição histórica, com o intuito de demonstrar quais as variáveis condicionantes de nosso estágio atual, chegando até ao último programa lançado pelo governo federal com a finalidade de fomentar os serviços financeiros entre a população de baixa renda - vale ressaltar, o Programa Nacional de Microcrédito Produtivo Orientado (PNMPO). A partir dessa fase, inicia uma exposição dos novos obstáculos, criados, paradoxalmente, no seio do PNMPO e ligados ao excesso de regulação, a serem transpostos para se desenvolver a indústria de microfinanças no país, propondo soluções para estes. Por fim, faz um estudo de caso de uma inovação social, ligada à economia solidária, que apresenta ótimos resultados no que tange a democratização dos serviços microfinanceiros, ocorrida em Fortaleza/CE: o Banco Palmas

Aspectos tecnológicos dos substitutos de gordura e suas aplicações em produtos lácteos

The consumption of fat related to the incidence of diseases has motivated the development of food with less or even no fat. However, fat is important for the full functioning of the human body and sensory characteristics of food. Therefore, making food with little or no fat and at the same time maintaining the desired quality is a challenge for the industry. Fat substitutes were created to achieve this objective. Fat substitutes can be more effective in their applications when mixtures of different types of them are used. The number and variety of these ingredients are still growing, expanding options of choice when a fat substitute is required in a certain type of food. Considering the importance of fat substitutes nowadays, this paper presents an overview of functions and implications of fats in the human body and food, the terminology used to refer to fat substitutes, the categories of different types of fat substitutes available in the market and their applications in dairy products.
