Gestão da saúde no trabalho: uma experiência institucional

This article aims to disseminate the results of a university action which occurred through the Extension Course entitled Management and Health at Work, conducted from March to September 2011 and offered by “Coordenadoria de Saúde e Segurança do Trabalhador e Sustentabilidade Ambiental” (a kind of Workers' health and safety and environmental sustainability agency) - an agency managed by “Pró-Reitoria de Administração - PRAd/Unesp”. This action had the audience of the technical and administrative staff of the several Institutes (Units) of UNESP in positions of Leadership and Supervision. The course was proposed to equip managers to deal with issues related to health and safety at work in daily labor. Six hundred managers of all UNESP Institutes participated in the course. The meetings were logistically designed respecting the proximity of the participants’ Institutes. The methodology adopted was based on qualitative techniques such as group discussion, role-plays, analysis of film, reading and discussing texts, together with the preparation of a proposal for health promotion by the participants. As a result it was considered that the course offered a convenient and timely opportunity to reflect on and discuss the theme of health and safety at UNESP, as well as to make leaders and managers effective agents to implement programs of disease prevention and health promotion at work.

Perfil e avaliação dos participantes de um curso de formação continuada em práticas educacionais inclusivas na modalidade a distância

This article analyses aspects related to a continuing education course about Inclusive and Special Education in the area of Mental Disabilities offered to 20 (twenty) groups of teachers by the Ministry of Education. The Distance Course was offered in different regions of Brazil with a 180 (a hundred and eighty) hours workload. The research included the profi le of the participants, an evaluation of the course by the participants and the analysis of the dropout causes. The aspects of the course under evaluation received a positive evaluation by most of the participants. The most frequent reason for the dropout rates include participants’ limitations in terms of meeting deadlines, personal reasons and diffi culties in using computers. It was concluded that Distance Education seems to be a relevant tool for the acquisition of knowledge about inclusive practice.

Formação de jovens para o mundo do trabalho e cidadania: experiência teórica e prática por meio de projeto extensionista

This paper presents the extension project Youth Empowerment for Work and Citizenship. It is a psychosocial and an educational activity focused on the care of impoverished youths, aged between 14-19, from Assis-SP. It aims to contribute to the cognitive, affective and social process of the participants. The extension activity has benefited the education of Psychology undergraduates students to the mediation in human development under nonformal education. The theoretical and methodological background is based on the cultural-historical psychology of Vigotski. The results obtained are: the establishment of partnerships between universities and state and local public organizations; the incorporation of innovative thematic in psychology curriculum course at UNESP; production of academic-scientific research about the experience of Psychologists in social educational area; and the participation of one hundred young people as well as their parents or legal guardians in the project.

A crítica ensaística de Osman Lins sobre o acesso do jovem escolar à cultura brasileira

This text aims to address the critical essays of Osman Lins on the corpus of his works, reading and study, which consists of Portuguese textbooks adopted in schools for the teaching of the national language in the Secondary Course. More specifically, we intend to reflect on how Osman Lins analyzes the procedures adopted by the authors of these textbooks to introduce learners into Brazilian literature. Our object of study and analysis is restricted to six trials Lins published originally in 1965, the newspaper of Pernambuco University Press and later, in 1977, were collected in the form of the first chapter, titled "The Book didactic - First time: 1965 " (1977, p.13-40), the book From the Dream and Glory: Brazilian uncultural problems.

Formação continuada de educadoras infantis

Este artigo pretende realizar uma reflexão sobre o papel da extensão universitária na Universidade e relatar um projeto de extensão desenvolvido junto a educadoras infantis, com o objetivo de formação continuada. Para tanto, defendemos que a extensão universitária deve buscar o resgate da dimensão social e de universalidade buscando maneiras de educar e formar profissionais que intervenham na sociedade de forma autônoma e reflexiva, por meio de um currículo dinâmico e flexível. Nas considerações finais, a reflexão é sobre a importância da formação continuada de educadores para que se garanta a luta na busca pela melhoria da Educação brasileira e o exercício da função social da Universidade.

Retratos sociológicos: uma metodologia de investigação para a pesquisa em educação

Recently, Bourdieu’s sociological tradition has emerged as an important trend in research in science education. This paper presents some critiques elaborated by Bernard Lahire towards Bourdieu’s sociological approach. The main purpose of our incursion into Lahire’s critique is to argue and introduce the methodology of sociological portraits as an important resource for research in science education. After describing this methodology, it is illustrated with a portrait of dropout on an undergraduate course in chemistry. Diogo’s portrait illustrates, at the empirical level, some basic features of individual dispositions (variability, genesis, transferability, dichotomy and contextuality). From this portrait, it was possible to illustrate how the resonance between students’ and institution’s dispositions helps explain their sense of membership and belonging to the course. Finally, we highlight some potentialities of sociological portraits to the purposes of sociological research in science education.

As contribuições do método fônico nos anos iniciais de alfabetização

Este trabalho tem como objetivo descrever quais são as contribuições do Método Fônico para a alfabetização nas séries iniciais do ensino fundamental. Serão apresentadas e explicadas duas vertentes específicas do Método Fônico, o método criado por Fernando Capovilla, chamado de Método Fônico e o criado por Renata Savastano Jardini, denominado Método das Boquinhas. Também são apresentadas atividades que foram utilizadas em um projeto de extensão universitária e que tiveram como base esses métodos, como forma de ilustrar as possibilidades que ambos fornecem aos professores para trabalhar com crianças que apresentam defasagem em seu processo de alfabetização. Dificuldades de aprendizagem no contexto escolar: perspectivas para sua compreensão e superação

Inside my participation in the Teacher Education for the Educational Service of Students with Learning Disabilities extension project, which serves elementary school students which are presented by the school as students with learning desabilities in reading and writing, and in view of the large amount of material already published in relation of this issue it is necessary theoretical depth to better understand these entitled desabilities. Considering as how they are perceived and diagnosed by the school team, worked in the context of the classroom, understood by the parents and how these difficulties intefere in the lives of these students. It is known that due to these difficulties many students end up producing a feeling of school failure, a fact that leads, in many cases, to the dropout of these students. Given the need to discuss such pressing issues I present as the goal of this paper: characterize what learning to write and reading difficulties really are and speculate what are the possibilities of educational interventions within the school context to motivate and assist in overcoming the students‟ learning difficulties. Using resources such as a record notebook, activities already implemented, and leaning on the concept of school failure and learning difficulties, the metodology of this study is defined as documentary literature

Os saberes docentes no projeto pedagógico do curso de pedagogia

A formação inicial de professores tem sido discutida na literatura, abordando questões e aspectos que possibilitam refletir sobre os elementos julgados imprescindíveis na preparação docente. Neste processo questiona-se a missão da Universidade como lugar de formação, as pesquisas que relatam que os estudantes tendem a passar pela Universidade sem mudarem as suas crenças de quando eram alunos vinculados a questão do ser professor. Estes estudantes/alunos tendem a valorizar, na maioria das vezes, os saberes da experiência vinculados a dimensão afetiva não os re-significando com relação ao conhecimento adquirido na formação universitária. Portanto, emerge dessa constatação um problema no qual se tem um discurso e uma prática com relação à construção da identidade desse professor e os saberes que fundamentam esse processo identitário. De forma que este trabalho procurou identificar os saberes docentes propostos para a formação dos professores do curso de Pedagogia da UNESP - Campus Rio Claro, apontando o lugar que estes ocupam e considerando que os estudantes tendem a valorizar as suas experiências enquanto alunos (crenças). Optou-se pela pesquisa qualitativa, utilizando-se como técnicas a fonte documental e a análise de conteúdo. Através da análise do Projeto Político Pedagógico observou-se que a formação tem a docência como base da identidade desse professor e que os fundamentos educacionais e didáticos percorrem uma proposta de perspectiva disciplinar. Porém, as disciplinas que fundamentam a prática de ensino e a prática do ensino são pouquissimas, revelando uma lacuna desse processo. Porém, lacuna maior é o conjunto das disciplinas de estágio serem de 315 horas e não de 400 horas como o é nas demais licenciaturas. Acúmulo de massa seca na soja em resposta a aplicação foliar com silício sob condições de déficit hídrico

The foliar fertilization with silicon has promoted several actions beneficial to plants, among them is greater drought tolerance, however, for the soybean, there is little information on these benefits in this condition. Thus, the aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of silicon on leaf, the dry matter accumulation of soybean in their reproductive stages, where the crop water stress suffered during the same. The experiment was carried out at the Plant Science Unit Aquidauana University - State University of Mato Grosso do Sul. The statistical design was a randomized block split plot with four replications. The plots were represented by cultivar 5DR615, the subplots consisted of the application (with or without) silicon, whose source was used KSi. Was measured the height and identified the development stage of all plants, separating them into stem + branches, leaves + petioles, pods capsules and seed. Foliar applications of silicon increased dry matter accumulation during the reproductive stage of soybean, where the highest values occurred in the R6 stage. Under conditions of water deficit, foliar application of silicon on soybean provided normal plant development, generating greater dry mass of stem + branches, leaves + petioles, pods capsules and seeds throughout their reproductive phase, with the highest values obtained at R6 stage (35 days after R2).
