Impactos socioespaciais do uso e ocupação do solo urbano na área de entorno do Aeroporto Internacional de São Paulo - Guarulhos - Andre Franco Montoro

The construction of the São Paulo International Airport in Guarulhos recorded significant economic growth for the whole region, especially for services and jobs generated. Despite the importance of its presence in Guarulhos, we note the absence of an articulate and committed planning to urban development of the city, mainly in adjacent areas to this airport system planning. Through this stud, we analyzed primarily the major interferences and modifications afforded by its presence in guarulhense spatiality. We found that the government was, to some extent, tolerant to mounting housing in the surrounding area to the airport, from the moment that allowed the diverse urban land use in the place where it was planned to build such equipment. We further note that the airport is developed autonomously to the municipality in which the investments and related works only aim to meet the needs of the enterprise

Programa de aceleração de crescimento – P.A.C: discussão sociológica a respeito do mercado da habitação

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar uma análise a respeito do que foi proposto pelo Programa de Aceleração do Crescimento – PAC pelo governo em mandato Luís Inácio Lula da Silva, em janeiro de 2007, destacando seus principais resultados ao término do ano de 2010, contribuindo com uma investigação a respeito do modelo de desenvolvimento adotado nos últimos dez anos no Brasil. Argumentamos que o setor habitacional teve maior ênfase no setor de infraestrutura social e urbana, levando em consideração que havia uma busca pela melhoria do nível de déficit habitacional no Brasil que, de acordo com o Ministério das Cidades, em 2006, era de aproximadamente 8 milhões de domicílios, sendo que sua grande maioria localizavam-se nas áreas urbanas, aproximadamente 6,5 milhões de domicílios. Moldando essa discussão através dos conceitos da Sociologia Econômica, argumentamos que, em termos de Mercado Habitacional, o Estado construiu a ideia da necessidade da casa própria, e a população aderiu a essa ideia como sendo algo necessário para a condição de estar incluída em uma sociedade ou grupo social

O processo de desindustrialização da economia brasileira no período 2000-2011

A indústria de transformação é considerada de suma importância para o desenvolvimento do país tanto em termos econômicos como sociais, visto que é responsável por encadeamentos produtivos e efeitos multiplicadores no emprego e na renda do país. Entre os anos de 2000 e 2011 ainda que haja indícios de desindustrialização da economia brasileira, devido à queda da participação do valor adicionado da indústria de transformação no Produto Interno Bruto e à deterioração da indústria de transformação frente ao comércio exterior, no que concerne ao emprego, em termos absolutos e relativos, não há suspeitas de que esteja em curso no Brasil um processo de desindustrialização. Paralelamente, ressalta-se que embora se façam presentes sintomas da chamada “doença holandesa” no Brasil, ou seja, balança comercial superavitária em commodities acompanhada de déficits da indústria de transformação e de taxa de câmbio valorizada; o Brasil não parece sofrer da “doença”

Análise da viabilidade de motorização elétrica do soprador no ciclo regenerativo da unidade de craqueamento catalítico fluidizado em uma refinaria

One of the biggest environmental problems of today is the climate change. Experts affirm that this global warming is related to the greenhouse effect. Its causes are directly related to human activity, especially the use of fossil fuels. In this context, companies around the world are challenged to improve energy efficiency in order to reduce the environmental impact and work toward the so-called tripod of sustainable development that focuses on the social, economic and environmental aspects of a business strategy. The first step a company can make in this regard is to conduct an inventory of emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs). The reduction of GHG emissions in a refinery can be achieved by replacing steam turbines with electric motors to drive big machines, this reduction is achieved by relieving the steam consumption for electric power available or purchased. An important aspect associated with the reduction of GHG emissions is the best performance of the Energy Intensity Index (ERI). The objective of this study was to analyze the feasibility of the blower motorization in the regenerative cycle of a fluidized catalytic cracking unit at a specific refinery. For development work, two methods were used, the initial screening and optimization scenarios with the help of software Butyl. The results indicate that after a certain cost of natural gas this substitution becomes favorable. In addition, there is a large reduction of CO2 emissions avoided by burning fuel

Mídia radical: análise comparativa entre a opinião da grande imprensa e da mídia radical no novo código florestal

The objective of this work is to compare how manifests the ideological positioning in the hegemonic media productions, according to Gramsci's conception, in relation to the radical alternative media, proposed by John Downing. The research has as opinionated content sample printed newspaper O Estado de s. Depressão e apoio social percebido por mães de crianças hospitalizadas

This study was performed as a requirement of the final course in Nursing. The study is cross-cutting, in order to identify associations between socioeconomic factors, education, child hospitalization in the ICU or not, degree of depression and level of social support (material, affective, emotional, informational and positive social interaction) and how to identify subgroups of mother - child vulnerable. Constitute themselves as subjects, mothers of children 0 to 17 years, 11 months and 29 days in hospital after the second day of hospitalization in the pediatric unit of a State Hospital Interior Paulista. Data collection was initiated after obtaining the assent of the Research Ethics Committee, as well as signing the consent form. We used the following instruments to collect data: the data form for socioeconomic and hospitalization; Beck Depression Inventory and Medical Outcomes Study (MOS). We obtained the result that there is a strong association between availability and social support and income per capita and the degree of depression, but did not find an association between time and hospital stay and whether the child was admitted to the ICU or not. We conclude that it is necessary to establish treatment services from the patient’s family, plus an appropriate social service support to meet this big demand for mothers who need support

Diferença no número de técnicas e técnicos no voleibol: uma análise das categorias de base até o adulto

Voleyball is a sport that has gained an important contingent of public, achieving a growing visibility especially in recent years. Despite being a very democratic sport, as it is practiced by both men and women, it can be observed that there are differences when the analysis refers to who is in charge of the teams. So the purpose of this study was to analyze the presence of women in the country volleyball (coaches) from base categories to the professional adult, through a documental research. Data were collected from electronic documents, official websites and websites of federations teams. The results indicated that the number of women coaching volleyball athletes is minimal, revealing the difference between the professional treatment given to male and female genders. Therefore, it became clear that certain discrepancies are caused not only by lack of professionalism, but also by the cultural characteristics that still consider the place of women as domestic and not in the command of field sports

Contribuições da TIC e da inclusão digital para alunos e professores das escolas participantes do Programa Acessa Escola

This study has its objective to analyze how the Technology of Information and Communication-TIC will be applied in the construction on new knowledge in the schools bounded to the program Acessa Escola.( School turned on) This program from São Paulo’s Government, developed by the Secretary of Education of the State , under the coordination of the Foundation to the Development of the Education-FDE, which has the work proposal to promote the digital inclusion to all the educational community. Making it possible the access of the Technology of Information and Communication to the users; Students, teachers, and school employees to have the exchange of information and knowledge. Therefore, there is the collaboration between teachers and student.For the development of this research, there will be semi-structured interviews with high school teacher from 3 different High Schools of Piracicaba-SP. These interviews will be done in a qualitative approach and will be submitted to the Ethic Committee from the University

Qualidade de vida e vulnerabilidade social na percepção do idoso

According to data from the World Health Organization, the older population will grow sixteenfold from 1950 to 2025 in comparison to a fivefold population growth in the same period, which is referred to by UNO as the “Ageing Era”. This places Brazil in the sixth position in the contingent of older individuals worldwide, with a number that is higher than 32 million. Considering how topics such as quality of life and social vulnerability are important in face of the growing older population, these topics must be furthered studied so that they can be understood as important variables for both better clinical practice and scientific research. To describe the social vulnerability and evaluate the quality of life of older individuals in a population hospitalized in the internal medicine ward of Bauru State Hospital. This is a descriptive qualitative study that was conducted by means of interviews and using Bardin’s discourse analysis. The inclusion criteria used in this study were: individuals at 60 years of age who were mentally capable of answering the proposed questions. Two categories concerning Quality of Life and Social Vulnerability emerged from the interviews. The following emerged from the theme Quality of Life: “Life as something important” and subcategories that involved feeling useful in society, having a supportive family, independence, optimism and joy and survival. Also, the following emerged from the theme Social Vulnerability: “Negative recognition of older individuals in society” and subcategories that involved lack of respect, functional disability, family indifference, housing-related insecurity, an inefficient health care system and loneliness. Quality of Life and Social Vulnerability are largely discussed themes in the present scenario. Habitação social e parcelamento urbano em Presidente Prudente - SP

Este trabalho discute sobre como a habitação social vem sendo desenvolvida no Brasil e apresenta uma proposta de loteamento urbano para as classes sociais menos favorecidas economicamente na cidade de Presidente Prudente. A idéia do projeto é a de comparar um loteamento com vias ortogonais, lotes privados e espaços de lazer públicos bem separados, com uma proposta cujas unidades habitacionais estariam dispostas de forma a criar áreas verdes integradas ao convívio social. Para isso foram considerados aspectos sociais, econômicos, formais e funcionais. A elaboração do trabalho começou com estudos sobre o tema e com levantamento bibliográfico, quando nasce essa inquietação sobre habitação social no Brasil, verificou-se a carência de bons projetos arquitetônicos em uma relação quantitativa. A partir daí, foram analisadas diversas pesquisas e propostas que relacionam a urbanização brasileira e a forma como ela se apresenta com relação a unidades habitacionais, com interesse social, ou seja, para pessoas de baixa renda, com foco na cidade de Presidente Prudente (São Paulo). De acordo com esses estudos, foi feito um levantamento de possíveis áreas de implantação de um loteamento onde foi constatada a existência de um terreno não edificado, em uma área com infra-estrutura e dentro do perímetro urbano. Esta área de aproximadamente 100 mil metros quadrados foi escolhida para a realização do trabalho de comparação das diferentes formas de produção do espaço urbano

This project aims to study the influence of information technology in the construction of new forms of citizenship. A large space as possible by the Internet allows the emergence of alternative news sources, as opposed to the means of mass communication. The research will take from the study of the news portal Choike.org. Maintained by civil society representatives, the website has a proposal to address topics that are infrequent in the media hegemony. To facilitate the study, we established a cut. The issue is discussed by the media in general, however has more emphasis between the means of alternative journalism.
