O desafio da pesquisa em folkcomunicação: cartografia 1998-2011

Este trabalho é resultado de uma pesquisa realizada, inicialmente, sob a supervisão da Cátedra UNESCO de Comunicação e posteriormente complementada e atualizada para essa publicação. O projeto fez primeiro inventário das pesquisas apresentadas em anais de eventos que tratam da temática e dos conceitos da Folkcomunicação, apontando sua importância nos cenários comunicacional e cultural do Brasil. Tratou-se de evidenciar a produção de um conjunto de pesquisadores, representantes de várias regiões do País, que buscam divulgar e estimular os estudos no campo da Folkcomunicação e da cultura popular. Utilizando a pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, buscou-se demonstrar os espaços de inserção e de divulgação do legado Beltraniano, com a finalidade de sistematizar, inicialmente, essa produção, contribuindo para a formulação de diretrizes capazes de fazer avançar o conhecimento determinados pelos fluxos midiáticos ou por eles intermediados no que tange a produção comunicacional nessa área do conhecimento.

Bauru: terra de cerrado ou floresta?

Bauru: region of cerrado ou forest? The city of Bauru is located in São Paulo State, where the maps showing native vegetation distribution does not clearly defi ne its nature. In order to clarify which types of native vegetation was found in this region, a bibliographic survey was performed, ranging from ancient documents prepared by naturalists describing this region and recent research results of floristic and phytosociological character. It is concluded that in Bauru, semideciduous seasonal forests overlays the northwestern and that cerrado comes over the southeast region. In riparian areas where the cerrado prevailed, there are still traces of swamp forests and swamp grasslands. In the border areas between forests and cerrado, the occurrence of vegetation transition is common, with two distinct types of it and other typical of these ecotone zones.

O mal-estar docente em gestores escolares

This research aimed to identify and analyze the impact of stressful events associated with the school administrators in teacher malaise. 29 managers participated in his capacity as directors or deputy directors of the municipal system, the interior of São Paulo, with responses to the Inventory IMPIL (Evaluación Psicológica Del Estrés por InestabilidadLaboral - FIGUEROA; SCHUFER, 2006). The results indicate the presence of stressors in all areas assessed at different rates. The highest ranking stressors were concerns with health, emotional Diseases and economic concerns. The degree of discomfort tends to increase with age, but since the entry into this function. The extensive powers of management, indicate the occurrence of different degrees of impact between the groups, demonstrating that subjectivity needs to be considered for proposing improvements in working conditions and health organizations. Social changes, the demands of educational reforms and lack of recognition of the profession were associated with teacher malaise.

O impacto da depressão para as interações sociais de universitários

Studies have shown that aversive conditions at the university may have great influence on academic achievement and the development of psychiatric disorders such as depression. In university context, social relations have been investigated over the years, but are scarce publications relating mental health and social skills. Thus, this paper compared a group of college students with a clinical depression with a group without clinical depression for the consequences and feelings that differents responses of social skills may have in social interactions with various interlocutors. A total of 128 students participated, 64 for clinical depression and 64 non-clinical. Questionário de Avaliação de Comportamentos e Contextos para Universitários – QHC – Universitários, Inventário de Fobia Social (Mini-Spin), Inventário de Depressão de Beck (BDI) and Entrevista clínica estruturada para o DSM-IV (SCID-I) were applied. The data were analyzed by test t of Student. The results show that students with depression have a great difficulty about the social skills regardless of which require more or less assertion and general way for all social interactions, either family, friends, roommate and partner.

Depression, family support and hopelessness: a correlated study

This study aimed to verify the relationship between depression, hopelessness and family support. to this aim, were applied the Escala Baptista de Depressão-Adulto EBADEP- A, The Beck Hopelessness Scale –BHS, Inventário de Percepção de Suporte Familiar- IPSF and a sociodemographic questionnaire on a sample of 198 undergraduate of Pharmacy and Psychology courses of a particular university at São Paulo state (Brazil) with mean age of 23.44 years (SD = 6.8), and with a prevalence of women (80.7%). Results showed significant and positive correlations between EBADEP- A and BHS and significant and negative correlations between EBADEP- A/ BHS and IPSF, indicating that the higher perception of family support the fewer depressive symptoms and hopelessness, agreeing with literature.
