Dilemas da produção de conhecimento no campo acadêmico: entre especialização e difusão

The paper explores some issues related to the production of knowledge in the academic fi eld, relating it to the problem of knowledge dissemination beyond this restricted universe. Taking on theoretical sources from Bourdieu’s fi eld concept and his studies concerning the university fi eld in the work Homo academicus, seeks to examine, in an exploratory approach, the operation modes from academic and diffusion fi elds, opposing the actions from so-called experts and intellectual media, or intermediaries.

Cálculo mental e a produção do conhecimento matemático

This text presents the research developed with students of the 5th year of elementary school at a public school in the city of Taubaté-SP, involved in solving problems involving the Mental Calculation. The read authors show that the Mental Calculation is relevant for the production of mathematical knowledge as it favors the autonomy of students, making it the most critical. Official documents that guide educational practices, such as the Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais also emphasize that working with mental arithmetic should be encouraged as it has the potential to encourage the production of mathematical knowledge by the student. In this research work Completion of course the tasks proposed to students, who constituted the fieldwork to production data, were designed, developed and analyzed in a phenomenological approach. The intention, the research was to understand the perception of students in the face of situations that encourage them to implement appropriate technical and mental calculation procedures. We analyze how students express and realize the strategies for mental calculation in the search for solution to problem situations

Reflexões sobre o desenvolvimento da prática social e a produção e sistematização do conhecimento matemático

The aim of this study is to reflect about the cultural aspects concerning Mathematics Education, from the relationship betwen the development of the social practice and the production and systematization of knowledge about Mathematics. Thus, in first instance, there is a reflection about the producton level of mathematics knowledge in diverse social contexts, facing the level of complexity of the investigated reality. In a second instance, considerations are made about the necessity of understanding the culture phenomenum, in a totalizing perspective and the implications facing the atomization of culture in researches of ethnographic aspects about the production of mathematics in specific social contexts.

Vivenciando a sobrecarga ao vir-a-ser um cuidador familiar de pessoa com acidente vascular cerebral (AVC): análise do conhecimento

Trata-se de trabalho do tipo bibliográfico com a finalidade de fazer uma análise temática da produção do conhecimento em periódicos, acerca da sobrecarga em cuidadores familiares de pessoas com Acidente Vascular Cerebral (AVC). O corpus de análise reuniu artigos localizados nas décadas de 80 e 90, a partir das bases de dados Medline, Lilacs e Cinahl. A análise de conteúdo foi o referencial metodológico que permitiu organizar todo o conhecimento, em um corpo de categorias e subcategorias, denominadas: Categoria 1 - As seqüelas do AVC gerando sobrecarga; Categoria 2 - Aspectos gerando sobrecarga, congregando as subcategorias: o isolamento social, as mudanças e as insatisfações conjugais, as dificuldades financeiras e os déficits na saúde física e no autocuidado do cuidador; Categoria 3 - Outras análises relacionadas à sobrecarga em cuidadores familiares.

Tipo de conhecimento sobre inclusão produzido pelas pesquisas

As pesquisas brasileiras sobre produção de conhecimento no campo da Educação Especial iniciaram-se há mais de 15 anos. No presente objetivou-se analisar o tipo de conhecimento produzido nessa área frente à metodologia empregada nas dissertações e teses financiadas pelo Programa de Apoio a Educação Especial. Os trabalhos de conclusão de curso analisados referiam-se àqueles projetos aprovados pelo Proesp no âmbito do Estado de São Paulo. O período de análise ficou compreendido entre 2004 e 2008. Vinte e sete estudos foram localizados. A análise dos estudos foi realizada por meio de cinco categorias: 1) pesquisas que apresentaram generalização e aplicação imediata dos resultados; 2) pesquisas que apresentaram resultados imediatos para um grupo específico de participantes; 3) pesquisas descritivas com achados inovadores; 4) pesquisas de intervenção com achados inovadores; 5) pesquisas descritivas que corroboraram outras pesquisas. Foi possível concluir que os estudos avançaram nos conhecimentos sobre a inclusão e que o uso de metodologias pouco utilizadas no campo da educação serviu de subsídio para obter os resultados.

This research presents an investigation on the subject: Quantities and Measurements. The research is dedicated to this subject due to its importance in the school curriculum, and adopts the use of history of mathematics and investigative duties in a manner that will enable the production of knowledge by the student. Following a phenomenological orientation, we conducted field work in a public school in Guaratinguetá, with students from the 6 th grade. The analyze of data of the research, undertaken in accordance with the understanding of the texts FINI (1994), MACHADO (1994), BICUDO (1993, 2000, 2011), understanding how students construct knowledge measures. The data from field work were obtained from images recorded on video, the researcher's field diary and notes of the students. The descriptions of the data, transformed into text, had been detached the strechs most revealing for what it searchs to understand. The understood meaning through the analysis, indicates two categories: measure is to express values and measure is to compare quantities. When interpreting the open categories we understand that the student builds knowledge of measurement making comparisons
