This study quantifies fifth year medical students' knowledge after their participation in a basic clinical integration activity of psychiatry and pharmacology and investigates their opinions on the importance of the activity. A quali-quantitative study was performed using pre- and post-test assessment (multiple choice) and linguistic content analysis using the Discourse of the Collective Subject (DCS) technique. A significant increase in the percentage of correct answers in the post-test assessment was found compared to pre-test (p <0.001). The central ideas obtained from the DCS content analysis were: very relevant activity; expansion of the activity to other internships; difficulty in basic disciplines; application of cognitive assessment; and teacher's active participation in discussions. These results suggest that integration between pharmacology and the practical intern activities in psychiatry allowed pharmacological concepts to be broadened, rendering the learning meaningful. Although students identified the need for better organization of the activity, its the level of acceptance was verbalised through the suggestion that it could be extended to the other fifth year internships.

Considering the necessity of implementation of the Information Technologies and Communication (ICT) in the public Brazilian schools, the São Paulo State government hearing the call of the federal government and, with the objective to promote the digital inclusion, created the Programa Acessa Escola. The research that we realized and bring expressed on this text, is about such program and allowed us comprehend how it had been developed in the public state schools of the city of Guaratinguetá. By visiting the schools, we saw the manner that each school make use of his informatics laboratory; how they understand the government Project; how they develop actions of use of the laboratory and, particularly, how they use the informatics laboratory to the teaching and learning of mathematics helping the professor and the students. To make possible to understand this use, was realized interviews with the responsible intern of each one of the 14 (fourteen) schools of Guaratinguetá; with the pedagogical coordinator or director of the school and with the mathematics teacher. By the analysis, realized using a qualitative approach of phenomenological nature, we understand that the intern see himself as an auxiliary of the student and professor in the use of the laboratory. The director or pedagogical coordinator understand that the laboratory is an excellent resource to the school, but still exist the necessity of more resources that allow to attend properly the community; and the mathematics teacher consider important the program in the school as much for the students digital inclusion as for the teaching but they feel not safe to use into his classes, because they consider that there is a lack of capacitation and collaboration to make their activities relevant to the learning. That make possible to recognize what is the function of the intern and what is the way that the students and professor ... ( Complete abstract click eletroctronic access below)

In 2011, I had the opportunity to be inserted in two elementary schools in the city of Rio Claro - SP: a) as a researcher student, participating in the research project “Pedagogical Practice and Collective work in School: The Rescue of the Narrative and the Teacher’s Knowledge”; b) as a intern, developing the Required Stage as established in the curriculum of the Full Degree Pedagogy Course (UNESP). These two experiences have made me think about the configuration of the school and its relationship with the homogenizing practices: What are the possibilities and conditions to be taken into consideration of the multiculturalism in school? The teacher’s graduation fits the plural characteristic in the classroom? Therefore, the goal of the research is to understand the concept of the multiculturalism within the school and in the processes of teacher graduation. I intend with that, to list in which grade the school organization favors or not the practices that fit the plural characteristics of the students. For the achievement of the goal, I intend to develop a bibliographic search, from the selected articles of the ANPEd (National Association of Graduate Studies and Research in Education) in the Working Groups (GT): GT04 – Didactic, GT12 – Curriculum e GT13 – Elementary School. I have dialogued with authors who have allowed me to broaden the understanding of school organization and authors who have allowed me to look at multiculturalism both within school and in teacher graduation. And yet, in the search to know practices that fit multiculturalism in school, I did the analysis of the dissertation prepared by an elementary school teacher who went to live with a group of teens, promoting the meeting of the school culture with street culture as a strategy to rescue the humanization of students. The students are singular subjects and, therefore, the interest in knowing different works that attemp to recognize the importance of diversity

Females of the painted turtle, Trachemys scripta, have an annual reproductive cycle. Their nest periods in Brazil starts around September and they lay about 7 - 10 eggs in nests dug in the soil. The eggs hatch in December. It is possible that the nest cover cause problems for the gas diffusion, also, the rain can wet or compact the soil covering the nest, or even soaked the whole area. Those problems may change the nests intern atmosphere decreasing O2 partial pressure (hypoxia) and increasing CO2 partial pressure (hypercarbia). The main objective of this study was to determine if and how hypercarbia (3% and 6%CO2), could influence the eggs and early posthatching development of the Trachemys scripta. We used three experimental groups of eggs incubated in: normal atmosphere (Control group CG, n = 14), hypercarbia with 3% of CO2 (G3%, n = 16) and with 6% of CO2 (G6%, n = 15). The profile of the mass increment during the egg development were not different among the groups, GC = 9.89±0.81g; G3% = 10.11±0.60g and G6% = 10.58±0.36g. In addition, the mass of the post-hatching turtles were the not different. There were not differences between the duration of the incubation period among the experimental groups, GC = 60.12±0.97days, G3% = 59.00±0.98days and G6% = 60.80±1.14days. The mortality rates were not affected by the hypercarbia, GC = 0.43 (43%), G3% = 0.27 (27%) and G6% = 0.37 (37%). Furthermore, the mass increment and the metabolic rate were the same among the early development of the turtles until 3 month after hatching. We conclude that hypercarbia (up to 6% of CO2) does not cause any alteration on the eggs or post-hatching normal development. It is possible that the combination of hypercarbia and hypoxia change those results

Energy is a physical quantity very present in physics. Although extremely useful, its concept is very abstract for most students in high school and college. Identify the presence and form of energy in a given phenomenon is not simple, as there is immediate understanding on the transfer and transformation. This work emphasizes the study of mechanical energy in its different forms as well as the thermal energy, considering the possible transformations between them. To this end, use is mad of toys, exploring its potential as an alternative material to be use in supplement classroom teaching in primary and secondary levels. The proposed use of ludic pedagogy takes into account the author’s experience as an intern project Toy Scientific Department of Physics and its role as mediator in the workshops offered by the project to school at these levels

In order to maintain the competitiveness the companies seek for cost reduction and resource optimization. A product or service price is calculated considering direct and indirect costs involved in its fabrication, which means that if an intern indirect process is optimized, the final price of the product is also reduced and becomes more interesting to the final costumer. Considering this reasoning, the companies must evaluate each of their processes and optimize them. It is common to outsource intern products manufacturing as a cost reduction strategy, nevertheless when there are already resources and capability to produce the own goods, it becomes necessary to evaluate the economic gain that each strategy - make or buy - generates. This paper aims to evaluate the necessary support to take a decision regarding making or buying in a production cell of hoses based in the value of economic cost, system cost and decision process
