Revisitando a literatura sobre o empresariado industrial brasileiro: dilemas e controvérsias

Over the past five decades several different interpretative traditions have taken on the task of trying to explain the origin of industrialists in Brazil and to analyze their behavior pattern from a business perspective, as well as in response to the country's biggest political issues. Although this is a stimulating subject, considering the important role to be played by these social actors in weaving the fabric of capitalist modernization in 20th century Brazil, not much of substance has been written about it, in contrast with, for instance, research about the working class. This paper makes a brief assessment of what we believe to be one of the most significant among the possible variables for interpreting the experience of the industrialist class, which demands the complexity inherent to the topic as a counterpoint to the simplified generalization which is recurrent in most writings about this subject.

Aprendizados com a diferença em uma experiência de paternidade: do testemunho ao cuidado

This essay tells a singular experience of paternity, a parent's relationship to his daughter and learning of a child with special needs. This narrated experience has as an objective of the author's own narration of the transformations of this test, the theoretical features that marked his intellectual trajectory and limits them to express it. From this perspective, this essay seeks to give voice to this unique experience of caring with the goal of establishing a counterpoint with the discourse of inclusion and the specialized knowledge, with a view to a discursive event that produces a philosophical thinking and an apprenticeship with the difference that can promote the self-transformation of individuals who act in this field in their educational action.

In regards to the context of the schooling for less the most favored, the school did not appear as intellectual instrument, and yes as prerequisite to take care of to the new requirements of the work market that if modernized the great social changes together with. The school, in turn, if puts in charge them to know scientific, and, for times, them norms of effective behavior in the society and the familiar group, them feelings and moral values, in a transposition of the “cultural capital” and it “capital stock” that passed by generations. This work, therefore, had as objective to study the expectations of schooling of the child in pertaining to school age, in the universes of the family and the school, from the speech of the agents of this process (parents, responsible, professors and the children) and of some practical educative referring to the schooling of the child, leaving of estimated of that the school is a democratic space, with equality of rights and the duties. Mediated for cultural a historical boarding, one searched to interpret the pertaining to school and familiar context of the participants, by means of a counterpoint with the studied bibliography, being this presented throughout the work. The research was of qualitative character, the data had been collected by means of comment in two classrooms, one of the third and one of the room year. Half-structuralized interviews had been made, that had been recorded e, later, transcribing. The environment of the research was a public school of the basic education of a city of the interior of the State of São Paulo, that received children proceeding from families of the urban popular classrooms. The results of the analysis of the data point that the professors present a vision of ideal model of family and pupil that does not correspond to the reality of the context of these and of the new nomenclatures of the familiar order... The objective of this work is to analyze the literary construction of Camões in the work Que farei com este livro?, by José Saramago. By difficulty in publishing his magnum opus, Os Lusíadas, Camões traverses the various Portuguese authorities in order to be able to give concreteness to his work years in exile. Using historical aspects and gaps on the biography of Camões, Saramago creates a work that shows the inertia that reigned in Portugal after the great conquests. Work of counterpoint between past and present, Que farei com este livro? represents an important reflection on the role of the writer and their challenges in times of decadence.

Duby: uma perspectiva histórica sobre as mulheres medievais

This paper will discuss the wedding in the historical conditions of feudalism, and mainly, summarize partially the book Heloise and Isolde and other ladies of the twelfth century, in which the author provided an historical condition significant, exploring of an original manner the documents known. Then we will see as important medievalists have studied the issues addressed by Duby as kinship, sexuality, male and female, and that were the object of our work, serving as a counterpoint to them.
