O livro trata da utilizao da Televiso Digital na Educao, mais especificamente do uso do t-learning na Educao a Distncia (EaD), discutindo as possibilidades de avano e os limites estruturais da modalidade. Para o autor, o t-learning aplicado ao EaD poderia, se bem trabalhado, ensejar uma incluso cidad por meio de uma educao inovadora, com base em Tecnologias de Informao e Comunicao inclusive j disponveis na sociedade brasileira. O principal foco de anlise do trabalho so as alternativas criadas pela TV Digital interativa (TVDi), uma mdia inovadora capaz de canalizar diversas convergncias - tecnolgica, de processos e de contedos -, e com enorme potencial para dar suporte a ambientes colaborativos de ensino-aprendizagem, abrindo fronteiras para a real universalizao da educao. Segundo o autor, o emprego da TVDi no EaD poderia provocar mudanas at na atitude em geral passiva do aluno-telespectador, dando lugar a um aluno interagente ou interator, apto a se apropriar da interatividade possvel por meio do canal de retorno, e de se posicionar de forma ativa e crtica diante de uma grade de multiprogramao

In the paper analyzes the process of knowledge construction in the news regarding the emergence of massive information and communication technologies. In this context, through a qualitative approach, first we examine the potential of production, dissemination, access and use information in a technocratic perspective, and secondly, the negative impacts stemming from the computed mediation, mainly linked to the complexity of policies of democratization of access to information and loss of criticality of science. The focus of this review focuses on the current model of information search and knowledge construction through the Web, outlining aspects inherent to the process in general. Similarly, envision different contributions of information science for the systematization of human knowledge, guided through the social actions of professionals working in various fields, with emphasis on the information representation and retrieval. It is hoped that work can contribute to the current thematic reflection on the production, dissemination and use of information as well as on digital inclusion policies.

The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) can be combined with the acquisition of academic knowledge and cultural development of students, as they improve their information literacy, and why not say, also digital. Weaim in this research seek references and present experiences that encourage a new concept of school library with the use of ICT in teaching and learning in individual and collective development of the student community. To complement this study we prioritized the following objectives: to insert the technology into the routine of a school library; identify the informational and technological profile of adolescents; understand the needs and technological resources they use to obtain information in daily life and also analyze the importance the effective participation of the school library in the educational context of the school, through greater interaction between the librarian, teacher and pedagogical coordination seeking a cooperative and informal ICT teaching and learning for along with the students, sharing the search for information and knowledge, in a conscious and responsible way. Chosen as theoretical foundation the cognitive studies of Jean Piaget, witch explains how the stages of assimilation and accommodation of knowledge in cooperative practices work. As a methodology was developed a participatory-action research, to learn the behavioral state of young people and adolescents, based on the model of information search for the everyday life (Everyday Life Information Seeking) ELIS, developed by Finnish researcher Savoleinen (2006), as well as identify the informational and technological profile of adolescents from two selected approaches in the scientific literature (HUGUES-HASSEL; AGOSTO, 2007; UCL, 2008). Thus, came up the initiative to create a Confraternity of the Library in a collaborative digital environment, providing the participants discussion and learning technologies as well as digital information literacy enhancement.

This research work aims to analyze and understand the teaching of geography in the perspective of historical and critical pedagogy, with the object of analysis, the Center for Integrated Natural Disaster Alerts (CIADEN) for students in Cycle I of the Elementary School, located in Etec Astor de Mattos Carvalho, in Cabrlia Paulista-SP. Deepening the knowledge of geography teaching in a critical and controversial about the bad weather and the use of new technologies to transform the social order and its relationship with the environment. Contributing to the students and the community have a new proposal for action from the content learned, capable of solving the present and future with respect to weather, climate and natural disasters.
