Reclamações e gestão de crise sob a ótica das relações públicas: um estudo da empresa Wet'n Wild São Paulo

For the last few decades the relationship between companies and their market has been changing, driven by economic and political changes, new social demand, and by the technologic evolution. This new setting, combined with the creation of laws and regulatory agencies, increased the complexity of the relationship between companies and their customers, creating the need for strategies capable of handling the contemporary market's relationship. This context creates the need for new actions to deal with post-sale costume care to create customer loyalty and evaluate its overall satisfaction, in addition to treating possible complaints about their products and services. Along with the new customer's requirements in a dynamic communicational scenario, this paper addresses public relations' role in managing customer's complaints in light of crisis management. Based on the concepts of public relations, the approach of crisis and complaints management processes is constructed based on literature review and analysis of Wet'n Wild São Paulo's claims management. Therefore, the method used was document and content analysis based on documents provided by the company in order to evaluate their actions based on the concepts covered

A integração da medicina complementar e alternativa em sistemas de saúde convencionais

Complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) is becoming increasingly popular, and despite of the growing demand for these practices, physicians and CAM-providers work separately and there is no sufficient effort in the promotion of an integrative health care. Questions like differences of concepts and language, lack of scientific evidence through randomized clinical trials, no regulation of CAM-providers, products and services, besides the lack of government policies in this scope, turn the process of integration difficult and threaten the quality of delivery of health care. Exposição ambiental ao chumbo: um problema de áreas contaminadas próximas a fábricas de baterias

The concentration of metal pollutants such as lead (Pb), has grown and developed in populated areas due to pollution and other human activities. Consequently, the potential for achieve this element food chain has also increased. Lead is very toxic to humans, especially to children, and exposure to lead can cause adverse health effects mainly on human nervous system, bone marrow and kidneys, interfering with chromosomal or genetic processes. This paper presents an overview of the main aspects related to environmental contamination by lead from battery plants. The assessment of an area contaminated by lead in Bauru-SP next a battery factory was reported in this work as well as the entire history of monitoring, classification and application of processes applied by CETESB since 2002. Analyzing the issue in its economic aspects, we found that the degradation of the environment is directly related to the development model adopted by the capitalist system, which is based on the law of supply and demand for products and services. The data presented indicate that Brazil still needs a broader policy where government agencies, industries and population through awareness can be united for the same purpose: to preserve life

The enterprises are in the midst of a competitive and open market, in which, rapidly, new enterprises are created, international competitors are installed on the local market and products and services are invented or improved to ensure quality, sophistication and low cost. In this scenario, the familial enterprises seek survival through new information and strategies to solve existing conflicts and overcome the challenges of the globalized market. However, resistance to change is a factor common to more traditional familial enterprise culture, therefore, modify solid structures, built over many years, reflects insecurity, fragility and threats facing the different. This project aims to analyze the brazilian familial enterprise, in particular the enterprise Móveis Zacarias, as its historical trajectory, representativeness, economic importance, concept, structure, culture and problems that are peculiar, for example, problems with succession, management, professionalism and communication. In addition to demonstrating the importance of Public Relations professional in mediating conflicts in family businesses. Medidas de adequação ambiental para indústria de leite e derivados, como requisito para gestão ambiental

The society continues demonstrating its need regarding the products and services, even though it becomes increasingly value the protection of the environment. In this context, environmental management is defined as a management method that emphasizes to continuously improve results and promote sustainable development. Moreover it has as a tool the laws which provide the benchmarks and mechanisms for companies to adapt their activities in such a way that does not alter the quality of the environment. In this sense, in order to propose improvements to a dairy aiming their environmental suitability, a present study was prepared by following the production activities of the enterprise, the raising of standards and applicable legal requirements and environmental assessment for the preparation of an array of aspects and impacts with the task of identifying the most significant according to MOREIRA (2006). The results indicated that some of the impacts of high relevance are related to the generation of wastewater and solid waste, which do not have treatment and / or proper disposal and indeed require intervention for their suitability. Through, these results were drawn up proposals for actions conformation. In addition, they were proposed meeting the requirement for health and safety at work, in accordance with the standard regulations. This study has the function, therefore, propose to the company in question, an environmental management plan that ensures the protection of the environment and health of employees and consequently the improvement of production processes and products

Otimização do processo de usinagem da superliga nimonic 80A utilizando o Método de Taguchi

Atualmente, atender as necessidades dos consumidores é uma das metas mais importantes, os consumidores estão em busca de produtos com qualidade e preços mais acessíveis, para isso, é indispensável que as empresas se atualizem para melhorar seus produtos e serviços. Com este cenário, as superligas estão cada vez mais ganhando mercado, pois possuem ótimas propriedades, principalmente em relação a operar em temperaturas elevadas, podendo proporcionar maior eficiência para motores que necessitam trabalhar em altas temperaturas. Em contra partida a essa vantagem, as superligas possuem uma baixa usinabilidade, sendo importante a análise do processo de usinagem para se tornarem mais aplicáveis. Este trabalho visa à otimização do processo de torneamento cilíndrico da superliga Nimonic 80A, com o intuito de melhorar a qualidade do produto, utilizando o Método de Taguchi, com o arranjo ortogonal L16, sendo o comprimento de corte definido como variável resposta e analisados seis fatores que poderiam influenciar na sua variação, tais fatores são: velocidade de corte, avanço, profundidade de corte, tipo de pastilha, lubrificação e dureza do material. Os resultados obtidos demonstraram que os fatores avanço, tipo de pastilha e lubrificação são significativos e exercem influencia no processo, sendo que o avanço deve ser ajustado no nível de 0,12 mm/rev, a pastilha a ser utilizada deve ser CP250 e a lubrificação deve ser feita de maneira abundante, para a otimização do processo. Com a análise dos resultados, também podemos observar a eficiência e confiabilidade do método utilizado, mostrando resultados coerentes
