Análise da prática de meditação em duas escolas do município de Rio Claro - SP

Nowadays, meditation had become larger than the mystic’s scope, entering the academy through the scientific interest in this topic. Results documented for so many centuries or the experienced monks that practice meditation for a long time are the aims for researches that want, ultimately, establish the real effects of such techniques upon the human body. Research has gone far, and many effects can be evaluated using more precise methods, specially in the medical field and neuroscience, which had greatly backed up new discoveries about the correlation between the mind, emotions, thoughts and the body, making so that mediation can walk the therapeutic ways and complementary health with more certainty and reliable results, as it is happening with acupuncture and yoga. Facing a promising scenario in the correlation between meditation and life’s quality, well being sensation and happiness, there is the possibility of using it in schools, since because of the difficulties and present challenges, those factors are not commonly associated with the acts of teaching and learning, and acupuncture and Yoga have more restrictions because of their own limitations of time and space necessary for their wide application. Therefore, the current study focused on contextualizing the meditation’s fundaments in the scientific perspective, and apply it, even if qualitatively, in two schools of Rio Claro municipality, researching 57 students from Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA). Therefore, it was chosen only one meditation tecnique to be applied on the treatment group. As for the control group, it perfomed normal breathing, i.e., without tecniques. Estados emocionais em professores recém-formados: análise contextual

In general, the early career is a period marked by crises. Hubermam (1992) points out that this period is considered by the teacher as one of life's most difficult professional teaching. According to Machado (2004), the physical education worked only in competitive perspective in school, does not contribute to the school to perform its social role. This approach encourages the use of stigmas, labels and prejudices, so common in school, that marginalize even more students from lower classes, and can make the sport of high performance within the school walls create students with low self-esteem and low motivation within other possible disorders . Thus, this study presents the fundamental importance to aid and support to novice teachers, so that they can understand, and address key emotional aspects that interfere in their practice. Thus, our aim was to identify the most recurrent emotional processes in novice teachers identify and also how these emotional states can influence the professional and personal attitudes of these teachers. Through a bibliographic we seek statements, reports and case studies that provide enough material to our analysis and interpretation in order to collaborate with the study area and proceed to proposals that are not unreasonable or tied to the current system. Among the emotional states reported in the literature, we highlight the main, more present and influent in the beginner teacher as listed as follow: Anxiety, Stress, Fear, Shame, Low Self Confidence and Motivation. During the retaining wall project in soil reinforced with geogrids and face milling system for segmental blocks is essential to determine the maximum connection resistance between the block and the geogrid. Thus, the aim of this study was to analyze the connection resistance based on ASTM D- 6638-01 between the segmental block model MW of Muros Terrae® company with the geogrids model Fortrac® M 35 / 20x20, Fortrac® M 55 / 30x20, Fortrac® M 80 / 30x20 and Fortrac® M 110 / 30x20 of HUESKER Synthetic GmbH using gravel 1 as a filling material. As a result, the resistance curves were obtained for the four models of geogrids and was described how it fracture. An additional investigation was the average gain connection resistance percentage when it is applied to geogrid a second layer instead of a single layer. The average percentage gains in the connection resistance to the geogrids model Fortrac® M 35 / 20x20, Fortrac® M 55 / 30x20, Fortrac® M 80 / 30x20 and Fortrac® M 110 / 30x20 were, respectively, 63.20 %, 63, 47%, 62.23 % and 51.34 %. Finally, we made a comparative analysis of the results of this study with those obtained by Guimarães (2006), Urashima et. al (2008) and Almeida and Toma (2011) to evaluate which combinations offered higher connection resistance

Placing the management of childhood forms considered at risk, we discuss the operation of a welfare institution and its effects on the subjective process. Created to manage the virtues of the poor behavior of children, makes visible to the way technology features disciplinary policies: surveillance is evident of cameras, high walls, electric fences and in the eyes of educators, the penalty stands normalizing practices corrective aimed at standardization bodies, educational meetings are compared to the examination, as they produce dossiers of individual behavior, emphasizing characteristics that are considered dangerous anticipates the administration and production of docile individuals, useful, productive, applying identity models. Following the lines of knowledge and power relations that constitute this space, we used the genealogy in the analysis of discursive practices that cross society in its historical construction, the genealogy allows us to achieve these movements in the consolidation process of the government of life, and also, the deconstruction of hegemonic practices. In an attempt to escape the set, we propose the realization of artistic and cultural activities within a process of collective construction as a strategy of resistance and confrontation with the dominant logic, consolidating practices that favor the enhancement of life in its manifold possibilities.

Novas faces da violência escolar: possíveis diálogos entre moral e violência

A violência, fenômeno multifacetado e socialmente recorrente, há muito invadiu os muros das escolas. Diversos são os relatos sobre manifestações de violência na escola que vão desde a violência simbólica, verbal até a física. Sendo assim, este trabalho tem como objetivo compreender as atuais concepções sobre a violência e articular estas com as teorias do desenvolvimento da moralidade humana, com o intuito de estudar as formas de como essa violência, segundo a teoria do desenvolvimento moral, aparece nas escolas na contemporaneidade. Concluímos que as teorias do desenvolvimento moral, tanto na sua parte teórica quanto metodológica, andam se tornando fundamentais na busca de diálogos que promovam mais amadurecimento de conceitos como: a dignidade, a justiça, a bondade, a solidariedade e ao respeito a outros seres humanos, com o intuito de promover uma educação pacificadora e, desta forma, anular significativamente a violência e a sua banalização, principalmente nas escolas.
