The article analyses some characteristics of drug consumption at this moment. Two sources of data are used: interviews made, between 2005 and 2008, with addicts and two narratives about drugs, released by the published market (Arti cial Paradise by Charles Baudelaire and !e Last Opium Dem by Nick Tosches). Two concepts are priorized: boredom and insu"ciency vexatious. By them, the article shows that nowadays capitalism dynamic, centred in the continuous production of past devaluation and in the impulse toward a triumphant competitivity, it is impoverishing coletive life and it is spreading out on a large scale the use of psicoactive substances.

Neste estudo desenvolvemos algumas reflexões sobre possíveis relações entre ecologia, cultura do consumo e juventude. Partimos da hipótese de que a juventude, estando mais vulnerável às investidas do mercado, em uma sociedade marcada pelo “hiperconsumo”, se encontra em frágeis condições para a formação de atitudes mais saudáveis nas relações com o seu ambiente compreendido nas dimensões física, grupal e da própria subjetividade. As relações entre ecologia, cultura de consumo e juventude são estudadas por meio da coleta dos sentidos produzidos por adolescentes e jovens que se configuram nas chamadas “tribos urbanas”, tais como se expressam em letras de músicas e em discursos colocados em circulação na rede internacional de comunicação. Trazemos para o conjunto de nossas reflexões algumas letras de músicas de grande sucesso compartilhadas entre a juventude, especificamente aquelas intituladas “emocore” ou “hardcore emocional”, que configuram um estilo de grupo em seu viver urbano. Rastreamos nas músicas as marcas de um estilo de vida em suas conexões com modos de consumo e com arranjos de sentidos no dinâmico movimento da cultura. Também colocamos em evidência um conjunto de falas que nos permitem identificar outras marcas de relações entre o jeito de ser jovem e as possíveis buscas de soluções para problemas existenciais por meio da composição de modos de consumo. Deste modo, a abordagem da ecologia sustenta a instituição de um ambiente cultural em que acertos de convívios estabelecidos no interior de um determinado grupo implicam em formas de consumo.

The lithium industry has changed and the producers of lithium carbonate form South America play a dominant role in the world. This paper discusses the South American geological resources, production and producers of lithium considering the potential growth in lithium consumption for electric vehicle batteries. Taking into account the manufacturing companies and their external connections, their participation in corporate groups and the international market for the stocks of metal, in addition to facts and updates that affect this market and its key growth trends. This inventory of the most important reserves takes into account the geological context of the formation of these deposits, including a description of the types of deposits exploited in the world today. Besides the general description was made a brief description of the South American resources, more exploited by the media (Salar de Atacama, Salar de Hombre Muerto, Salar de Uyuni) and Pegmatites of Província Pegmatítica Oriental do Brasil and Província Seridó-Borborema).

In 2004 two trading environment for contracts of purchase and of electricity energy were established, the Regulated Contracting Environment (RGE) and the Free Contracting Environment (FCE). In the first one, consumers can only buy their energy directly from local electricity distribution, and in the second one, consumers can choose their delivery, amount and type of energy that they will burn through bilateral contracts. Thus, before deciding to migrate to the FCE, it is necessary understanding the rules of marketing, the risk involved and the economic viability of the two markets so can determine which environment has more benefits to the consumer. This paper aims to offer tools to support takeover decision of potentially free costumers, who have the option to migrate to market in order to evaluate the benefits and disadvantages of each market. This paper has also considered the new rules of the third rate cycle, where consumers can opt for green tax. The methodology presented is based on calculations of spending with energy and the risk of flag in captive market and free market in one year

O estudo proposto focaliza o modo como os professores recebem, consomem e se apropriam de projetos educativos que são implementados nas escolas de ensino fundamental. Trata-se de um estudo de caso que focaliza a implementação, iniciada em 2008, do Projeto Lego Education em escolas de uma rede municipal de ensino no interior paulista. A implementação do referido projeto insere-se em um contexto mais amplo marcado pelo crescimento de um “rentável mercado formativo” (Nóvoa, 1999) entre nós atualmente. Diante desse contexto, surge uma questão: Como foi, para os professores daquela rede de ensino, a inserção do Projeto Lego Education em seu trabalho docente e como os mesmos lidam com o projeto atualmente? Para tentar responder a essa questão o presente estudo foi realizado com os professores que foram capacitados e atuaram na implementação do projeto, a partir de entrevistas semi-estruturadas e observações. Objetivou-se investigar como o referido projeto foi apropriado (de Certeau, 1994) pelos professores na sua implementação e como os mesmos percebem o projeto atualmente. Pretendeu-se identificar, assim, maneiras pelas quais os professores relacionam-se com materiais didáticos, livros/guias do professor e cursos de capacitação docente ligados ao Projeto Lego Education, procurando caracterizar as maneiras como os mesmos se apropriam e consomem (de Certeau, 1994) tais produtos que lhes são dirigidos. Nesse estudo foi realizada também a análise de documentos relacionados ao Projeto Lego Education (sites das empresas envolvidas, manuais e revistas, entre outros materiais), focando em como esses materiais se referem ao professor e sua prática em sala de aula. This work is an action research conducted in an industry of consumer goods, presenting a new model of inventory management in the company's processors. This replacement of the inventory management of the company stemmed from the need to reduce the large number of deviations in the product write off in stock, thereby generating a low accuracy and reliability of data on inventories of processors shown by the company's ERP system. Spending on inventory adjustments could thus be reduced with the implementation of the new model, thus generating a cost savings for the company and thus increasing their competitive potential in the market. In the old system adopted by the company, write off raw material inventory was done automatically by the system for customized transactions by the company. However, since the implementation of ERP in the company, the automatic write off based on historical consumption of each product were made in many cases at random, generating a lot of mistakes. The new management system has replaced the automatic system by manual at the time of the return of the processed product in the company, thus creating a control which lots and quantities were consumed in the processing and making the stock shown by the ERP reliable and accurate

This work aims to study the luxury and discuss their applications in business, through the vision of a public relations professional. The author believes that luxury is based on high product quality at all stages that involve the co nsumption of this, and public relations professional is able to show how to use because it is trained to recognize and communicate with the most different audiences. Therefore, understanding the concept of luxury not only as a market, but guiding values in contemporary society, and from this concept of questioning, seeking to apply it, becomes, as proposed in this paper, a goal for any company want to keep the market through customer acquisition

Brazil is one of the largest milk producers in the world, with an estimated total production of 37 billion liters in 2014. Of this total, 33% is not inspected, being destined for the informal market. Objective: The aim of this study was to collect and analyze data on raw milk consumption in the city of Araraquara (SP, Brazil). Methods: Regular milk consumers were provided with exploratory questionnaires in locations chosen for convenience. The reproducibility of each question was tested by Kappa statistics. Associations of interest were 2 detected by the chi-squared (χ ) or Fisher's exact test. Statistical significance was established when p0.05. Results: Most of the volunteers (97.6%) reported consuming milk daily, the type of milk chosen most, mainly for ease of purchase, being boxed UHT. Regarding raw milk, 15.3% of volunteers said they consume it, the greatest consumption being observed among subjects with complete secondary or higher education. The majority of the participants reported knowing of the possibility of diseases being transmitted by unprocessed milk. Most respondents pointed to "flavor" as the main reason for consumption. Only 15.3% reported that someone in their house had become ill from drinking milk, and only 4.1% attributed this to the ingestion of raw milk. Conclusion: It was found that 15.3% of consumers drink raw milk in the city of Araraquara, which is more than the expected proportion in a medium sized city located in the state of São Paulo.
