A indstria de software se destaca por sua transversalidade em diversas cadeias produtivas. Tambm de importante relevncia para o desenvolvimento de um parque industrial consolidado, uma vez que, apresenta-se como pea chave no desenvolvimento das atividades ligadas a micro-eletrnica. Todavia, um produto que possui caractersticas diferenciadas dos demais produtos manufaturados. Ou seja, formado por uma seqncia de conhecimentos lgicos que delimitam quais so as funes que o produto ir desempenhar, tal formao concede um carter de imaterialidade a este. O carter imaterial e a dificuldade de mensurar o real valor agregado do software, devido a sua transversalidade, instigam a curiosidade para investigar os reais benefcios que o setor pode gerar para a estrutura produtiva de um determinado pas. O presente trabalho tem por objetivo apresentar as grandes empresas de software e principalmente analisar os tipos de atividades que so desenvolvidas mundialmente por estas. Procura tambm analisar as atividades offshoring, isto , aquelas que so realizadas por empresas multinacionais em outros pases levando em conta a sua estratgia global. Busca tambm dar uma nfase nas atividades realizadas no Brasil, com isto procura mapear o papel dos pases em desenvolvimento nestas atividades. A metodologia ser desenvolvida a partir de coleta do material bibliogrfico, com dois propsitos distintos: entender os tipos de atividades do setor, dinmica concorrencial, etapas do processo produtivo, evoluo histrica e mercado; e tambm um estudo do processo de internacionalizao, focando o fenmeno de offshoring e as estratgias competitivas das empresas do setor. This study aimed to analyze the increase of yield provided by a software optimization cutting in a pine sawmill, located at southwest region of So Paulo, city of Itapeva. First were measured 10 logs that were processed by conventional sawing system by measuring the volume of products in the process output. Then using a cutting optimization software, that generated cuts diagrams, 10 logs, from 25 to 26 cm diametrical class, were processed by sawing system optimized. For the conventional sawing, the value found to yield was 41.80%, whereas for the unfolding optimized showed the value of 61.79%, resulting in a difference of 19.99%. This study shows that there is room for significant improvement of performance in sawmills sawing with the use of optimization software as the employee at work

Acceleration is a key parameter for engineering and is becoming increasingly important because of the need for companies to become more competitive in the market. Both applying new technologies to their products and optimizing their process lines with predictive maintenance and robotic automation. This study aims to analyze the quality of the signals obtained from a capacitive accelerometer. To do that a test rig was mounted, which consist of a shaker, fed by a signal generator, a linear potentiometer and a capacitive accelerometer; for the signal acquisition was used a acquisition board and the Labview software, in order to integrate twice the signal from the accelerometer and compare it with the sign of the potentiometer. This work also demonstrates the impact of acquired signal processing as well as techniques of pre and post processing of signal via software GNU/Octave

There are many approaches and techniques about Administration and Management of Projects in order to provide greater agility, efficiency and transparency during the development process of new products. Simultaneously, a pursuit for a management approach more flexible in its planning and strategic changes during the development campaign, such as, comprehend the project's unpredictability level and deal it by monitoring and estimates tools. These features tend to accentuate itself in manufacturers of complex products, as aircraft and other aerospace technologies. By these conditions thus research aims to describe a case when the Agile Management Processing of Project Development Scrum was used in the Test area of an aircraft manufacturer. Focused on the Scrum implementation over the area, its adaptation, evolution and achievements the research proposes to analyze the improvements, indicate the obstacles and discuss solutions, contributing then to the theoretical basis of the considered theme and futures updates applicable to the area. The research is classified as qualitative; furthermore the information and data analyzed were obtained by interviews with professionals and observations of the processes from the major aircraft manufacturer

The software quality represents a more and more important attribute for the survival and growth of software industries. In order to ensure the quality of products manufactured, various practices have been incorporated into the development process. In this context, some successful software organizations have invested in an approach to human resource management, which consists in integrating the management activities with a personal process called Personal Software Process - PSP, which has led to the maintenance of greater discipline and control over all development phases. Given this, this work presents a proposal for integration of techniques set out in the PSP with a web system previously developed, which is called System to Aid Project Management - SAPM.

O presente trabalho busca apresentar um mtodo de balanceamento de rao (estudo de caso) que oferea as exigncias necessrias para o desenvolvimento de animais ruminantes, com diversas fontes de protenas ao custo mnimo de produo para os produtores. Deste modo, o confinamento tem surgido como uma importante ferramenta para o pecuarista, que deseja ganhar em escala no seu sistema de produo e qualidade em seus produtos. Assim, a adoo de tcnicas de manejo e alimentao que viabilizem a produo de carnes de melhor qualidade torna-se muito importante para colocar o setor pecurio em situao de igualdade com os grandes pases produtores de carne. Para a realizao deste trabalho, foi feito um levantamento bibliogrfico e uma pesquisa de campo com o administrador de uma fazenda no municpio de Presidente Prudente-SP. Atravs dos resultados obtidos, pode-se verificar que neste estabelecimento tm diminudo seus lucros, principalmente em virtude dos altos custos da alimentao.

It is important to ensure smoothly operation of a transmission line, sending energy to the consumption centers with minimal interruptions and safer. With this necessity, the fault location techniques have grown, in order to mitigate the impact of the fault and its correction can be more quickly and accurately. This paper presents a comparison between two different techniques of fault location, the fault location by impedance method, which uses the line parameters, the impedance per distance, voltage and current signals, and the other is the traveling wave method, which uses only a very fast analysis of time, synchronization and length between the line ends, do not using voltage and current values, but the temporal perception of the fault. Using travelling waves fault detection makes the previous knowledge of line parameters obsolete, which helps a lot network technicians and engineers with a quick and easy analysis. The methods are simulated in ATP Draw software, so both algorithms can be evaluated for their effectively and accuracy
