The presented text aims to evaluate the causes that leading to the development of the informal sector and primarily its consequences for the registered economy (formal). Therefore, defines the concept of the shadow economy, and sets out its varied activities. The objective is to analyze the growth of this phenomenon in Brazil, since its supposed rise in the early 70's until recent days. Finally, it will be introduced some measurement methods that allow estimating the size of the shadow economy. Among these methods, in order to evaluate the behavior of the informal sector in Brazil, it was used the MIMIC model (Multiple Indicators and Multiple Causes) that consists of a statistical theory of unobserved variables, or also called latent, which considers multiple causes and multiple effects or indicators. This paper analyzes the transformations in Brazilian society, especially in relations between the fields of work, education and youth. The implementation of a new logic in the process of capital accumulation, changes meant to hit the job market, causing new social issues, especially for youth, which can be translated by rising unemployment and new job settings, thus, have sparked a broad debate around the requirements that the market imposes on that intend to engage in it, relations skills, knowledge and ability to enter the labor market of the population, reissuing the discussion on social inequalities that required the field of alternative public policies to address this situation of exclusion. Turning to the reflection on the process of qualification / training and placing young people in employment relationships, this study aims to address and reflect on educational policies aimed at the inclusion ofyouth in the labor market, as well as analyze the actions of generating jobs and skills for young people between 18 and 29 years to do so, we will examine the National Youth Inclusion Program- PROJOVEM - sponsored by the Federal Governrnent, which aims to expand the service to the youngsters excluded from school and vocational training, allowing young people to be reintegrated into the educational process, receiving social skills training

Baja SAE competitions challenge engineering students to design and build offroad vehicles, preparing them for the competitive job market. This monograph aims to study a part of the braking of a Baja SAE vehicle system, the brake disc. Giving attention to the wear suffered by discs of two different materials, steel 1045 and stainless steel 304, helping the team Piratas do Vale Bardahl in the best selection between them. Braking tests were performed on a test bench. Both discs have suffered the same braking conditions. Brake pads material, brake line pressure, braking time, number of braking, were parameters which were repeated in the testing of different types of disk, in order to ensure a high power comparison between the obtained data. Before and after the disk tests were weighed and measured, to make a comparison. After the brake tests, the disks were subjected to hardness and surface roughness testing. With the data collected and observations made in the worn parts, the comparison between these two materials was made, obtaining a selection of the best material for the team. The tests showed that steel 1045 has more advantages, compared to stainless steel 304, when applied to brake discs, on the tested conditions

The large number of dentists in Brazilian job market has increased the competitiveness in the dentistry field, leading the professional to use different strategies in an attempt to attract more patients. This study aimed to report different forms of dental marketing, showing how they can strengthen the bond between professional and patient, making it an alternative to face the competitive market. It was concluded that there are various marketing tools that can be applied in an effective and simple manner; since supported on ethics, it can make the dentist be highlighted, attracting and retaining patients and ensuring their professional success.

The enrollments in technical courses outgrew beyond 70% between 2002 and 2010. It has made fundamental to look after this educational segment because of the changes in the job market, associated with the promulgation of the Law #11.741, witch disentails the High Scholl from the Professional Education, points out to some better understanding of this population. This study intended to trace the profile of this student. The socioeconomic criteria by Abipeme (Brazilian Association of Market Research Institutes) was used, and the most important item was age, with a result higher than expected to this educational phase, about 24 years old. The respondents characterized themselves as pertaining to B and C economical classes.

Based on the precepts of social inclusion, this research objected to examine the employment of people with disability(PWD), according to decree nº 3.298 which establishes hiring quotas for PWD in companies with 100 or moreemployees. Interviews were made with employees of HR departments in 12 different companies located in the westside of the state of São Paulo, based on a structured script. All the interviews were transcripted and gathered inanalysis categories. The results showed that one third of private companies comply with the regulation foremployment of PWD. Corporate policies prioritize hiring of people whose disabilities do not demand structuralmodifications in the work environment, or those whose disabilities represent a positive aspect for production lines.The majority of the interviewed understand disabilities as an individual phenomenon. Although they have talkedabout equal rights for everyone, the majority of them do not present a consistent speech based on the precepts ofsocial inclusion, for they fail to promote actions for supporting the population with disabilities and expecting thatthose with disabilities are the ones responsible to adjust themselves to all imposed conditions.

An outcome of economic growth is increased employment, but this should not be the only measure to assess a country's labour market, it is also important to verify whether the jobs created are considered good jobs. Thus, this study analyses the Brazilian labour market from 2000 to 2009, in terms of the quantity and quality of jobs generated in this period. To this end, a descriptive analysis was performed, in addition to an evaluation using econometrics and the data envelopment analysis (DEA) technique. The results of the research indicated that the Brazilian labour market is growing in terms of its quality.
