O desenvolvimento da agricultura matogrossense: 1970/85

O objetivo deste trabalho foi analisar o desenvolvimento da agricultura matogrossense, através de variáveis relacionadas à estrutura fundiária, uso da terra, tecnologia e capital, emprego e relações de trabalho nas 13 microrregiões dos Estados de Mato Grosso e Mato Grosso do Sul. O período analisado foi de 1970 a 1985. Os resultados mostram que o processo de intensificação no uso da terra e no uso de apitai veio acompanhado de uma diminuição na concentração da terra e na participação da mão-de-obra familiar.

Recordações de um fragmento da história da imigração japonesa no Brasil

This paper proposes to investigate a specific fragment of the history of Japanese immigration to Brazil: labor relations during the period before the outcome of World War II. To this end, choosing oral history as a research method, and assumptions of historical materialism as a theoretical framework, we sought to examine the accounts of experiences remembered by a group of elderly women in this community of immigrant settlers. Theys participated both in the São Paulo coffee work in the first decades of the twentieth century, as the planting of cotton, in the 1930s.

O futebol sobre a ótica do tema transversal trabalho e consumo

The cross-cutting themes, which are characteristic express concepts and values of citizenship and correspond to important and urgent issues to society, should be treated within the school context , for all disciplines . Just like football, specific content of physical education, which most often is approached only by the technical and tactical aspects. The aim of this study was to analyze football from the perspective of labor and consumption and to propose activities for teachers to this content and theme in physical education classes. We investigated, in particular, the influence brands, media and the effect of the globalization phenomenon in this sport, and later thematic activities. The methodology used was qualitative type, which is from a thick description of the details about the situation analyzed and evaluated. In the first step a literature survey was conducted to understand and analyze the topic of this work. In the second, the activities were prepared, with the teacher ways to treat football from the perspective of labor and consumption from the themes presented in the goal. The activities were directed to students in the 9th grade of elementary school. It is expected that with the study, football can be see addition to the procedural dimension in class and the teacher values the critical training, and labor relations and consumption Football and any other content of school physical education. Activities that assist teachers in their future projects, jobs and classes. It is also hoped that the sport can be studied and understood both historically and critically in Brazil, the football country

Globalização e reconfigurações do mercado de trabalho em Portugal e no Brasil

The article discusses the processes of transformation that are underway in the contexts of Portuguese and Brazilian labor markets. Starting with a reflection on globalization and some of its impacts - resulting from technological changes and the introduction of new information technologies, accompanied by an economic policy that favors deregulation and flexibility of labor relations -, it analyses some trends regarding precarious employment in both countries. The discussion is grounded on the assumption that job precariousness, which currently affects all age and professional groups, is not anymore a mere cyclical and peripheral phenomenon.

A configuração de forças na constituição histórica do trabalho como estratégia de cuidado em saúde mental: problematizações foucaultianas

Investigated in this paper, as contributions to Foucault's genealogy of knowledge, the historical constitution of the joint activities between Work and Care in Mental Health (called Therapeutic Workshops, among other names) in their different purposes and dimensions that contributed to the production care of patients with psychological distress at different times. History is here understood as a multiplicity (and nonlinearity) of time series and various blending and shuffleforming speeches as truths. In conjunction we have discussed, we conclude that the work as a therapeutic modality in nursing homes, there emerged in the world of psychiatry, but of capitalism. Associated with measures of occupation "empty minds" of misfits, later earned the position of an instrument of discipline and social regulation.
