The aim of this study was to develop a case study of road Aparecida, where it noticed a large movement of people with disabilities who use the road, bound for the city's churches. Another objective was to compare the minimum dimensions established by law, with the dimensions of the spaces (slope of ramps, wide sidewalks, etc.) on the road of Aparecida. Starting from this fact, a study was done on the architectural barriers faced by people with special needs and disabled. It was also made a field survey in order to know the opinion of the users about the accessibility of pregnant elderly and disabled in the road. Technical visits were also made in order to detect sites with access problems with special needs. Also were proposed guidelines for renovation of the building where the road works

Mídia radical: análise comparativa entre a opinião da grande imprensa e da mídia radical no novo código florestal

The objective of this work is to compare how manifests the ideological positioning in the hegemonic media productions, according to Gramsci's conception, in relation to the radical alternative media, proposed by John Downing. The research has as opinionated content sample printed newspaper O Estado de s. Paulo, contrasting with the expressions of NON-PROFIT bauruense environmental “Instituto Ambiental Vidágua on the proposals of the new Brazilian forest Code. Um estudo de caso sobre a organização escolar e as relações interpessoais dentro do âmbito educacional

Violence and school organization are always current issues. And to investigate these two issues, the present study was carried within a public school in the city for being considered a model of educative institution. The analysis focused on finding out why some institutions are considered good and others not and also to explain how these good relations within the school studied. Therefore, we first observed the school in its stages: entry and exit of students, breaks and classroom activities. Then consult the official documents, such as the Management Plan, Rules, Standards, among others. And finally we interviewed staff, targeting participants in the educational process (principal, teacher, staff, students). Facing this data we verified that a good relationship is needed on the beliefs and the search for a favorable environment is the aim for everyone, especially regarding to teaching-learning processes of a student, that is: teamwork. And as every institution has its flaws, we nee greater participation, especially of what we call school community (parents and relatives).

Morte e morrer: opinião dos profissionais de saúde de uma unidade de terapia intensiva pediátrica

Presently, the dying process and death most often occur in hospitals and, particularly, in Intensive Care Units (ICU), where patients’ lives are prolonged thanks to advanced technological devices and highly efficient medicines. To learn about the opinion of health care professionals working at a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in relation to the dying process and dying. This is a descriptive quantitative study. A questionnaire was applied to the unit’s staff members from June to August, 2011. Data were statistically analyzed. Twenty-five professionals answered the questionnaire, and 72% faced death as a natural life process. 60% felt compassion, but that feeling did not interfere with how they cared for patients. Concerning their professional training, 52% reported not to have received any concerning patients’ caregivers in the dying process or death; therefore, they experienced such situation when they were already working, and 76% reported to be interested in updating courses on that theme. Further discussion about this topic during academic education is necessary. It is also necessary to provide health care professionals with specialization courses, debates and experience exchange so that they can better understand and deal with their feelings and limitations in face of death and thus give better care to patients and relate to patients’ families during the dying process of a loved one

Therefore, duscysses principles and instruments of the objects mentioned, conducting study on actions taken by the Municipality of Botucatu city during the anniversary year of 2012, with na emphasis on the social event, Food Court Solidarity. The instruments studied contribute to the strengthening of relations between government and citizens, while complying with its commitments under its plan, meeting the demands of the population

A imagem do técnico Bernardinho na opinião de alunos graduandos e professores de Educação Física escolar

A importância da mídia no mundo atual é evidente, pois ela exerce muita influência no âmbito da cultura corporal de movimento, que engloba lutas, danças, ginástica, conhecimento sobre o corpo, esporte e jogos, conteúdos de extrema importância para a formação do cidadão, ditando fazeres sobre as diversas práticas corporais e criando novos modelos de consumo. Dentro desse contexto o ídolo esportivo é intercambiável, negociável e consumível como imagem. Sendo assim a representação que um ídolo exerce sobre o indivíduo (telespectador) é referência de atitudes e a mídia contribui para a construção dessa imagem. Por causa dessa exposição, o técnico de vôlei Bernardo Rocha de Rezende passou a ter maior ascensão no cenário esportivo nacional, resolvi realizar esse estudo para investigar a opinião de alunos graduandos em Educação Física e professores da Educação Física escolar sobre a imagem do técnico Bernardinho. Objetivo: O objetivo do trabalho é investigar como a imagem do técnico Bernardo de Souza Rezende (Bernardinho), influenciada pela mídia, é interpretada por alunos graduandos em Educação Física e professores de Educação Física Escolar. Metodologia: A metodologia desta pesquisa de natureza qualitativa será realizada em duas etapas, sendo a primeira referente a uma pesquisa bibliográfica, e a segunda etapa relativa ao trabalho é entrevista semi-estruturada. A entrevista foi realizada com 10 alunos de graduação nos cursos de Bacharelado e Licenciatura em Educação Física da Universidade Estadual Paulista – Campus Rio Claro e 5 professores de Educação Física escolar. Resultados e Discussões: Com as respostas obtidas podemos ver que o imaginário, dos alunos e professores entrevistados, em relação à imagem do Bernardo é de um técnico extremamente participativo, comprometido e o melhor técnico de vôlei. A posição do sujeito em diferentes gêneros textuais do jornal O Araraquarense: um estudo variacionista

Este trabalho objetiva estudar o fenômeno da posposição do sujeito com relação ao verbo em distintos tipos e gêneros do jornal: O Araraquarense do início do século XX, e verificar se há alguma diferença entre eles, quanto à posição do sujeito na frase. A escolha de um corpus jornalístico é devida ao fato de seu texto ser muito propício para analisar os processos de implementação de uma possível mudança no português brasileiro; por se tratar de um texto público, o qual atua sobre os elementos da situação sócio-histórica em que está inserido e por sofrer influências dessa situação. Foram analisados dados coletados de artigos de opinião e notas sociais, levando em conta os tipos textuais: descrição, dissertação, injunção e narração (TRAVAGLIA, 2003, p.103). Constatou-se que os tipos (dissertativo e narrativo) foram predominantes nos artigos de opinião, e que somente o tipo narrativo esteve presente nas notas sociais. A posição do sujeito foi analisada em função dos seguintes grupos de fatores: tipo sintático do verbo, tipo morfológico do sujeito, padrão de construção e tipo textual. Como principais resultados, constatou-se: (i) um índice de posposição de 47% em notas sociais e de 19,2% em artigos de opinião; (ii) tipo do verbo (transitivo direto) 21,7% em artigos de opinião e 44,7% em notas sociais; neste mesmo gênero os verbos (inacusativo, bitransitivo, intransitivo e verbo de ligação) apresentaram, respectivamente, 71%, 45%, 37% e 37,9%; (iii) tipo morfológico do sujeito (sintagma nominal) em artigo de opinião 16,5% e 41,4% em notas sociais, 28,2% de (pronome pessoal) em artigo de opinião e 68,3% de (nome próprio) em notas sociais; (iiii) tipo textual (narrativo) 47,6% em notas sociais e em artigo de opinião 18,8% (dissertativo) e 27,8% (injuntivo)

Opinião de professores sobre a sexualidade e a educação sexual de alunos com deficiência intelectual

Using a questionnaire for quantitative and qualitative analysis, this descriptive study investigated the opinion of 451 teachers about sexuality and sexual education of students with intellectual disabilities. The majority (94.2%) perceives the sexuality of their students with intellectual disabilities, identifies their desire to date (38.3%), occurrence of questions (35.8%), sexual games and masturbation (19.6%) and the inappropriate behavior (6.3%); before that, they have positive feelings (37.5%) and negative (53.8%). Teachers believe they can contribute to the sexual education of their students (87.8%), however, they considered necessary the own training (39.9%) or the support of the school and the family (24.4%). It is important to invest in continuous training in sexual education for teachers working in inclusive schools.
