Figurações contemporâneas do espaço na literatura

Neste livro abre-se a uma diversidade de acepções que o conceito de espaço abriga nos objetos e cenários literários contemporâneos. O próprio texto como um espaço espacializante, na sua textualidade como corpo ou na visualidade da escrita, configura um espaço de linguagem. O contexto cultural e histórico envolve referências e dados situados em determinados momentos que articulam um espaço de relações com o texto literário. O espaço da institucionalização, com as representações de poder, o espaço social, o espaço como paisagem, nas configurações natural, regional, física e psicológica, e o espaço do mito com suas imagens e sentidos simbólicos, são outras formas de mobilização do conceito. O espaço pictórico, quer como elemento componente da pintura ou como a própria linguagem na composição da escritura, que se vale de técnicas plásticas, também é contemplado, assim como esse tipo de diálogo abriga outros meios e linguagens, como o cinema, a propaganda, a fotografia, nas relações entre as artes. Há também a possibilidade de se rever o objeto literário, em termos de espacialidade, sob essa perspectiva múltipla do olhar contemporâneo. Ou seja, no lugar daquele sentido restrito de categoria estrutural, o conceito incorpora uma visão ampla e metafórica, dentro da qual o próprio texto faz emergir uma concepção e função da espacialidade por meio de suas estratégias de construção. Diante de tantas possibilidades de leitura do conceito, o presente livro reúne textos que abordam aspectos da simbolização espacial em obras literárias que implicam um olhar contemporâneo para essas figurações.

The present production aims to approach environmental sustainability and communication to demonstrate that the public relations´s professional is capable of legitimation process´s assistance of ethics and coherent speechs and capable of sense´s construction´s assistance for environmental sustainability on contemporary organizations. This position shows that organization´s consistent speechs are connected with its institutional mission and effort besides, it is value and sensitive to interested parts that emphasis the environmental preservation and environmental project´s introduction, integrating organization with community. On this context it is constructed a discussion about Sustainability Report´s content and guidelines used for sustainability reporting framework, as where as main environmental organizational activities, analyzing three different companies and its respective Sustainability Reports on 2009. Thereby, it is pointed out relevance of efficient communication which deal with opposite interests between organizations and its stakeholders so that public relations focus on strategic management trying to include negotiation, dialogue, transparency and ethics to line up both interests

Cidades sustentáveis: análise comparativa com cidades contemporâneas

Currently the world is under an energy revolution, every day more technologies are developed in order to better use the energy for having better energy efficiency of equipment and processes with minimal environmental degradation. Taking into account that thousands of people live in built environments in the context of cities and that the energy flow to this location is significant, it is important to study the built environment as a potential source of savings, energy recovery and regeneration, because cities are the major bottlenecks energetic. Therefore, this study aimed to examine and to list the most important and promising technologies to be used in the built environment to collect or save energy that would be wasted, such as clothes that generate energy through movement or solar incidence, facades of buildings that generate energy due to solar radiation, fitness centers that produce electricity due to the rotation used in fitness equipment for athletes, elevators that take advantage of the potential energy or use it more rationally, generators that take advantage of energy vibrational, and finally more sustainable vehicles with higher performance and less degrading the environment. The information and results obtained from this study show that the technologies used to harness energy before lost are increasingly evident and also is increased the progress relative to the energy use in a urban context. In the closure, a comparison of energy expenditure between a city that uses some of these sustainable technologies and another of the same size with conventional habits is presented

Diferentes mídias em parceria e cooperação: grandes produtoras de identidades contemporâneas

The aim of this paper is to present the results of a research in the area of Discourse Analysis, to describe discourses found in the media about the identities constructed in the Second Life virtual communities network and, to find out what discursive strategies are produced by the profile “fashion in the soap operas” hosted in the Twitter micro-blogging as an attempt to have a significant number of logfiles and to discover what leads men, women and, teenagers to participate of this “fashion in the soap operas” interaction. Our corpus consists of printed media reportings that present users of Second Life and its avatars with a proposal of new identities, including the utterances produced by the profile “fashion in the soap operas” and their respective followers. The analysis of the reports and discourses are based on the work by Michel Pêcheux and Michel Foucault. The analysis have shown that the new identities, created in virtual communities network and, the profile of the followers of “fashion in the soap operas”, hosted in Twitter, are characteristically contemporary sensibilities, who take part in the truth games and in the social pressing experimented nowadays

Genealogia: da emergência às potencialidades contemporâneas

The article intends to articulate how the methodological proposal of Foucault, denominated genealogy, is applied to the field in which it emerged, considering that the proposal of this method appeared with the author’s study about the subject of the prisons. To apprehend the execution of the feathers in the contemporary epoch, we searched in Foucault’s theories the concepts of subjectivation processes, power relationships, discursive formations and dispositive. Starting from these concepts, we focused some practices and/or discursive formations of punishment and surveillance that happen at the present time to exemplify the form as the genealogical process raise an interlacement of subjects, information, appearances and disappearances that always obey to a normative logic. To unmask and to understand this logic can favor the liberation of manners of subjectivations crystallized in the punished people and in those ones that execute the punishment. Stiller, we question ourselves on which is the real function of the confinement, of the controls and, why not, if the paradigm of the modernity, the prison, had fail.

Estudo exploratório sobre a delimitação e práticas contemporâneas da educação não formal

This paper presents the survey, demarcation and discussion of different forms of education, which are education unintentional or intentional informal education, which unfolds in formal and non-formal education. The study of the proposed theme was carried through the review, critical analysis and synthesis of academic and scientific literature relevant to different forms of education. It approaches so prominent non-formal education, due to the significant rise of the practices related to it and increase the visibility of the professionals who took teaching as craft specifically in this educational modality. The main sub-areas of non-formal education presented in the article are: corporate education, non-formal education in social held on nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), non-formal education aimed at prevention and health promotion, formation of free courses to people in different areas of knowledge and practice. At the end, pointing to the importance of considering the non-formal education records within its ambit the existence of political and pedagogical rationales different, even opposite, which requires teachers and researchers in the educational field constant vigilance epistemological, so to contribute to the construction and consolidation of a critical education, creative and emancipatory.

A busca de linguagens contemporâneas em artes: reflexões na universidade a partir de Centro de Pesquisa Plástica

This work is about the extension project “Plastic Research Centre”, developed at Unesp (Bauru/São Paulo/Brasil) by the author along with the students of Artistic Education (Plastic Arts). Aiming to encourage the students on supports and alternative techniques, the Audiovisual and Visual Arts Study Group - GRAVA was created as a place for reflexion and creation. The group has been seeking a personal language, improving it as the means to communicate its interpretation of the world are investigated, being it in the urban space or in cultural and virtual centres. By extending the university knowledge to the local community, it is intended to motivate the student’s research along with the professoriate and promote the creation process and artistic works focusing the group’s view on the context it is inserted.

Through a study from the company Mizumo (SP) was possible demonstrate how obtaining and using of strategic information tools supported by in competitive intelligence can bring benefits and subsidies to organizations in identifying opportunities and threats, or even contribute to building and implementation of innovative projects aimed at ensuring quality of life for society.

Cartografias contemporâneas: mapa e mapeamento como metáforas para a pesquisa sobre a formação de professores de Matemática

This essay sketches some principles according to which a research project called “Mapping of math teacher education and practice in Brazil” is been conducted by a group of researchers with the objective of understanding the way policies related to teacher education and practice are effectively implemented in different regions of the country. The main objective of this article is, therefore, to discuss the pressupositions of this project, its foundation, the basic beliefs in which it is rooted. In order to emphasize such principles, some remarks on theorization, methodology, teacher education, narratives and on the concept of mobilization/apropriation are done. The essay is based on a metaphor built on cartographical practices.

This article aims to contribute to the process of constructing a scientific and critical theory from the interrelationship of design and fashion fields. Accordingly, are not only listed fashion and design issues in contemporaneity and tensions between these two fields, but also stated the language aspects of these two areas. We hope that the approach and the issues addressed here can contribute and collaborate on research studies, discussions and reflections that lead to the deepening of these relations in the constitution of a fashion and design theory.

Traições, pequenas mentiras e internet: conjugalidades contemporâneas e usos de mídias digitais

In the present paper, the authors carry out an exploratory analysis of the market of confidential online betrayals by examining the perceptions of the issue of those Ashely Madison Site users participating in the research. The ethnographic method and a multidisciplinary approach were employed in order to understand how love and market, technology and intimacy come together, and how traditional values related to family, conjugality and masculinity articulate in the world of online betrayals. Interactions between men aged between 38 and 70 were favored in the analyses.
